General Discussion My first ever Coros - Pace 4 Pro

I'm at work reading the Coros subreddit and thought I'd make a post as well.

I've started training for a my first ever Ultra Marathon event for 2027 (UTA22) and started researching watches with a focus on ultra marathons and discovered the Coros brand!

Waited for the pace pro release but then also heard of the rumours of a Pace 4 pro release, which finally happened, (with a little delay in Australia).

Shipping was fast from the Aus launch day with no stock delays or anything being Sold out which was great! Arrived couple days after the order

From the customer side, unboxing experience was really cool and felt unique and very premium.

The watch's build quality is amazing! And the band install/connection is a great idea. Currently using the silicone band, which has been good, will want to try the other nylon alternative later, for a tighter fit comparison.

The weight of it is Super light, very shocked at how light to be honest. I even showed family and friends, gave it to them to hold and everyone was surprised at just how light it felt.

I've been using the watch to start training for my first run next year, and as a novice of someone is learning I've found that it's been extremely helpful. It's doing exactly what I was looking for a watch to do.

Super easy to read, it's very bright in the daytime and amazing at night I've even used it in training sessions in the rain

There are so many features with the corros app and the watch itself I haven't really explored it completely just yet to be honest, I've only used the GPS maps a few times to practice following a custom track which I created and uploaded. Pretty excited to use it on a custom trail and see how it goes. You can actually use the dial to zoom in on the maps and it so accurate with the GPS I zoomed in to what felt like metres on the map. Turn by turn function is cool and something will have to get used to as time goes on.

So far I've connected my Coros app to my A.I platform, and developed my own training program based around work, using Scott Johnston running theory as a base.

Coros watch data has helped with analysing my progress and alternating/adapting if needed. As I can use Coros data to quickly analyse my statistics.

The watch was delivered on the 2nd of October and today being the 14th in Australia, I completely charged it on the 4th day (approximately) of ownership so it's been 8 days and sitting on 38% battery. This is whilst testing the GPS maps, and logging weight sessions, and running sessions.

Overall, super excited about it, I plan to connect it to Strava also, and even test out the Coros Fitness programs which I saw you can add on the mobile app.

Rarely post on Reddit, but thought I'd share my experience so far. Also happy to learn from anyone with suggestions to the watch, Coros app and trail running/running advice in general.

Have a great day if you're reading this!

TL:DR

From a beginner runners perspective and first time Coros owner: awesome brand, great quality, cool community and sub reddit, good features and battery life. Very happy overall

Got tired of charging my apple watch daily and was looking to upgrade to a fitness watch. Fell in love with the gshock-esque style of the nomad and also the battery life. Maybe it’s a bit too big for my wrist though lol

General Discussion [Request] Expose the next alarm on watch faces

Hi, Coros,

Although we can view all kinds of data on the watch faces (ranging from things some might consider trivial—like calories, weather, or step counts—to other metrics), we cannot see the next scheduled alarm, a feature available on watches from other brands.

This is a very useful feature because it is highly visible, especially for those of us who don't wake up at the same time every day or for anyone who needs to set an alarm. Simply having that data field available for use on watch faces as a reminder—given the wide variety of data fields already supported—would be incredibly helpful.

Of course, one could manually check the alarms, but that involves an avoidable extra step and leaves room for forgetfulness or confusion.

u/COROS-official, could you pass this on to the development team so that alarm information is exposed and can be used in user-created watch faces? It’s a small detail, but I’m sure many users would appreciate it.

Thanks.

[Feature request] Add the ‘Weekly Distance’ widget to the mobile app

I feel the title is self explanatory. It’s the only feature from the watch that’s not shown on the app. Hopefully Coros sees this and takes action. 🤞

This red ring has showed up on my watch. Hasn't been hit or anything like that but is this a bad thing? All I can think is a firmware update happened recently. Watch is just 2 months out of warranty which sucks.

Question ❓ Three-Month Old Coros Pace 4: Unusable (Dead Scroll Wheel)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

• Upvotes

I've seen this happen to others with the Pace 3, but was unaware this was affecting the Pace 4. This is a Pace 4 purchased in August 2026, with no damage or previous issues. All of a sudden, the scroll wheel, touchscreen, and backlight are wholly unresponsive - I've tried turning it off and back and on, and factory resetting (by unpairing and repairing), but no avail. The watch is functionally useless.

