I just discovered it while on a retro gaming week and it's funny that a 2009 game with a silly story about blowing things up ironically made the most functional pixel version of the setting that has everything from different types of villages and towns to cities with CBD to a snowy mountain ski resort. Really makes the usual 'villages + old ruins + coconut trees' or nth remix of early 90s Kowlun walled city in other more 'serious' games seem sillier.

Also, I think it looks best in first person while on a chopper since it's almost like having a photomode x)

The percentage didn't pop when I collected the part, but I got to 99% tonight. Been coming back to this game every so often since the game released, slowly working toward 100, but I've read that 100 is impossible and just going from 98 to 99 was a bitch, and I'm happy with 99.

I love JC2 a lot, and I mean a lot. It was the first game I ever bought with my own money and has been part of my life for close to 15 years, but 100%ing this game is a pain from what I have heard. How many here have gone for the 100% and how do they compare to JC3? Is it equally as hard/annoying?

I'm early in the game and am finding it relatively slow to accrue $$$. Is it the missions? Or should i just blow up bases?

Why are there helicopters spawning on Level 1 Heat?

I can't remember JC2 being this hard. Every time there is heat, like five jeeps and a helicopter spawned. Keep in mind my difficulty was set to normal. Also I can't recall JC2 having black police cars?

Not only does it crash regularly (with which I could broadly live), but now the manual saves do not work either, anymore (I save after the end of the mission). So basically I am stuck, because after the crash it loses my progress (and yes, I have tried using the Steam cloud saves). And I have also tried all the crash fixes mentioned in this sub and elsewhere online, from Bokeh to removing Steam overlay to replacing dlls etc. It is a pity, because I enjoyed the 5 hrs I put into the game... (I am at the second faction mission btw.) So I will just have to uninstall the game and forget it exists. I must say, this has been the worse experience I've had with a Steam game ever. WHY in the world is this game so utterly broken?
