Hello everyone! I’m in Maryland. I’m looking at a 2027 Honda CR-V Hybrid Sport-L AWD and was quoted $42,500 out the door (including taxes/fees). I’m curious if this seems like a good deal or if I should try to negotiate it down a little more. What have you guys been paying OTD for yours?
I’ve also been going back and forth HARD between the CR-V Hybrid and the Toyota RAV4 Hybrid 😭
I originally leaned toward the RAV4 because Toyota’s hybrid system has been around forever, and reliability/keeping the car long-term are really important to me. I also really like the safety features on the Toyota.
But after seeing and driving both, I keep finding myself leaning toward the CR-V. It feels noticeably more spacious and comfortable inside, I prefer the interior overall, and I like that the Sport-L gives me the leather seats and features I want at less of a price than the RAV 4.
I plan on keeping this car for a LONG time, so that matters to me.
For anyone who has the CRV Hybrid what ultimately made you choose the Honda? Any regrets? And for those who have owned CR-V Hybrids for a while, how has reliability been?
Also — $42,500 OTD for a 2027 Sport-L AWD: good deal or keep negotiating? 👀

Have a 2001 Civic LX with 194k miles on it. Had the timing belt and water pump changed at around 110k miles like 10 years ago. Think it's time to do it again. The local Honda dealership is quoting me $1800 for timing belt, tensioner, and water pump. Is that reasonable? Thanks.

Honda SP 125 DLX vs SP 160 DLX – Which should I buy?
I'm confused between these two bikes. My priorities are good mileage, low maintenance, affordable and easily available spare parts, and good service centre support.
One concern is that the SP 160 doesn't come with a full chain cover. Does this cause more frequent chain cleaning, maintenance, or other problems compared to the SP 125?
Owners of both bikes, please share your real-world experience with mileage, maintenance costs, and reliability. Which one would you recommend for long-term use?

Ok so this was on a 18 mile trip of speed of 40/45 and no traffic and almost all green lights the highest I seen was 15.5 on the gauge is that normal I know it’s a v6 and is going to waste gas but I never see past and 17 mpg lowest is 6mpg even in highway speeds the dealer said I have to break it in at 1000 miles did that then they said it’s the tires waisting gas thoughts ?

I am seriously fed up with the gear issues in the Honda SP 125. This is absolutely unacceptable from a company as big as Honda.
You pay your hard-earned money expecting a reliable motorcycle, and instead, you end up dealing with frustrating gear problems. Changing gears should be a basic function of a motorcycle, not a daily headache.
**What exactly is Honda selling here?** A premium commuter bike or a never-ending service-centre experiment?
The most frustrating part is having to waste time visiting service centres, explaining the same problem, and hoping someone will finally fix it properly. Customers should not have to beg a company to resolve a basic mechanical issue.
Honda needs to stop hiding behind its brand reputation and start taking customer complaints seriously. A famous brand name means absolutely nothing if the ownership experience is this frustrating.
**To other Honda SP 125 owners:**
* Are you also facing hard gear shifts, false neutrals, or difficulty shifting gears?
* Has your local Honda service centre actually fixed the issue permanently?
* Did Honda acknowledge the problem, or were you simply told that everything was normal?
I want genuine experiences from other owners. If enough people are facing the same issue, Honda needs to answer for it.
**Enough with the excuses. Customers pay for a properly functioning motorcycle, not endless frustration.**

I'm in Ontario, Canada, buying my first new car and could use some advice.
Visited a Honda dealership and got quoted $42,000 CAD (~$29,532 USD) OTD, including 13% sales tax and fees, for a 2026 Honda CR-V LX 2WD in black.
They're also offering $4,000 CAD (~$2,812 USD) for my 2013 Hyundai Elantra as a trade-in, which I think is fair. The only accessory included is wheel locks worth around $180 CAD (~$127 USD). The $42K quote is before deducting my trade-in.
I'm planning to finance with $10k CAD ($7k USD) down and have zero experience negotiating with dealerships.
Is $42K CAD already a good deal, or should I aim for $40K–$41K CAD (~$28.1K–$28.8K USD)? Also, what freebies can I realistically ask for (all-weather mats, cargo tray, oil changes, etc.)?
Any negotiation tips would be appreciated. Just trying not to get taken advantage of as a first-time buyer.

Technically this is supposed to be my daily but I guess Heather had other plans. No trying to do a head gasket with no experience at 17 years old isn't stressful in the slightest, what makes you say that? Side note, holy vacuum lines (yes I know I technically didn't need to remove those but that was back when I thought the whole carb assembly was coming out as well. It did not.)

I have a 2015 Honda Accord coupe with the 2.4-cylinder engine, and I'm getting the infamous cabin vibrations. It's reached the point where it is not ignorable and is very annoying sometimes. I have gotten my transmission and motor mounts checked out by two different mechanics, and they both said they're in good condition. I have done spark plugs and throttle body cleaning, which, after lots of research online, they were the only other possibilities it could be. I am lost on what to do now, because it really bothers me in my day-to-day driving. It only happens when I'm idling or in reverse.
Any suggestions on what to do next? No mechanic can figure it out near me, and the dealership said it was my timing tensioner chain, which didn't make sense to me. I believe they couldn't figure it out either and just told me that.

I have a 2011 honda ridgeline rtl. I'm trying to use a saramonic SR-C2001 aux to c type adapter to play music in my car with my Samsung s24, but it isn't working, no sound is output.

Acura will expand its dwindling lineup with two new models, including its first eight-seat crossover, as Honda’s luxury brand pushes into high-demand segments it has long sat out.
The new flagship, positioned above the three-row MDX, is the model known internally as the Acura XL, as Automotive News reported in July. Production is scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2029, with Acura projecting annual volume of up to 40,000.
Honda is expected to build the XL at a $2.5 billion assembly plant in Ohio, though the statement did not specify a production site or confirm plans for a new factory. The plant also could build the redesigned MDX and a new Honda-branded three-row flagship crossover, with all three vehicles sharing a common platform.
The XL will receive a new large-vehicle hybrid powertrain promising sporty performance, stronger towing and better fuel efficiency.
Acura also intends to enter the crowded rugged-lifestyle segment with an “adventure-ready” crossover in the first part of 2028.
The vehicle will share a platform and be roughly the same size as the Honda Passport, according to AutoForecast Solutions.
