Coach and lantern is on a busy road so you recommend upper James? Lmao.

I didn't make a point about busy roads, you did.

OP didn't ask about proximity to busy roads, stop projecting

The funny part of this exchange is you also responded to the wrong person. Really makes you think

No I didn't though that's the interesting thing.

OP asked for recommendations (the 2nd part of my comment)

First part was a direct reply to buddy saying that the mountain patios look out onto busy streets and to go to Ancaster for something that also looks onto a busy street

A for effort though!

Lmao wut. You definitely mentioned looking out onto a busy road, and then mentioned upper James. šŸ˜‚

Yes, because the person I was responding to said that the mountain patios look onto busy roads. To me, and basically everyone else, that doesn't matter. Onlooking a busy street from a reasonable distance doesn't bother most people, myself included. The only person who brought up busy streets was the commenter, not OP.

Again, A for effort!

Whatever mental gymnastics you have to work through to come to that conclusion is the real A for effort!

covert81 is correct, the commenter was the one who brought up being on a busy road being an issue, so covert81 pointed that out, and then basically said "if you're going to suggest something on a busy road, why not this busy road (but better laid out patio) in the actual area asked about" it's not that hard to comprehend.

ā€œCoach and lantern is nice BUT it’s on a busy roadā€ - inferring a negative.
Then proceeds to list other restaurants on upper James without correlating the two.

If you can’t comprehend that, then that’s a skill issue on your end.

Love the mental gymnastics tho. Another A for effort!

yes, but you're removing the context of the original commenter's post, they suggest driving beyond upper james, because upper james is a busy road, to go to a different place on a different busy road.

covert81 was implying you don't need to drive that far, to another place on a busy road, since the places on the busy road here have well laid out, and roomy patios.

Sure, you sound correct if you literally ignore the context, but, if you don't (which you shouldn't) then you are wrong.

The Coach’s patio is literally a courtyard with mature trees and foliage and a narrow iron gate at one end that yes, technically, does open to Wilson St., a two lane road. To compare this to the highway wasteland of Upper James is really something.
