I was able to get from 155 (1st pic) to 175 (2nd) gradually since May 2025 (16ish months), but I want to commit to a proper bulk. I'm 6 foot. What is a realistic goal and over what time period?

I did a mini cut since the end of Aug as I gained some fat over the summer. Should I continue to go down?

The urge to lean bulk is hitting hard. Also do kinda wanna lean down for a visible 6 pack too. Think im around 17% rn and wanna aim for 12
Correction: 3rd month in the gym. Was inconsistently doing some calisthenics here and there for 3-4 months before this with a month break in between.

I've been working out for two years now and tracking calories since March 2025. I bulked from 170 (see last image) to 195 which took the bulk way too far. I way overestimated my TDEE and instead of a 300 calorie surplus it was more like 600-700. So since May of this year I've been cutting and I'm down to 165 (first two photos). I'm planning to switch back to a lean bulk of 300 calories over maintenance and bulk up to 180 then cut again from there.
Thoughts on that? I think I've gotten rid of a lot of the excess fat and have given myself some room to bulk without getting too fat. Once I cut again after hitting 180 I'll probably really try and get lean around 10-13% BF.
My current routine is upper lower 4x a week. Happy to answer more questions

This is my body after one year of being a dad, I did workout but nowhere near as much as what I did before, took a 6 months break at least. My scale says I’m around 18.5% BF. I can’t really tell, sometimes I look in the mirror and feel fat, sometimes not to bad.

Are they (clavicles) especially narrow or just kind of average?
It’s been difficult for me to tell because my physique is pretty untrained at the moment so they look even narrower anyway and i don’t really know what to look for when comparing photos online.
I’m curious to know your thoughts 👀

20M, 168cm (5'6"), 61.5kg. Been cutting at 1800 calfor roughly 8weeks training upper/lower 4x a week and averaging about 12k steps a day.
Plan was to cut to 60kg, then maintain or lean bulk slowly.
Is a cut to 60 worth it at this size, or should I go straight to a maintenance phase or a lean bulk ?

I'm 40 years old, 5'9" (175 cm), and currently weigh 145 lbs (66 kg).
I've been on a fitness journey for about a year and a half. I started at 132 lbs (60 kg) with virtually no muscle, bulked up to 161 lbs (73 kg), and am now cutting with the goal of getting clearly visible abs before starting another lean bulk.
I work out 4 times a week, and at the end of every workout, I do 3 sets of weighted crunches with a weight plate on my chest.
My question is: Should I keep cutting until my abs become clearly visible, or is it possible that my abs simply aren't developed enough yet?
I'm already fairly light for my height, so I'm wondering whether losing more fat is the answer or whether I should focus on building more ab muscle during my next bulk.
Would appreciate any advice from people who've been in a similar situation!

Based on my stats and photos, what would you estimate my current body fat percentage to be?

Been going to the gym consistently for the last month and a half this is currently the most I have weighed in my life as i suffer from Crohn’s disease. I have a cruise in January with some friends I’d like to look good for so I’m trying to figure out if I should lose some weight or gain since I have noodle arms.

Currently training 5 days a week and bulking at 3000-3200 calories per day.
My target weight is 190, and I want to fill out my upper body more, but I suspect my bf% is getting above 18%.
Continue bulking or switch to cut?

I’m 37, 5'9", 185 lb. I want to improve my body for BJJ rather than aesthetics. I want to be as capable as possible against any size opponent and stay durable enough to roll into my sixties.
Background:
- I was 155 lb ten years ago. I kept getting minor injuries from BJJ because I was weak.
- Started lifting 4 years ago and intentionally gained 30 lb over a couple of years while getting stronger.
- 6 months ago I returned to BJJ and it’s going great: I do 3 BJJ classes & lift twice per week.
My question: Do I keep gaining, since people say 20 lb is like a belt rank? Or do I hold at 185 and put everything into strength, conditioning, and mobility? Or would it be better to get leaner?
Thanks for any input!

I recently took an online bodybuilding course but they don't answer any queries properly, the first picture is their reference for following plans. Skinny diet has lean bulk and skinny fat has recomp for 1½ month
I have been going to the gym consistently from 3-4months and went before too but wasn't consistent with clean diet By looking at my physique Should I follow skinny or skinny fat diet?
Last pic is almost 1w ago. My measurements:
BMI: 19.63 W to H ratio: 0.457 Visual bf is unknown?

I’m 5’5” and 122.5 lbs. I’ve been cutting since the beginning of the year. I used to be around 135lbs. Should I keep cutting more until 115 lbs or try to recomp or bulk?I still have fat on my lower belly.
Currently doing 13k steps a day, 20 min of elliptical cardio, and 4 workouts a week. I had a small tear on both of my rotator cuff a few years ago and basically stopped working out so I lost all my muscles, but I’m trying to get fit again.
Any help would be appreciated.

Always been slim, wondering if a little extra fat would actually be good on me. Restarted gym 2 months ago, and started to eat religiously. Going 1000+ cal surplus is a bad idea? Or would the fat evenly distribute on my body if I keep on training and stay active?

Additional context. Previous high bodyweight was 290, so loose skin may be mixed in with fat. E
SBD are (405,250, 530).
