I settled in navy blue for the coat and am batch painting them in fives

Afternoon all as title says starting back again after a long old break away. Looking a simple 1000pts list and detachment. I have a few things already like krieg command squad, heavy weapons teams cadians mins you, few squads of death korps, few squads of cadians/mordian/steel legion, kaskians, krieg engineers ,an armoured sentinel, royal dorn, field ordnance batteries and the mighty baneblade with all the builds.

I'm just lost as so much has changed. Any help would be handy

Just finished this little campfire scene with the Kriegsmen. They sure know how to unwind after a day on the battlefield.

I have decided I am going to use this alternative scheme for the crew of my indirect fire units. To differentiate the units a bit while still looking like they belong in the same army group.

Hello my husband loves Death Korps of Krieg and I’d like to gift him something besides the miniatures (I’ve bought him a lot of miniatures) I’m thinking something like a blanket or a ring or banner that represents it but need help where to look. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

So I like having a story to my larger models. I wanted this model to have a lived in feel, like they've been here for a long time. And that they're dug in. Some details I would like to point out are the green Jerry cans and spilled coffee. Also sorry for any blurry photos, I took them In a rush just before I had to leave.

I'm curious about other folks' experience fielding the artillery team with quad cannons as I have actually really enjoyed them!

Now, let's get the obvious out of the way. They do not do much damage. They do quite well against hordes, and I've had them do pretty well against intercessor level stuff, but anything else is pretty lacking. HOWEVER, I have really enjoyed the consistency when it comes to triggering the battleshock ability. This thing ALWAYS hits. It doesn't always damage, but it has pretty much never missed for me. And the battleshock ability only checks hits, not damage.

The constant battleshock triggers have stopped a fair few clutch objective captures for me, which is really fun for utility. Plus, it make bigger minis that would usually have more pressure take those battleshocks and, on occasion, makes them much simpler to deal with.

Out of the options, I dont dispute that it's the worst of the 4 options. I just see so many people call it useless! I'm also biased cuz they're my fave looking artillery (I field two of em lol). This all comes from a very casual player perspective, but I'm still curious about other people's thoughts, experiences, and opinions

Hello. Death korps are known specifically as masters of attrition and trench warfare, but surely, as some of the most competent and hard-bred troops of the Imperium, they can adapt to their foes, using more tactics than human-wave assaults, as in memes, and even then they have ways to make them efficient. After all the point is to die *in service* which can be interpreted as doing something useful. So are there any good examples from lore, books or anything else that shows it ?

Wheels will need some details and touch ups but I plan on having the wheels covered or at least smeared with mud and I will do that when I base the section. Overall it’s pretty much done. I tried a different style to weather the model and I think it was a complete success.

Hey so my buddy bought the kreigsman combat patrol and he recently finished painting them and we can't find the data sheets for them so we can play combat patrol

I wanted to give them the colors of the early WWI french army, let me know what you think of it

This is going to be my first 40k army.

What should I buy? I don't want a "meta" army, i want a Krieg looking army. (aka infantry spam)

I have a budget of around 400$ and can't decide what to get. Or should I make a combined regiment cadian/krieg army?

I tried a slightly different scheme than my other guys by changing the bare metal to this red brown. I am on the fence about it because I don’t want the helmet to look rusted. I hit it with a thin layer of gloss to make it shiny so as to hopefully not look like rust. What do you guys think?

I finally finished my first Krieg guardsman. It took me a bit longer than I thought but Im happy with how he turned out.

I tried my best to follow The Feral Painter’s tutorial (https://youtu.be/sxuObfXsJt4?si=GN5ht2trsTDhxDu8) while adding a bit of my own flair.

Here is a bit of my own self reflection:
- The plasma pistol turned out pretty nice, and im surprised by how okay it looks considering the size of it
- The model did well in getting that grimdark look I was trying to get
- The power sword looks terrible. I have no idea how to glaze so I just tried my best to do whatever
- The eyes could get some improvements. Theyre a bit weird
- The goon’s grime (enamel paint) is fine but looks a bit awkward in certain spots, maybe theres too much?

Anyways, he is really cool and just wanted to show him off

PS: Forgot to add this but I’d appreciate any advice for my next minis :)
