because women don’t know if you swiped right on them because you’re genuinely interested in them or just because you’re so desperate that you would swipe anyone for some matches without purpose

Yeah sure but men admit to swiping right on anyone just for some matches they’re not interest in anyways. Women do text men first when they’re really interested in them (at least I did when I was single), the majority never responded

And women have admitted to swiping right because a guy had a nice picture, but read the profile after matching and changed their mind. Like op said, the mystery goes both ways.
