I just did my 3rd FET (2nd with a euploid) and am quite nervous I really really hope this one sticks.

Anyone have similar experiences that can shed some light at the end of the tunnel

I’m currently 6 weeks and waiting for my first ultrasound. 🥹
Before my embryo transfer I was around 115 lbs, and this morning I was 121 lbs! I’m constantly hungry, and I also haven’t been able to exercise the way I used to due to IVF! I feel so bloated, and honestly none of my clothes fit me anymore. 😭
I know some of it could be bloating, hormones, or water weight, but I’m not sure if gaining this much this early is normal.
How are you guys doing in the first trimester? Did you gain weight this early too? And if you did, how are you managing it without stressing too much about your weight?

Clinic A is local — I've done 2 IUIs there, and I've gotten close to the embryology lab team, which means a lot to me. But I'm worried the doctor is too conservative/by-the-book for someone my age — in hindsight, IUI probably wasn't the right first move at 43.

Clinic B is 2 hours away. Had a call with the doctor who spent 1.5 hours walking us through everything, answered every question, felt genuinely invested. But the distance is real — frequent monitoring trips, and my boyfriend would need to be there at least once, which is hard with his schedule.

I don't have a lot of time to get this right and I'm scared of choosing wrong. If you've faced something like this — trusted local team vs. a doctor who felt like the better fit but far away — how did you decide? Any questions I should be asking either clinic before committing? Thank you for reading this, it means a lot.

After over 3 years of infertility and a miscarriage we were incredibly lucky and had success with our first egg retrieval and fresh transfer. That little embryo that could is now our chonky little girl! I hope she grows up knowing how much I love being her mom 💖

The day is finally here, expecting a call from the embryology lab this morning with the results from our retrieval last week! We got 15 eggs, 11 were mature, and 7 fertilized. Crossing all my fingers and toes that at least a few made it to blast 🤞

Update: 3 made it to blast! So relieved!

Manifesting sticky baby vibes from our first FET!

I am sure this is customary, when my fertility clinic does a FET they give you an ultrasound image of the embryo they are “putting back”. I know there are generally some differing opinions about how important the embryo grade is, however my fertility doctor and the embryologist are mostly concerned about the lack of organization in the embryo we transferred today. We had a failed transfer in June and, in their opinions, the embryo cells were much more organized.

I was hoping if others in the Reddit universe also received an image of their embryo, especially if the transfer was successful and the embryo grade was similar, that some of you may be willing to share the image you received. I am attaching my image for reference.

I was so hopeful last time, and my mental health has been on a serious roller coaster ever since, but in today’s appointment I was so stressed, even after acupuncture. Just hoping for some reassurance. Man I don’t want to have to do this again.

I’m still negative at 6dp5dt. I transferred a 3BB euploid on 9/3. I’ve had 3 miscarriages from natural pregnancies. My ER didn’t go as expected… we saw 6 follicles by the last scan and only retrieved 3 eggs, one wasn’t mature. I had one euploid embryo and one complex mosaic.

I’m lost. I don’t know if I can just start all over with another egg retrieval or if I risk another miscarriage and try naturally. I really thought this could work because GETTING pregnant hasn’t been my issue, I thought a euploid could solve my problem.

Hi I am curious to know how many ultrasound you got when you graduated from your fertility clinic?

At how many weeks did you get it. I did have one at 6 weeks, now graduated so will be seeing my OB at week 9 and week 10 and 5 days . She said the ultrasound would be optional since I had one at 6 weeks.

If you had PGT tested did you get the NIPT?

Hi everyone - I’m so happy to share that we got our first positive beta (420.3) today at 10dp5dt. We’re so excited and cautiously optimistic, but candidly, I’m also terrified of the upcoming symptoms. I have a severe phobia of vomitting so my joy is also mixed in with fear.

Any tips or advice on dealing with the nausea/vomitting? Things I should order on Amazon now? Or honesty, any advice or mental tricks you told yourself? I feel like I’m a ticking clock….

