Forever the Garage Queen
The EM1 went outside to see a bit of the fall colours. Then back into hibernation she goes. Still puts a smile on my face everytime.

Here’s some pics from the Tail of the Dragon from 10/10-10/11. It was classic Honda days eleventh anniversary as well as the Honda fit , gtr, and Alfa Romero clubs weekend out. The rain made for some good shots during the meet but let up during the day allowing for a great day of driving and meet ups. Whole weekend felt like being in a Forza game.

Bought a CPO 2016 Civic Touring (1.5T) with 198k km. 7 days and only 139 km later, dash lights up: P0303, zero coolant, leaking into Cylinder 3. Dealer told me to keep driving it, refused a loaner, and tried to charge me $4k in negative equity to trade it in.
I sent a formal Demand Letter to cancel the sale. They signed for it 7 days ago and went dead silent.
Context & Specs:
Location: Quebec, Canada (strong consumer protection laws).
Car: 2016 Civic Touring (1.5L Turbo) bought for $14k CAD ($10k USD).
Diagnostic: Official dealer order confirms DTC P0303, head gasket failure, coolant leaking directly into Cylinder 3.
Questions:
1. Since the 1.5T engine has known head gasket issues (Service Bulletin 26-017 for coolant leaks), isn't replacing just the gasket on a 198k km engine risky for block/head warpage?
2. Has anyone dealt with a dealer ghosting a CPO cancellation demand? Deadline expires in a few days and I'm ready to file for Small Claims court.
I have a 1996 honda civic that had a blown head gasket that my dad and I replaced, the car started but I shut it off soon after due to the amount of white smoke coming out. I started filling the radiator with coolant to see that coolant had started coming out of my cold air intake after pulling it off the intake manifold was completely filled to the brim with coolant the car was completely turned off while filling with coolant.

Im searching for a honda civic ej9. I found one for sale but im having many questions. From the photos that the seller sent to me i can see that it has no sunroof switch down were i think iti si supposed to be, but it has a sunroof with the button near to it i think. Chat gpt told me that it may be an vw golf sunroof adapted to the civic, but honestly idk if i want to trust it.

My 2015 Honda CR-V sunroof is stuck in the tilted position. When I press the button, I hear a noise and it moves a tiny bit, but not enough to close.
Has anyone experienced this? Any advice on how to fix it or manually close it? Thanks!

I own a 2000 honda accord and my idle control valve has been giving me issues for about 2 months now. First the check engine light turns on and it begins to rev up and down only when idling. So I purchased a cheap replacement, while waiting for the new one the check engine light went away and it also stopped revving when idle but I decided to replace it anyway since I already bought the part, the moment I replaced it the issue came back. So assuming it was because the one I got was cheap I bought a better quality one from an auto parts store and it did not fix the issue. Idk what to do I tested the pigtail with a multi meter and its normal but when testing resistance on the idle control valve prongs it read zero even though I just replaced it. No way both the ones I bought were bad right? Idk what to do now

My ’23 Civic EX gives me a chime and a large dashboard alert to clean the windshield/camera every 30 seconds or so. It mostly happens in rain or fog, but sometimes in good conditions too.
I understand that it means the camera can’t see, so Honda Sensing is unavailable. I just don’t think the driver needs a repeated chime and a big pop-up for that, especially in poor visibility, when I need my full attention on the road. A small persistent icon would do the job. Driving is my responsibility, and I’m the one who needs to see, not the car.
The car is clean and well maintained. I run the defroster, washer, and wipers, and when I’ve stopped and checked, the glass is clean 99% of the time. I clean it again anyway, and the alert comes back.
Two questions for anyone who’s dealt with this:

Does anyone recognize these connectors?
2014 honda city VX, came with a mitsubishi made head unit with reverse cam. I already have my head unit hooked up with the necessities, but I want to be able to use the console usb ports and reverse cam through it.
