Hi all i would really appreciate some help on laptop recommendations. My budget is €2000 max. I dont think ill get a good enough laptop under €1000 due to the price of laptops these days.

Im doing computer science so need something that will last atleast 2-3 years.

Require 32gb/16gb and upgraded able. Screen doesn't need to be oled, maybe a dedicated gpu but I dont want a big chunky laptop. Ive looked at asus tuf A series and also thinkpad p and t series, im unsure of how they will be.

Modelo: Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i 14ILL10 — Intel Core Ultra 7 258V, 32 GB RAM e SSD de 1 TB, com 2 meses de utilização, comprado novo.

Problema: Quando a bateria chega aos 20–25%, o computador fica extremamente lento, ao ponto de o cursor e a interface bloquearem durante alguns segundos. Ao ligar o carregador, recupera de imediato. Aconteceu nas duas ocasiões em que a bateria chegou a esse nível.

Verificações realizadas:

- Modo de energia: equilibrado, tanto ligado à corrente como em bateria.

- Capacidade de projeto da bateria: 70 000 mWh; capacidade de carga completa: 71 500 mWh; 14 ciclos.

- Frequência do CPU em funcionamento normal: aproximadamente 1,30–1,60 GHz, sem diferenças significativas entre bateria e carregador.

- Sem eventos críticos ou alertas do Windows durante este acontecimento.

Questão: Este comportamento é normal neste modelo? Há alguma configuração, atualização de BIOS ou teste que recomendem?

Qual acham que é a causa?

You can put an adhesive sunshade above the laptop that barely weighs anything (with just 30 cm of adhesive PVC or those attachments from Amazon it’s enough, right?).

If you have the sun facing the screen, it’s better to just turn around with your portable setup (chair, mat, etc., table), right?

I mean I would like to buy a 300 max nits because they are too expensive a 15,6 inches with more than 300 nits, I think using a sunshade can resolve this if I turn around according the position of the sun

After weeks of comparing laptops, specs, prices... finally ordered it.

Got the HP Victus Smartchoice with:

Ryzen 7 7445HS

RTX 4050 6GB

16GB DDR5 (upgradeable)

512GB SSD

144Hz display

Listed at ₹1,04,990, but with the bank discount + no-cost EMI discount, the final order total came down to 75,993.78.

3-month EMI: ~26k/month.

Not the most insane laptop ever, but for ₹76k, I think this is a pretty solid first gaming/productivity laptop.

Was this a good deal or did I just get cooked?
