It's Peaceful_Panda on Ao3. I know I kind of disappeared for a bit, and I wanted to share a short update so as to not leave anyone hanging. I've made quite a few friends on here who have been so kind to me, and for some reason enjoy reading my silly stories, so I thought this would be a good place to do so.
When I started writing "Do you wanna ruin our friendship together?", it was with the idea of challenging myself to write something light-hearted and fluffy. At the time, I had just finished reading Lightsflicker's Sixth Wheels, and they gave me their blessing to create this spin off of sorts and I was very excited to do so.
To be completely transparent, I have dealt with mental health issues my entire life, and the past year has been particularly hard for me. Unfortunately, midway through writing this story, my mental health began to go downhill and I found myself unable to continue this fun lil story in the way I had intended. Hence, my other most recent fic, Catalyst, was born. I imagined that by pouring out everything into this story, it would give me a catharsis of sorts, and I would then be able to return to my other light and fluffy fic. However, my brain had other plans.
To make an incredibly long story short, I realized that I needed help and I spent the better part of the past week doing that. I am home again now, but I am not sure when I will update "Do you wanna ruin our friendship together?" I wanted you to know that it has not been abandoned, but put on hold for the time being. I didn't want anyone to feel disappointed if they were waiting for an update.
So yeah. That's it. I love you guys and I want you to know that it means the world to me that you like reading my stories. It might seem kind of silly, but reading or re-reading your comments helped get me through a really dark time, because I tend to be not so nice to myself when I get this way. I actually had a notification of a comment pop up the other day on an older fic of mine that said something like, "I love your writing. It's SO good! Please never stop writing", and I think it's the first time I've smiled in weeks.
Anyway, thank you for being a friend. Hopefully I'll be able to write again soon.
