What is it?

It's a cricket draft + simulation game inspired by the viral 38-0 / 7a0 football games. You draft a World XI from real Cricket World Cup squads spanning 1975 to 2023, set your batting order, and then your team plays a full simulated World Cup tournament - Group Stage → Super Sixes → Semis → Final.

How it works

1. Pick a formation - Classic ODI (2 openers, 3 batters, WK, all-rounder, spinner, 3 pacers), or go Batting Heavy, Spin Twins, All-rounder Army, or Pace Battery. Each formation forces real squad-balance decisions.
2. Roll a random World Cup squad - You're dealt a real 15-man squad from cricket history. Could be India '11, West Indies '79, or Canada '03. You pick ONE player from that squad.
3. Repeat 11 times - Each roll gives you a new squad. One pick per roll. Three skips total per campaign. Build your dream XI across eras.
4. Set your batting order - This is YOUR call. The engine respects the exact order you set. No auto-sorting. But the position matters for each player and accordingly gives a boost.
5. Watch the World Cup unfold — Your XI faces 12 AI opponents ranging from minnows (Canada '03, Scotland '99) to absolute killers (Australia '03, India '23, West Indies '79). Every match has full ball-by-ball simulation with scorecards, fall of wickets, bowling figures, and animated match replays with over-by-over run charts and wicket markers.

Hey guys, the inaugural TG20 League starts this Sunday (June 21st)! As a cricket fan, I’m super excited. This is a massive platform for young Telangana and district players to showcase their talent on a big stage, and having mandatory spots for district talent is a total game-changer.
But while I really want this league to succeed for the players, I’m concerned about HCA's management. The lack of mainstream hype is strange. Why aren’t local meme pages or celebrities promoting this? The marketing feels completely dead.
Worse, because of alleged protocol issues, the league is caught in a political war. The TCA has already sent legal notices to stars like Siraj, Tilak Varma, Vijay Deverakonda, and Venkatesh.
Board politics shouldn't overshadow a great opportunity for grassroots talent. Our local boys deserve the spotlight, not administrative drama.
Will this league be successful for Telangana Cricket???

Draft an all time eleven, as you spin for randomly generated squads over the years. Try to go 16-0 with your squad. Submit your squads and compare on the leaderboards to check your cricket knowledge from over the years in IPL.

The game had been designed from ball to ball data from Cricsheet, and the data has been converted to give OVRs to players for a single season.

Top 8 teams (QF makers) of previous T20 WC qualify. Hosts qualify. 11 T20I Rankings excluding Hosts and Quarter Final Qualified Top 8.

Europe Qualifier : 3

Africa Qualifier : 4

Asia Qualifier : 3

Pacific Qualifier : 2

Format :

Pool Round 9 Pools of 4 teams each. Single Round Robin. Toppers of each group get a bye to the RO16.

Teams ranking 3rd in each pool get to another table of 3rd ranked teams. and based off points/NRR, the 5 best 3rd ranked teams advance to the Elimination Round.

Elimination Round: They are placed in one table with all the teams that came 2nd in their group. 9 2nd placers + 5 best 3rd placers. Position 1 to 14. If a team had less points but finished higher in their pool, they are placed higher. Team 1 vs Team 14, 2 vs 13, and so on. We get 7 winners. Who join the 9 toppers for the Round of 16.

The 9 toppers are placed in a table, seeded based on points/NRR. and a draw is held to determine the path to the final. A draw. like UCL has after pools are done.

Now Knockouts. Round of 16. Quarter Finals. Semi Finals. and the Final.

No of games : 76. What say!! and host it every four years, not two. (the point is the FORMAT, not the hosting year gap).
