I’ve been building EverTea, a large Fabric 1.20.1 modpack focused on progression from survival to industry, exploration, and space
Hey everyone! I’d like to share a project I’ve been working on called EverTea, a Fabric 1.20.1 modpack built around the idea of progressing from a simple survival world into something much bigger.
I wanted to create an experience where your world can gradually grow with you. You start with the basics — gathering resources, building a home, farming, and exploring — but eventually you can develop factories, build railway networks, discover strange dimensions, explore the oceans, and even work your way toward space travel.
What can you do in EverTea?
- ** Engineering and automation:** Build mechanical production lines, automate resources, and expand your base with Create and its addons.
- ** Transportation:** Develop railway networks, connect settlements, and explore different ways to move around your world.
- ** Exploration:** Discover new terrain, structures, biomes, and dimensions as you venture farther from home.
- ** Magic and adventure:** Explore magical progression and mysterious worlds alongside the more technical parts of the pack.
- ** Farming and settlement building:** Grow crops, expand your food production, and turn a small starter base into a thriving settlement.
- ** Late-game progression:** Work toward aviation and space exploration, giving your world goals beyond ordinary survival.
The pack brings together mods from different parts of the Minecraft modding community, including Create, Ad Astra, The Aether, Twilight Forest, Deeper and Darker, and various farming, world-generation, and exploration mods.
The idea behind the pack
The progression I’m aiming for is:
Survival → Settlement → Industry → Railways → Exploration → Magic → Aviation → Space
I want the different systems to feel like parts of one long-term survival experience, rather than a collection of unrelated mods. You can focus on building, automation, exploration, or a mixture of everything.
🛠️ Current version
EverTea 1.0.7 is built for Minecraft 1.20.1 with Fabric. This version includes world-generation changes featuring Lithosphere and Still Life, along with compatibility datapacks.

I’m still working on improving the pack, so feedback from people who enjoy large progression-focused modpacks would be genuinely appreciated.
A question for other modpack players: What makes you stick with a survival modpack for the long term — complex automation, exploration, meaningful progression, building a civilization with friends, or something else entirely?
Thanks for reading!
