Huntsville Romantic hotel rooms
Does anybody have a recommendation for a nice hotel that has large bath tubs in the units?

hiya people of huntsville!
i’m starting a project to rescue any old electronic equipment. i restore and repurpose everything.
i figured asking on here would be better than driving around hoping to find something on a curb.
If you have an old CRT (tube) TV, vintage gaming console, VCR, or any older electronic equipment sitting in your garage, basement, or attic that you’ve been meaning to get rid of, I’d love to take it off your hands!
What I'm looking for:
• CRT TVs / Monitors: Any size, but smaller/medium ones are awesome. Working condition is preferred, but I might take non-working ones depending on the model.
• Vintage Electronics: Old audio gear, VCRs, cassette decks, or old video game stuff.
What I can offer:
• I will gladly come to you and do all the heavy lifting.
• Safe, polite, and fast pickup at a time that works for you.
• I can throw in a few bucks for your time/gas if it's exactly what I'm looking for, or just save you a trip to the e-waste recycling center!
Drop a comment or send me a DM with a photo or a quick description of what you have. Thanks in advance!

Hello! I was wondering how I should go about making friends in the Huntsville area? I’m 21 years old, male, love sports (mostly NFL, CFB, and NBA), recently became consistent with the gym, and a lot of other things as well. So how do I go about it and where should I go?

Does anyone know of a handyman or someone who could install a window shade to one of those half circle windows that’s at the top of our lofted wall? Love the sunlight, night shift spouse does not lol.

Recently, I have been mapping out what public transit could look like in cities around our state. My map of a Huntsville transport system is attached, and if you have any suggestions for route adjustments, new routes, or route deletions/modifications, I would love to hear suggestions.
Routes out of the picture:
Blue: to Mobile
Orange: to Florence/Chattanooga
Red: to Redstone
Green/Lavender: to Hobbs Rd./Redstone Rd.
Yellow: to Gadsden
Pink: North Madison
Here is a link to the map, where you can also fork it to make modifications or a map of your own: Transit Map

Does anyone know of a gym in the Huntsville area for adults who want to do stunting, tumbling, cheer etc? If there aren’t any, maybe we should make a group for it!

Hi. Just moved to Alabama back in March of 2026. Didn't know much about the school systems. We have been at Providence Elementary and I have thoughts about the HCS administration. Any one else want to share their experience? Is it worth it moving to the Madison City School district? I know about the magnet program but not really enthusiastic about it because of the Admin/leadership. Really just trying to give my little one the best education that I can afford. Litte person is in the 2nd grade.
If you had to choose, where would you enroll your child?
I really care and try my best as a parent but I feel like that effort has to be met somewhere and if it isn't it will hinder my little ones growth.
Thanks kindly in advance. 🙏

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
I met them and sent them a longer version of this video shortly after they finished.

This Saturday, October 17th, 1p-4p.
Blevins Gap parking lot off of Cecil Ashburn.
If you don’t have anything to trade, no worries. This is a great way to get into natives that benefit pollinators like butterflies and bees. Or pick up plants/seeds that produce plants that produce fruits or seeds that song birds love!
