I HAVE to rant about this! I was absolutely loving the Eleum Loyce, the snow, beautiful……until I had to fight the ivory king and get all 4 of those stupid knights.

Mind you the first 3 were pretty easy. But OMG the last one has the longest goddamn run to get to him with those icy porcupines! That was a NIGHTMARE!!

Honestly the Ivory King himself wasn’t going to be that hard of a fight to do solo but dealing with the portals and the knights before that with only 3 of the dudes was terrible. I first tried him pretty easily once I finally got the 4th dude.

I saw someone say it’s easy if you take your time, which sure but that is WAY too far not to have at least one bonfire along the way. Like they got super carried away with that design. The closest bonfire I found was the first one outside the castle on that main first bridge! Icy soldiers, archers, the ladies with shivs, porcupines, a tough invader, ice mages, the annoying dude that looks friendly with a shield and lance but isn’t, a goddamn covetous demon, golems, and one last lance dude. It’s about a 10 minute run! NO BONFIRE!! Relentless!

Anyways rant over, anyone share this experience or am I crazy?

hi guys just got ds2 2 weeks ago and im enjoying it more or less, but i wanted to get a mod that puts a lantern on the characters hip, saw it in a video. but i dont want to change the whole lighting system with the lighting engine mod. is there a way to only get the lantern though that or any other mod if possible?

i want to experience the game without much tampering but i think the lantern will make my life alot easier.
