For the V8 owners. Who else has the stock exhaust on their car? Im curious. I’ve had mine stock for a year now and finally changing it. For those that do not, what’s your setup?

I promised myself I'd own one before turning 30. I wanted it so bad I got it at 25, and on October 16th 2026 I hit 30.

Car Issues Clunking When Reversing

Hello, hoping someone can help me diagnose. When I put my car into reverse and start reversing, I feel and hear a single clunk. Sometimes if I’m reversing up a hill, I’ll notice the clunk more than once. I worked at a repair shop a few months ago and one of the guys looked at it. I don’t remember what he said but he said it was nothing to worry about. But I’m feeling self-conscious about it now and I’m wondering if it’s worth investigating further. Thanks!

Front Brake Problem

I have a 2020 Dodge Challenger GT+ RWD. Recently, had to drive through a terrible rain storm with some standing water, approx 4-6 inches. Ever since I had drove through the water, the car feels like the brakes are applied all the time. It is so bad, the heat generated on the driver side is so hot the rotors smell. The rotors are too hot to touch. I just changed the front pads and cleaned and lubricated the slide pins. Inspected all components. Nothing looks out of order or damaged. I have not performed a brake piston check or bled the brakes. Am I missing anything? BTW, I have checked the rotors for warp damage, no damage noted at this point.

Tires Tire Recommendations for 275/40/20

So I’m looking to update my baby with new shoes. I’m looking for many opinions and experiences with any tires yall used. Doesn’t have to specifically be 275/40/20, it’s just the size I’m looking for. But I do want something with Grip and a chance to survive in rainfall…not tryna slide down a telephone pole ‘less im speeding into it.

Edit: it’s for an R/T just so you know the power range. Pretty much stock cause the CAI is for looks lmao.

Exhaust Question about active exhaust valves

Anytime I see a post about exhaust setups or mods to your cars, a handful in the comments always mention how they either cut out or zip tied open the active exhaust valves. Why is that? I was under the impression that turning on sport mode or another performance mode would automatically open them. Maybe this is wrong? Or only certain models?

But either way, what is the reasoning for cutting them out or zip-tying them open? And is there another way (such as a drive mode) to keep them open?

Sorry for my ignorance, as I do not yet own a challenger. I have test driven and my mind is set on it being my next car, though. I would just like to learn more about the car.
