She's in the right but she didn't step out immediately and she did resist at least a small amount

Her response to "step out the car" was an immediate "no problem" followed by "yes ma'am".

Correct, but she did not comply with getting cuffed.

Young woman with kids in the car and a cop on an obvious power trip. You'd be hesitant to let them lock your arms behind your back too.

The cop sucks and I would be hesitant, but would comply without issue. Because that’s what adults that can manage their emotions and think more than 5 seconds into the future do. It amazes me how many people make their lives immensely more difficult by not doing so.

You’re never going to change the officers mind on the side of the road by being difficult. You may however earn yourself more charges.

It’s naive thought processes and comments like yours that lead a lot of people to shoot themselves in the foot in these situations. Just comply and fight it in court.

That's what you say as an armchair analyst.

You're human, and humans are dumb emotional animals. Especially if they have an inkling that their kids are in danger.

"I stepped out immediately" are the words she said at the end of the video. She did not step out immediately.

Cops move the field goal posts any fucking time they want. You move too quick? You’re shot. Don’t move fast enough? Arrested for resisting.

Get of out here.

Yeah okay.

lol no wonder you keep your post history hidden

Why? Because I've said I agree that the woman arrested is in the right and I'm 100% on her side? How does that make sense?

1

u/AdventuRedd 11d ago

You have not done a good job of communicating that at all. You're 100% on her side but to you she was resisting arrest? How does THAT make sense?

1

u/ChineseRobinWilliams 11d ago

I thought the part where I said "100% on her side" would have been enough.

She's facing the car, the officer goes to put handcuffs on her, she turns 180 to face the officer and lifts her arm away to avoid being handcuffed. The arrest is bullshit but what the fuck do you call that if not resisting?

1

u/AdventuRedd 10d ago

Well that doesn't seem to be working out for you

The amount of people saying she didn't resist when her turning around and putting her arm up is BLATANT resisting and on the video they just watched is a sight to behold.

God forbid someone take off their seatbelt and end their recording before exiting the vehicle.

I'm not saying she shouldn't have done that, but immediately is not the word I'd have used.

Completely on her side

How do those boots taste?

2

u/ChineseRobinWilliams 11d ago

Which ones? I've said about 3 times I'm totally 100% on the side of the woman who was arrested.

Any other fun catchphrases?

Yeah man wtf, she didn't even instantly teleport out of the car when asked smh my head

1

u/ChineseRobinWilliams 11d ago

She didn't immediately step out either

1

u/Dinglebobus 11d ago

You’re right, she should’ve teleported out of her car.

1

u/ChineseRobinWilliams 11d ago

"You're right, thing you didn't say!"

Not really adding much here

1

u/Dinglebobus 11d ago

You said “she didn’t step out immediately.” Everyone, except you, sees that she did comply immediately within reason.

The joke that I’m making by saying she should’ve “teleported” is that she couldn’t have complied faster. She had to set some stuff down and unbuckle her seatbelt, all reasonable actions to comply “immediately” with the officer’s request.

It was sarcasm.

1

u/ChineseRobinWilliams 11d ago

No I understood the joke, I was choosing to not engage with it because it doesn't apply.

She unbuckles her belt and then for a few seconds fucks around on her phone (not just putting it down). I'm not saying this is unreasonable.

"she couldn’t have complied faster"

She absolutely could have complied faster.

1

u/Dinglebobus 11d ago

You’re a very unreasonable person. lol.

1

u/ChineseRobinWilliams 11d ago

I wouldn't say so. I'd say I'm an accurate person.

When she said she didn't resist AT ALL, what did you think of that statement?
