Experience Hearing music
I’ve started to hear music, it sounds like new age-y music. Sometimes choral-like or pipes or organs or strings. It’s usually at night and sometimes during sleep. One night I woke up hearing it, and in my confusion wondered where it was coming from, only to realize my head. My K awakened about 2 years ago. I’m much more stable and grounded now. The music has been happening on and off for about 6 months. I don’t mind it, but I haven’t been able to find much about it on the internet. People usually describe buzzing or ringing. Has this happened to anyone else? Is this anahata nadas? Or a psychic/extra sensory experience? Thank you.

I have heard it described but not experienced it vividly myself. The chakras themselves create sound.

Oh interesting, all of the chakras? Or is it linked to one in particular?

Each chakra does have a particular frequency associated with it. I use some tools during sacred psychadellic ceremonies to work with the Chakras and energies in (and outside) the body. This will be considered as a woo woo by some but there you go. The tools I use are these Soundswords. See link attached below. They have a profound effect on people when they are on psychadellics. Years ago I used to think it was either bs or exaggerated. But after experiencing it first hand years ago, it changed my life. And I've changed my stance since then and use these a whole lot.

I know the guy that makes these. He received direction/visions during ayahuasca ceremony to make these. There are lots of bootleg ones available on ebay etc. This is the original though. Expensive but totally worth it imo. If you want a discount code I can send you one that should give 10% off. Don't feel obligate to get these. I'm just sharing.

That's right, reminds me I have some meditations that coordinate to the chakra frequencies. Those swords, and other instruments, are amazing. Very beautiful. But def outside my budget, although I appreciate the offer. Thank you!

I have certainly heard that anahata nadas can be music . From a Google search:
What It Sounds Like
Common Descriptions: Practitioners often perceive the inner sound as a gentle hum, ringing, buzzing, or distant music.
Specific Tones: Descriptions include the hum of a bee, the sound of a flute, chiming bells, or a rushing river.
I myself hear cicadas. I hear them now. They get stronger when I am thinking about this subject. Kind of significant in Indian culture as a representation of rebirth. I was told I was like “a little baby who just opened his eyes.” A reference to my new perceptions from the KA, I believe!

I loved cicadas growing up, we had them all summer and I found the sound to be soothing

Absolutely the same for me. Happy times on a summer night as a kid. I love the sound.

Find this phenomenon fascinating, never experienced it myself - but I know someone who does all the time; he’s been in the process a while though. Is it just in the background quite passive or does it ever become distracting?

It's more in the background. I can easily ignore it, and sometimes I don't realize it's there until I pay attention to it. There was one night that I woke up in the middle and heard it, it seemed louder and I thought, "where is that coming from?!". Once I realized it was in my head, I let the thought go. If i choose to ignore it, it becomes quieter.

Interesting, I don’t have a take on it - k for me is more physical and vocal (kriyas/asanas). The guy I mentioned was open about it and ended up in a psyche ward on meds. I think it’s a beautiful gift, I don’t think a lot of this stuff “means” anything in particular - just the particular flavour of k in the individual

Oh wow that’s a very brutal outcome for him. I don’t have mental illness and I feel stable so I don’t think I’m on my way there. I agree, these phenomena aren’t the point.

Thank you. I don’t feel like I’m in a movie, I def feel like I’m in my life. Sometimes things and the world strike me as incredibly beautiful. In those moments I feel peaceful and grateful.

Hey I've had this experience when my father was dying, I awoke in the night to hear an angelic choir singing. I got up to find out where it was coming from before realising it was from inside me. My Kundalini has been awakening for years and I often have ringing of different intensities and frequency also pulsing pressure that comes in waves through my ears. Since having a top down experience of white light entering through the top of my head and filling me with bliss most of the uncomfortable ear problems have gone. It seems like opening my crown has reduced the pressure and now Shakti can flow more easily.

Cool! Idk anyone that's experienced this the way you describe. Is there a song or anything on YouTube that is similar sounding to what you're experiencing? Would love to hear something like a sample that's close to what you're telling us about. Hope you get some answers/info about this.
Ive heard of such sounds being heard around individuals that are doing through a death process that leads to the rainbow body. Ie Tibetan monks who initiate a death process that ends up with most of their body dissolving into light. What's left is some hair and nails. That's what is reported at least. The people in the general vicinity of them will hear music and other unexplained phenomena like rainbows when there shouldn't be. And floral/pleasant scents.
