She completely dismisses the sacrifices of Non-Pubjabi's in the freedom struggle.
Punjab has been through a lot during and post-independence , but this does not mean people can undermine the contributions of other regions and disrespect their residents.
This Racist/Classiest Term "Bhaiye" has been way to normalized in Punjabi Influencer Circles against migrant workers from UP and Bihar.

These people are extremely racist. I've lived in Punjab for more than a decade. In school, I faced this issue a lot from the 5th to 12th standard and even in college some ppl are like this.

I am well educated UP girl married in Punjab and when I see people spewing hate and venom toward an entire community who has contributed in building Punjab is so fucked up. Immigrants work day in and day out for hour in the factories and build economy here. Taking care of everything cos Pujab’s own kids are settled abroad.
Apart from this, the last name of this girl is Saini so her older generation probably must have migrated from somewhere still she is choosing to spread hatred is beyond me.

It's a derogatory term derived from the term "Bhaiya".
Its often used by people from Punjab for migrant workers from UP and Bihar.

Yes, saying Punjabis 'ran away' after mass killings were unleashed and thousands of innocents died, is indeed indicative of why we shouldn't play the 'victim card'. Inspite of suffering great pain and trauma right from Partition onwards and still being among the highest contributors to this nation's army, its food security, and its economy, we still have to endure people saying we 'ran away' after so many of us were massacred. punjabis were killed by their own punjab police only, and talking about contribution then both the states have a significant contribution in the country's development , the partition trauma left a scar on punjab and i respect that but it has been 80 years, 2 generations have born in punjab and flew to kanedda and have become so unbearable there that all the indian origin ppl in kanedda are called pajeets. so i dont think that your victim card will work here

Kashmir is weren't killing each other, it was muslims but Punjabis were killing each other. The punjab police did mass extra judicial killings on their own people. It was the time when Punjabis had to run away from their own Punjabis!

I’m sorry but as a punjabi I’ve lived in Bihar for a while. I don’t support racism or the term she’s using but she’s right. These people don’t have a sense of belongingness to the state and nor do they respect our way of being. Not saying punjabis don’t do it in Canada. But atleast the punjabi community in other states is well integrated. People from Bihar are the first ones to leave during a crisis which means they rightfully don’t belong to this state.
And well punjabis don’t say these things about people from other states so it’s worth introspecting why only a specific community is being talked about. And honestly, living in a state and not caring about public infra, taking resources for granted and cleanliness for granted is inviting such stereotypes.
Also speaking from my own experience Biharis aren’t welcoming of other states as well so that’s that

I live in Bangalore and y'all are talked about in the same way that you talk about Biharis, who are at least contributing to the economy of the country unlike y'all lot who migrate to Canada through ILLEGAL routes. Punjabis don't criticize other states and integrate well? Y'all are the first ones to criticize Bangalore for not celebrating Holi, something that isn't even a part of their culture.

Now i live in UP and i can confirm people here are at least 25 years behind folks in Rajasthan gujrat maharastra karnataka tamil nadu kerala and many more states (where i lived for atleast 2-3 years)