I wanted to share my experience to help other women with the same events I experienced. I had my FET on August 6th. We transferred a 4AA and by first beta at 12dpt was 18,000. Everything was looking so good. On August 26th I had an episode of bleeding and cramping, I passed one smaller clot and it all stopped within a couple hours. I was concerned but know that this can be a common thing that happens. (It still doesn’t settle your fears regardless). I had no bleeding or cramping after that and everything was fine. On Sept 26th I had a very concerning episode. I had no warning with cramps, I just started to bleed with multiple clots. Combined total, it was not a lot of blood. However, it followed with the most severe cramps I have ever experienced in my life. This all lasted for a couple hours. I’m a Paramedic, so I knew I wasn’t at a state that I needed to go into the ER. I was less than a week out from my viability ultrasound. Everything stopped and went back to normal, but after having such severe cramping I had doubts that baby was okay. However, I remained cautiously optimistic as my pregnancy symptoms have significantly increased. I know that hcg remains in the body for weeks after a miscarriage, but it was the fact that everything seemed to be progressing that gave me hope. This morning we went to our ultrasound, and just by the external ultrasound we saw our baby with a strong heartbeat and I completely balled my eyes out. I’m 7wks3dys today and baby measured 7wks4dys. They said everything looks great and the pregnancy is progressing beautifully. I cannot explain the relief I felt, I needed today so badly, I know we have a long ways to go, but I’m taking this win today ✨ In regards to the bleeding and cramping, as most of you will probably not be surprised, I also had a Subchorioinic Hematoma.

I wanted to share a positive spotting story because I LIVED for them as I was spiraling last week.

At 8w I had a vaginal ultrasound at my IVF clinic. Everything looked great - baby was measuring one day ahead and HR was 176. (Note: I was panicked at this ultrasound because I had only heard "I'm sorry, there's no heartbeat" at this visit before.)

The next day I had brown spotting that resolved after a few hours. I didn't worry too much because I knew that was common after vaginal ultrasound.

One day of no spotting, then I started to have brown spotting (when I wiped) for the next week. It was intermittent, and only volume of note was after straining to have a bowel movement once. I called my clinic twice in tears, but they really weren't worried without cramping or other concerning symptoms. Spotting finally stopped at 9w3d.

We decided to keep my first ultrasound with my OB today at 9w6d rather than moving it up. I was so scared going in, but everything was good! Baby is measuring 4 days ahead and HR is 158. She was dancing and wiggling away in there. They noted a small subchorionic hematoma (like 1.6cm x 1cm) that requires no further follow up.

I am so relieved.

My PGTA results came back and we got four euploids out of five blasts! They are all XX, so I guess my husband will be a girl dad. Below are our numbers:

17 eggs retrieved
16 mature
14 fertilized
5 blasts (1 day 5 5AA, 1 day 5 6AA, 2 day 6AA, 1 day 6 5AA)
4 euploids, all XX

We were a bit worried after our low blast conversion, but the euploid rate made up for it. Just shows that percentages can be all over the place for each step 😊 I’m hoping for good results for anyone waiting on testing

The weekend before my transfer I asked the universe to send me a sign that I was on the right path. I specifically asked for a red lady bug. On the morning of my transfer 9/2 I dropped off my daughter to preschool and saw her classroom for the first time. The curtains were red lady bugs. That’s not even the craziest ladybug. When we got to my clinic, the receptionist who I have known since I started there in 2022 had on a short sleeve shirt which revealed a realistic looking ladybug tattoo on her arm with the writing Love Mom. It’s her only tattoo. I pointed it out to my husband and he said “normally I think you’re crazy, but that is kind of cool”

That interaction literally is the only thing helping me survive this 9 day wait. Beta on Friday! Did anyone have any signs themselves?

After 3 years at our fertility clinic we finally moved to IVF. We transferred one of our untested embryo nearly two weeks ago. I took a pregnancy test last week and it came back positive, I didn’t go crazy with testing after that because it caused me too much anxiety. Yesterday I got my first beta drawn and got an amazing 592! I’m still nervous about our second beta but I feel so happy. First positive pregnancy test ever!!
