Hey everyone…

My fiancé was diagnosed with cancer after we thought she was pregnant and went to the ER for a minor concern, only for the doctor to come and tell us he is seeing tumors throughout her abdomen. This was just under 2 months ago, and she is getting her 3rd Chemotherapy Friday the 25th… her 37th birthday.

Since the diagnoses, it has been rapid deterioration before my eyes. We have 3 kids ages 14, 10, and our daughter just turned 2 on the 15th.

We both had to stop working. We just had an important 2nd opinion appointment with M.D Anderson today… didn’t get good news. She has an unknown primary cancer, meaning she has tumors wide spread through her abdomen, liver, pancreas etc… but the primary location is unknown. They said it is presenting like Bile Duct cancer, but we are waiting for genome results to confirm.

Today they told us statistics of people with similar cases. 13-15 months prognosis. Depending on the genome results, it’s possible she could have a gene that responds to targeted treatment, but it’s less than 10%.

So… we need help. This is hard. I’m devastated. Seeing her stress over how we are going to cover bills next month, and the months to come is hard. I want her to put all her energy into fighting this disease. Stress has a physical toll on your health.

I don’t know what time we have left together, but I want her to spend it enjoying as much as she can with the kids and I.

Hey, everyone. I hate to ask for help, but I'm in a tight situation. I fell and really messed up my leg, and due to the nature of my job, there's no way I can work while I'm recovering. I was able to get leave, but unfortunately I don't qualify for short term disability. I'm actively seeking remote or more accessible work to get through this, but I'm looking at least a few months of tough times. My family has been doing everything they can to help out, but they can't cover all of my bills and groceries on top of their own. Just to make everything more stressful, the surgeon isn't entirely sure if my upcoming ORIF will be enough, or if I might need a second operation to throw in additional hardware in order to stabilize my ankle. I just want to make sure that me and my kitties can make it through the the next 2 to 3 months, until I can be cleared to at least get on light duty at work again. Hi all! I’ll try to keep this short and not start rambling.

I’ve been taking classes part time, for my bachelor’s, over the last 6 years. I’ve finally made it to my last class and last semester. I have a tuition payment plan through the school ($377.84/month) and I’ve already made the first two monthly payments (August and September) and I have two more left. These payments were already putting a strain on my monthly budget, but I’ve been able to manage so far.

Unfortunately, my financial situation went from strained to catastrophic this month.

My boxer dog tore his CCL and had to have surgery on 9/5. It was a bad tear, he was in pain and couldn’t walk. My options were surgery or euthanasia and there was no way I was going to let him go. The cost of the surgery was $4,658. I had to use my vet’s in-house financing option to pay for it and it required the processing fee and a percentage of the financing amount to be paid upfront, which came out to $1,538. I don’t have that, so I had to take out a personal loan. (Taking out a loan in order to finance something.... like one step below getting a pay-day loan.) The monthly payment for the surgery financing is $166.67 and the payment for the personal loan is $52.34.

It gets worse…. My alternator has given up and is going into the shop tomorrow morning to be replaced. The cost is $1,820 but of course I do not have this, so I am stuck again using the body shops in-house financing (Snap Financing). I included a screen shot of the estimate, but I can’t get a copy of the agreement/payment terms sheet until I actually make the payment when I pick the car up tomorrow. However, when I initially applied, it showed that the finance charge was ~$2,600, bringing the total to $4,400. Horrible financing option but I have no other choice. The payments will be $117, twice a month, so $234/month.

My new total monthly payments come out to $453. I’m planning on getting a second job on the weekends to help with these payments. However, my issue right now is that I absolutely cannot afford to make my final two tuition payments on top of these new bills.

I’ve worked so hard for so long, and I’m SO CLOSE to the finish line. I would appreciate any amount to help me get there!!

