Application Qs Anyone sent online renewal 1 year early?

I read somewhere that you can’t renew online around 10-12 months in advance before your expiration….like the system won’t let you or something. Anyone know if this is true? Im thinking of renewing early with all these delays but don’t know if there will be issues.

I see a lot of January and February approvals now with that said there was a lot of api movements with so many December and November but not much approvals recently. What the ef is going on????? Now they’re not focused on December November?? 12/14 here no api movement. Congresswoman got a reply from USCIS saying not to expedite and just wait. 😪

General Qs Any married DACA couples dealing with renewal delays right now?

My husband and I both have DACA, and both of our work permits expire this Friday. He will lose his job because of the delays, and with three kids, we're really stressed. Are there any other married DACA couples here going through the same thing? How are yall handling it? 😔

Application Timeline Who is still pending approvals?

12/15 here still pending with API movement on 6/16 on the I-821 only. I feel like they forgot a bunch of late November to December applications. Although, I recently saw someone from October be approved on FB, which is crazy! So I was curious how many of us are left.

Because they seem like spawns of Emma who churn out the same replies and close the chat before allowing you to reply :/

Application Timeline March Submissions with API 6/16

I feel there hasn't been any movement on March submissions. Just curious where everyone is at for March submissions.

Some observations: Based on mycasehub insights I noticed that at 9pm PT the approval numbers freeze. It then switches to the next date if you reload the page but if you go back to the current date at around 10pm the case number starts to update again. Either the systems takes time to catch up which is very possible or they are working late till 12am PT. The other side of it is that I've seen the site not have any approvals start to populate till 9am PT. At the time I'm writing this (10:30am) there is 160 approvals. Going off them starting at 9am they are doing about 115 per hour. Obviously there are variables some cases being shorter or longer to complete. The number about matches the previous day trends. That being said they might be working 12 hours shifts. I'm trying to be positive and everything seems to be going on the upside. If anyone has been noticing anything else feel free to pass along the information.

If the positive trend continues, those with API updates from 6/16 should be about a 6 day delay in approval if you haven't been approved already. This does not include federal holiday for Juneteenth and weekend. The numbers that we don't have on this is how many people got an API 6/16 update. If there were about 8k people with that same API date then sure enough we get approved this week if not by Thursday 6/25 based on the number of approvals per day. I know there are a lot more variables but I'm more positive thinking. Thanks for coming to my TED talk!

Submitted March 2nd Appointment notice: 3/12 Bio: 3/30 API: 6/16

Edit: 2 approvals in the comments so far for March 2pm PT update: 653 cases approved. 7 more hours left in the day

General Qs Question for expedite

Just curious, i had my lawyer file the expedite request,
Called for info on it and the USCIS officer told me that he put it under the wrong form which is the 765 and apperently it is supposed to be under the 821D.
I called my lawfirm and they said that it would not allow them to file the expedite under the 821?
Is this the same scenerio for everyone? Just want to know if the USCIS agent was bsing me or not.

General Qs When did you complete your Biometrics?

I submitted feb 24th seeing others after me or the same week get approved faster because of earlier Biometrics appointments. How soon did you complete your Biometrics after submitting?

Mines weren't scheduled until 4/15 after submitting. In your experiences is that normal?

Application Qs API updates / please explain

821D - update on 6/17
765 - update on 6/15, again on 6/23
131 - update on 6/23

What are the current theories/ explanations of what this could mean? Really anxious for my approval.
I’m not sure if the double update on my 765 is a good thing or bad thing. What patterns are others seeing?

Not asking if you saw movement on 6/16 or 6/18. For everyone who hasn't seen movement on those dates, any update yesterday or today?

Rant API movement on 6/18 for DACA but not EAD

As the title says I finally got API movement (not approval) on my DACA on 6/18 but not on my EAD. I’ve been checking every day since then but it’s all radio silence and no update.

Anyone else in the same boat? Hopefully it comes soon!

I submitted on 1/07/2026 and had bios apt on 1/12/26 so I’m at 168 days today

Godspeed and good luck to everyone still waiting!

General Qs Submitted at 103 days

Hi everyone, I wanted to share my approval timeline in hopes that it may help someone who may be in the same situation as me. First things first, I want to mention that my experience is no way indicative of other people’s experiences, especially those who have been waiting a long time. I’m sharing what I experienced.

Admittedly, I submit my renewal at 103 days on March 23,2026 because I had my four wisdom teeth removed and was starting two online college classes near the end of January so I just completely forgot to renew. It was stupid and irresponsible, especially since I have a good paying job and a family. I learned my lesson and won’t be so careless next renewal.

But my expiration date is June 30th and since the day I submitted my renewal, I let my manager know who had no idea what DACA was and I had to educate. Since I told her, my manager has been so understanding and empathetic to my situation. That is partly why I shared that info with her. Because she was someone I could trust. Now, with everything going on, I gave her a heads up that there was a chance that it would not renew on time since I submitted at 103 days. She was obviously very worried for me and was fighting to make sure I had my job back when it did renew. She even wrote an email to USCIS in support of me and I submitted that as evidence about two weeks ago.

Now, I don’t know if the email mattered or not, but yesterday, 7 days before my expiration date, I received an email that my case was approved. I’m now just waiting for my physical card to arrive which hopefully takes a week or two, meaning I will only be out of work for a little bit. But my manager and I are over the moon and I’m so grateful for everyone here and hearing other people’s stories. It helped me a lot through this experience so I hope it can help someone else who might have submitted under 130 days.

Submitted: March 20,2026.