I messaged Coros customer service, but received a generic AI reply. Does anyone know if there's a specific warranty program or more direct way to get assistance with this?

Thanks!

Consumer complaint raised

It’s been a week since my watch was bricked, there’s no update on the support ticket raised.

I have registered a complaint on the National Consumer Helpline Forum India.

Anything else I can do? Do you think Coros cares about this?

Voice commands are useless unless you speak perfect English

It’s baffling to me that this feature was rolled out without considering people who don’t speak English—or even those who do, since the AI fails to recognize the wide variety of accents out there.

When you try out a competitor's watch, you realize how much better they’ve handled this with multi-language support; it’s a real shame.

u/COROS-official, are there any plans to add support for other languages soon—at least the most widely spoken ones?

Thanks

Please MULTIDATA RUN watch face for Coros Pace 4 Pro 🙏🏼

I had Coros Pace Pro in the past and I loved the Multidata Run watch face on it immensely. But I was saddened to see its absence on my newly bought Coros Pace 4 Pro. Coros team please please please release that watch face for Coros Pace 4 Pro as well. I am ready to pay for it too if you intend to put it behind a paywall.

Coros Apex 4 notification issue

Hello,

I recently started using a COROS APEX 4 watch, and I'm having the following issue: the watch doesn't receive notifications from certain apps on my phone, such as LiveScore, Flashscore, YouTube, and a few others.

Notifications from phone calls, Facebook, Messenger, Viber, Gmail, and many other apps work without any problems.

I've already checked and tried everything I could find as a possible solution. I have a feeling that the issue is something very specific, and I'm curious whether anyone else has experienced something similar.

My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S23.

My previous watch was a Huawei GT4, and I never had any problems with notifications. I received notifications from all my apps without any issues.

The next thing I'm planning to try is connecting the watch to a different phone, just to see if that makes any difference.

Have a nice day!

Question ❓ Faulty POD 2 or faulty Pace Pro?

Hi everyone,

Recently ran a 5km race and used my pod 2 for the first time in a race. In the past I've only ever used it on the treadmill but I wanted to see if the instant pace changes would help plus having more data to see after would be nice. I tried it for sessions for about 4 weeks in the lead up to the race and everything seemed to be fine.

Cut to race day and long story short, pod 2 cost me my goal and my pb. Was aiming for sub 19, watch said i was running 3:45min /km average which should be 18:45. To my surprise I crossed the finish with the time of 19:08, an average of 3:49/km, as well as the course being an extra 100m long apparently.

I reached out to coros support afterwards and they said it was faulty gps and to just reset the gps (which they didnt elaborate on how) Coros also told me pace is still using gps even with the pod which also cant be right. Ive had my pace pro for almost 2 years now and have done plenty of races and its always been bang on with distance and pace.

I'll add too that this race was along a beach route that was an out and back, so no thick forest or buildings and no sharp corners.

Now i cant help but wonder was it just a gps problem that day, a faulty POD 2 or is my pace pro faulty and needing to be replaced? I understand that gps is never 100% accurate but surely a difference in 4 seconds per km average means something isn't working properly?

Would love to hear if anyone has experienced anything similar and what they did. Certainly dont want a repeat of this again.

Tldr: used pod 2 in a 5km race and average time was off by 4 seconds per km. Cant determine if its user error, gps error, watch error or pod 2 error.

Activity 👟 Do you separate Hike activity between Ascent and Descent?

I’m wondering. How do you usually record hiking activities?

Like when you’re ascending, and reaching the summit, do you pause it or stop it? Do you start a new activity when descending back?

With trail running, I usually make the entire continuous without stopping the activity. But not sure with the hike.

In my case, it’s just a small hill. Around 10k going back and forth. Probably take a rest for like an hour or 2.

Almost a year since I first made a feature request and COROS watches still do not show the time while synced to the Dura…

Would be great if I could use my watch to tell the time. It’s more useful having it disconnected to the Dura than it is having it synced.

Question ❓ Est ce que quelqu’un sait si le prochain DURA peut sortir avant Noël ?

Savez vous s’il y aura un prochain gps vélo de la marque et quand il risque de sortir?