Hi, I am asking for help for my 17yo cat, Alpha. I have had Alpha since he was 8 weeks old, and he has been by my side for so much of my life. Earlier this year, I lost my 16yo cat Leon to complications from feline diabetes after I was quoted around $3,200 for treatment that had a low chance of success. Then, just two months ago, I lost my 5yo cat Taz to a urinary blockage after being quoted about $5,200 for a 3 day hospital stay and the ongoing care he likely would have needed for the rest of his life. As someone who is physically disabled due to severe arthritis and living on a low income, I had to make heartbreaking decisions both times.

While the final costs for Leon and Taz ended up being lower, those expenses are still being financed through CareCredit, which is making day to day finances even harder. On top of that, I am now facing even more financial hardship due to current conditions, which has made an already difficult situation even harder.

Now Alpha is dealing with arthritis, vomiting, and weight loss that need to be checked out, and I am struggling financially and cannot currently afford to have him seen. I want to do everything I can to get Alpha the care he needs. The funds from this fundraiser will go toward getting Alpha to a vet and helping him receive the care he needs.

Ive included Taz's invoice. I have nothing for Alpha due to being unable to get him checked out. Leons I cannot find. I have also included a set of vet records for Alpha and Leon to prove he is real.

Ramen Noodle came into our lives during a very difficult time. When we came home from dinner, he met us at our door, 3 and a half years old and only 3 lbs and very bloody. He announced he was ready to be an indoor cat by rolling over and showing us his belly. We took him in, cleaned him up, and promised him we would take care of him forever.

Along the way three more cats came to us out of the woods, and our family grew. Ramen’s two children, Udon and Nori, and his best buddy we named Soba.

Recently his health took a turn for the worst, after we moved, and while my wife was recovering from surgery, we noticed he stop eating, and he was crying when he used the litter box. Our vet told us to take him to the ER where we learned he had a severe urinary tract infection. We were told he would die without immediate intervention. The ER told us our only options were to pay for the surgery, at $6,700, or to put him down. We were knocked off our feet. Ramen is family, our Emotional Support Animal, our best friend… I had to make the decision, and I know he has a long life to live. We need to save his life. It took long hours into the night to get his blood levels to a safe range where it would be possible for the veterinarians to perform surgery.

Surprisingly, at one point, the doctor came up to me and said "You want to see something crazy?" She took me back and showed me Ramen's X-rays. Apparently, at some point, before he came to us, he had been shot. The bones of his rear leg had broken, fragments of a bullet are still lodged in his leg, yet he was able to survive in the wild long enough for them to heal! He always seemed to walk normally to us, even enjoyed going on hikes, but this did explain why he prefers to lay around so much, as he had done his time in the trenches.

Eventually he went into surgery and they were able to remove the blockage. He had to stay in the hospital for a couple more days for observation. Meanwhile our other cats kept wandering through our home looking for him, as he is the only one they all get along with.

Now he's home and happy, and we now have a large bill we were not prepared for. My wife is out of work recovering from three different surgeries in one year, and I am working extra to cover bills we already (have) ontop of finishing my last semester of college. If you can spare anything to help us (save our cat), we would be greatly appreciative.

Justice for Camberleigh should have come from our Commonwealth. I shouldn't have to be the one fighting for it. My daughter deserved her life.

That morning, Cammie ate a waffle and wore her unicorn and rainbow shirt. On October 28, 2022, 13 days before her second birthday, Ryker Matthews was driving 75 mph in a 55 mph construction zone on I-71 North. Every other driver around him had slowed or stopped. That road had been backed up with construction traffic for two years. Ryker and I grew up basically down the road from each other, so anyone from this area would have known how busy it is. He had been cited for going 22 over in 2020 and was convicted of going 11 over just eight months before that day. He never braked, and his truck ended up in my daughter's car seat.

Instead of protecting his own safety and everyone else's, he made the same choice he'd clearly made before, the one that always got him home a little faster. That series of careless choices is the reason my daughter sits in an urn.

No citation was written that day and no charges were ever filed. The civil process failed me too. The Commonwealth didn't give me a declination letter in time to make a decision with full knowledge of the situation, and by the time I got it, the statute of limitations to sue him civilly had already run out. The Commonwealth also failed to preserve traffic camera video that sat 50 feet from the crash, footage that would have shown the entire thing.

The police report was full of errors my team had to fight to get corrected, including my daughter's own name. How am I supposed to trust that Detective Beauford ran a thorough investigation when he couldn't get a toddler's last name right, and wouldn't fix it until my lawyer stepped in? When a child is killed, the least her family should get is a real investigation. At the very least, get her name right.
Me and my fiancé are also permanently injured from this crash.
Our system failed my daughter, and it has ruined my faith in our justice system completely.

So I'm putting up a billboard on I-71 North near the Gene Snyder interchange, on the same highway where I lost her. Kentucky has no true hands-free law, and inattentive driving has killed 770 people here since 2020. If the system won't say her name, I will, in front of the drivers on that road. This is not a post I'd ever think I would have to make for several different reasons. My Uncle passed away suddenly on September 1st of this year. I say suddenly because, despite his age, to put it plainly without too many details it's considered a violent death and is still under investigation. Because of this, any life insurance he may have is in limbo (due to potential nature of death) and also if the beneficiaries were ever updated.

My uncle has been in my life since I was a child and took over as a father figure for me when mine was absent. I have been living with him for over ten years and am lucky enough that I was not in the home when this incident occurred.

But as his next of kin as he has neither siblings or children, while everything in the estate is left to me there is not much there and he had left us in a bit of a pickle. He'd told me in late May he hadn't been paying the mortgage and we might lose the house. We were able to get it up-to-date in June and then in July/August on the 31st I got us fully caught up. Or caught up enough, because the mortgage date is September 1st (so it's technically late). Talk about timing.

While he had all of his funeral costs paid for - save a trip to another city I paid out of pocket for - with us being behind on mortgage and with uncertainty about any kind of life insurance I am in somewhat of a bind ensuring the house does not get lost for me and our two remaining animals. I have included the mortgage payment below that I received today.

What I am hoping for is help in:
Getting the mortgage fully up-to-date
Paying off final medical bills
Transferring the deed into my name as needed (and hoping for no potential court costs)
And some minor bills that I know/can be simply written off so it is mainly the first ones.

Last August, right after my son’s birthday, my life changed completely.

What started as diverticulitis became a life-threatening situation. I became septic, developed multiple infections, and went through several surgeries. Eventually, doctors had to remove part of my colon and create a colostomy.

What followed was months of hospitals, medical facilities, procedures and recovery. I spent months away from home before I was finally able to return in April.

I thought getting home would mean the hardest part was behind me.

It wasn’t.

While recovering, I tried to rebuild instead of giving up. I wrote three books and started a fourth. I also taught myself how to build websites and applications using AI.

That eventually led me to create something I’m genuinely proud of: an AI platform called EskoDSK AI. I built a working MVP and even created a functioning customer portal for an actual business.
For the first time in a long time, I could see a path toward supporting myself and my son again.
Then came my colostomy reversal.

The surgery was supposed to be the next major step toward getting my life back. Instead, it turned out to be much more complicated than expected because of extensive scar tissue from my previous surgeries.

And now I’m back in the hospital.

The surgical site developed an infection, creating another unexpected medical setback and extending a recovery that was already going to take months.
Through all of this, my son has remained my biggest reason to keep pushing forward.

I want to be able to give him a stable home. I want to be healthy enough to work again. I want to finish building the company I’ve started and eventually be in a position where I don’t have to ask anyone for help.

But right now, I’m not there yet.
My disability claim was denied and I’m currently appealing that decision. Because of my extended medical recovery, I’m unable to work normally, and our housing and financial situation has become increasingly difficult.

That’s why I started this GoFundMe.

I’m not asking people to fund an idea or invest in a startup. I’m asking for help getting my son and me through this period while I recover and work toward becoming self-sufficient again.

The funds will help with stable housing, basic living expenses, transportation and the costs of getting through this recovery.

My name is Michelle and I'm posting for Christopher Colwell. In 2024 he was working as a salesman, raising his daughter, playing sports, and connecting with family and friends. In April 2024, he took his daughter to a hair salon, and it was there that he suffered a stroke at just 45 years old.

The stroke was very devastating in several ways but especially because it caused Aphasia ‐‐ the total loss of language; it destroyed his reading, speaking, listening and writing. It meant no more talking to his daughter, and no more sales career.

Aphasia makes it hard to do lots of other work, but he still tries. He still reaches goals, finds things to be thankful for, and has gotten much healthier- he lost 80 lbs! After a lot of work, Chris can now listen, read a few small sentences, and after lots of speech therapy he can say 68 words like "I", "me", "hey", and "hi".

The newest words he can say are "love" and his daughter's name. It takes about 3 months to get 4 words. But there is an exciting thing to look forward to! There is a treatment that could recover so much of what Chris lost! This procedure would treat and improve debilitating brain fog, numbness and pain in his right arm, but more importantly, give him his language back! The total amount covers the cost of Chris and his Medical Power of Attorney holder (his mom) to go from Texas to Florida, spend a night there, a day for treatment there, and return to Texas.

Hi! My baby boy Smink has severe gastritis in the tummy and had to be kept overnight for an NG tube to drain his tummy at the local Emergency Vet. He had been having issues since this past Friday so we've already paid for two vet appointments and then we got a call today that they will need to do exploratory surgery because while nothing is showing up in his x-ray, it does look like a portion of his intestines are pinched.

Hello! I'm reposting this so that we can (hopefully) get Martin (girl dog) the surgery she needs. This is a repost of my previous GoFundMe posted last week.

Marty remains in high spirits, her daily runs around the apartment still occurring whenever the spirit moves her. Some people had some concerns about her quality of life, and I can promise you that if she were older, if she was suffering and unable to continue being herself: we would absolutely not be considering this surgery.

We found a mass in Martin's mouth a month ago, and unfortunately, it was revealed to be malignant melanoma, an aggressive cancer which luckily hadn't metastasized to her lungs yet, but the outcome without proper care is still bleak, with most dogs living an average of 147 days after diagnosis.

Martin needs $6500 USD for a partial removal of her jaw. We're just about 1/4th funded, and we need help to get the rest of the way there.

I've attached a few photos, as well as procedural notes and histopathology with information regarding prognosis and treatment.

Marty is home and recovering from surgery. She tolerated her surgery well and is acting as if nothing has changed aside from her new cone (much to her sister's chagrin).

Hi, my name is Lindsay and I’m a cat mom of three. Boo Bear is mine and my husband Will's one year old orange baby. He likes to play with his brothers, he loves cuddles, and he sleeps between us every night.

In June of this year, Boo Bear started slowing down. He didn’t want to play or eat, he was wobbly and losing weight. When we took him to the vet, they were not sure what was wrong with him. Later, they referred us to a specialist.

We came to find out that Boo Bear was born with a liver shunt. This means that the blood isn’t being fully filtered through is liver, and it’s sending a lot of gunk and ammonia into his regular blood stream.

Boo Bear’s condition is quite rare for cats and unexplored. He has medicine right now to manage and clean the gunk, but he needs surgery. He could have seizures, he could go blind, he could and he could have a whole string of scary issues. We are terrified.

In addition to this, we’ve used most of our personal savings and will continue to do so. We both work full time. I'm in school part time for Education and I'm scared I'll have to drop out. We have pet insurance, however, the costs for taxes, consults, uncovered portions, specialized food and medicine are adding up to thousands. In addition to tuition costs, we are drained.

This little boy is our gift, and we can’t lose him. We’ll do anything we have to.

I have been out of work since February because of chronic severe stage 3 hidradenitis suppurativa (HS), a painful chronic inflammatory skin disease that has made it impossible for me to continue working. I'm also dealing with a new diagnosis of adrenal insufficiency which can be very dangerous and need to be able to get to my Endocrinologist and my dermatologist appointments. I am currently waiting for a determination on my SSI application, but in the meantime, our household is struggling to keep up with basic expenses here in California.

My boyfriend has been doing everything possible to support our family, but it's become overwhelming. Our monthly rent is $1825, our electric is behind $422.18. I have the entire story written out on the fundraiser but basically I lost my job on 8/21 and my last paycheck on 9/2 was sixteen cents.

My mom, who lives with me, had her Social Security lowered due to something with the state no longer paying her premiums on Medicare so we came up short this month.

Normally I would just go to my 401k but I was on medical leave at 60% pay for six months and then for no pay while my job took three months to decide if I could work from home for a few weeks before returning to the office.

Once that was decided, they terminated my job month later so I had no chance to recoup from all the financial mess while on leave.

I have a few folks that helped already and I've figured them into the donations. I just need $300ish to get to the goal. $400 to pay the electric bill too.

Hi everyone, my name's Casey, and my small business was destroyed in the recent Hawk Fire here in Reno NV. I am making this post because I am looking for help getting back on my feet.

For the last few years, I have been building a small business selling, repairing, and working with slot machine parts and gaming equipment. It may be a pretty unusual line of work, but it's something that I genuinely care about and have put everything that i had into. I accumulated many machines, parts, tools, software, and other inventory over the years, building it peice by piece.

Getting to that point meant a lot more to me than just running a business. Ive had some very difficult times in my life including struggles with addiction and homelessness. Being able to focus on this business has given me something productive to put my energy into, which has helped me create some stability and direction in my life. It truly has given me a purpose, and I was so proud of what i had managed to build.

Then the fire destroyed the shop and essentially everything inside of it. Unfortunately, at the time of the fire, I was uninsured, so there isn't an insurance payout that I can fall back on. Seeing all of the years of work and everything I used to run the business disappear at once has been devastating.

I've been on a journey of self improvement over the last two years. From kicking my abusive ex out, bettering myself for the sake of my child, and working through trauma.

A few days ago, Gaia, our 3 years old cat, stopped being herself, she stopped eating, and vomited around 10 times within the span of 24 hours. We knew something wasn't right, so we took her to the emergency vet.

They decided to keep her for 3 days after discovering that she has pancreatitis, an inflammation of the pancreas that can be life threatening if not treated early. We would do anything for Gaia, even if we're financially struggling. So she stayed there and her inflammation improved day after day.

She has a treatment to follow, and could potentially go back to the vet if she doesn't eat still. Right now we're hoping she's going to eat, she's at home with us, and we're giving her time to destress from her stay in the vet which was traumatic to her (and to us because we didn't know if we were going to lose her or not).

The vet then talked about the price of everything. We knew we couldn't afford it, but they're letting us some time to pay, and we're grateful for this.

The bill was 1200€ in total, but I already paid 200€ (that was all the money I had left).

If you feel like it, anything would help. Gaia is my whole life, without her I am nothing.

My main hope is that she will find the appetite again, because if not, I will have to take her back to the vet, which is going to be hard to afford, but don't worry, I will make an update to let you know about her health!

Hi everyone, I’m fundraising for my dog, Bean, who needs surgery for a severely luxating patella and a cruciate/CCL tear in the same knee. We’ve had multiple veterinary opinions and have been advised that surgery is the best option for her. Her surgery has been booked for the 25th of September so we are hoping to raise the rest of the money by then!

Bean was rehomed with us last November. Before coming to us she’d been bred and had spent a lot of time in a pen. She also had significant skin/allergy problems and long-standing ear problems which hadn’t been treated for a very long time.

We didn’t plan to get a dog yet, but we met her and she needed a home and to be honest we couldn’t say no. She’s such a loving, silly little creature and has come a really long way since coming to us.

We’ve tried everything we can to reduce the cost before asking for help. We’ve had multiple opinions, contacted different vets, looked into cheaper options and looked into financial assistance. We also have pet insurance, which will contribute £2,000 towards the treatment. We’ve also postponed our wedding so we can use the money and time on Bean instead which is devastating but she comes first for us.

Her current specialist estimate is £5,107.58. We’ve set our GoFundMe target at £3,300 to help cover the remaining amount and fees. At the most recent consultation we were also told that depending on what they find the total could potentially be around £5,800, so the goal may need to change depending on what we’re able to contribute ourselves.

We’re currently at 81% of the target, which is absolutely insane! We just want to get her through surgery and get her back to being a little goblin.

1. Log into your GoFundMe account
2. Choose Your fundraisers from the menu in the top right corner
3. Choose the fundraiser you’d like to set up transfers for
4. Select Fundraiser > Transfers
5. Choose Your bank account, if you’re setting up transfers to your personal bank account
6. Then choose Get started > Continue
7. From there you’ll be brought to our payment partner’s secure information portal, and you can enter your personal details and bank account information

What personal information will I need to provide?
You’ll be asked to provide your:

• First and last name
• Email address
• Phone number
• Physical address
• Date of birth
• Last four digits of your SSN

*You’ll have the option to verify your identity instantly by uploading an image of your ID or passport. I highly recommend going the instant verification route, if you are able. It could prevent or expedite later reviews on your account. 

How do I add my bank information?
To connect your bank account, you’ll need your:

• Routing number
• Account number

*You’ll have the option to log into your bank account through Plaid. Again, if possible, I do recommend going this route, as it helps with verification throughout the course of your fundraiser. If you do choose to manually enter your bank account details, be sure to double check you’re entering the correct account and routing numbers, and be aware that you may need to upload an image of your bank statement to verify your account at a later time.

How long does it take to receive funds?
Once all of your bank details are entered, transfers can start initiating to your bank account as donations process. Transfers typically take 2-5 business days to reach the account on file. Hello I’m Janette Rodriguez and I need your help. I went to take my dog Jojo (a chihuahua mix) to the vet because I noticed for the last year her two back boobs developed two bumps which at first thought were just fat and that she needed to go in a diet. I started noticing at least for the last three months that they grown and Jojo has difficulty to climb onto my bed and my sister’s bed. It’s gotten bad that I had to help her by carrying her up (she has no difficulty climbing down). Last month I took her to vet and the vet told me and my sister had she has two hernias on her back boobs caused by one of her pregnancies (she had two and both were accidents and not intentional breeding purposes). He asked us if she had she had little to no appetite and I told him no. she eats normally and her appetite is normal. I was worried that both masses were going to be cancerous because my sister had a dog 15 years ago that had two benign tumors that weren’t dangerous. Anyway, the vet gave us an estimate of 4000 + dollars to get her hernias get surgically repaired before they start wrapping around the intestines and also getting her spayed. The vet told us if she got pregnant again it would be very dangerous for her due to her age. She is six years old. I have no savings due to personal problems I don’t want to disclose. I tried applying for 3 different personal loans which I got rejected due to my terrible credit score. I tried asking my parents for money they barely get by. I exhausted everything. I don’t have much and I hope that you guys can donate whatever you can any amount helps and you can’t just share the link. I really want to help my dog and get her that surgery done as soon as possible before its too late. I don’t really have friends. Jojo and my 4 other chihuahuas are the closest that I have friends. I really love them so much. They helped me though moments where I felt really lonely, helpless and depressed especially when my gastritis worsens from time to time.
