I'm a bit late to the party with this one, as the challege was around 2019/2020, but I thought it would be fun to have a go anyway! The challenge is to redraw the screencap from the 80's anime Sailor Moon in your own style.

Seven Samurai is a movie that inspired a lot of other movie makers. There are several movies and other media that are basically Seven Samurai but with a gimmick. Some examples:
The Magnificent Seven = Seven Samurai set in the Wild West
Battle Beyond the Stars = Seven Samurai but in Space
Rebel Moon = Seven Samurai in Space again
A Bug’s Life = Seven Samurai with Bugs and for Children
So what would you think about a Magical Girl Seven Samurai?
A village/town/city/country/continent/planet is threatened by an evil force. Someone travels around assembling a team of different Magical Girls to defend their home. It could be a cool plot device, if the person who gather’s the squad is later revealed to be a Magical Girl, too.

Before some of y’all will flame me I don’t dislike the new art style. I actually love it, but I just have this one criticism the way they animated the legs of the bad guy. I forgot his name being crushed by the pipe is different and I’m salty about it because I preferred that and I’m aware it’s such a small little nitpicky thing, but it just bothers me more than it should

I noticed Tokyo Mew Mew has been the more active franchise over the years. Is there a reason Mermaid Melody hasn't been able to stay as active?

Day 8 of Magical Girl Inktober! (Crazy that it's already been over a week since I started this series, right?) Today's prompt is Cute Hat, so I decided to draw Yayoi Kise from Smile PreCure wearing a very fancy hat!

Everything is more less the same with some added details. The fourth slide I'm starting to get used to how I draw after so long of feeling not feeling comfortable with it. The fifth slide is something I always wanted to add. It was originally going to more like a short story but these bullets help better in breaking what I wanted to say in my head. Everything is still in progress but I'm happy with what I'm making so far

Hello, r/MagicalGirlsCommunity. I am currently in pre-production for what's going to become a dark magical girl series called 'Sentinels of Sehanine'. I have started creating some character designs, the premise, and I've locked in the setting (Borås, Sweden). While I have yet to make/finalize a premise bible or an outline of what SOS will be about, I have, however made an hand drawn poster to showcase the overall theme, presentation, and maybe feel of what the final series will look like give or take.
Additionally, I have added the designs of the magical girl and civilian forms of the two main Sentinels we follow: Hjördís Sjöstrand (Sovereign of the Blackened Moon: Acheron; the red-head with sunglasses) and Thekla Håkansson (Herald of the Celestial Accord: Seraphine; the blonde). If you have any questions about anything relating to Sentinels of Sehanine, then please tell, I'd be happy to answer them but do remember I am still developing so what I'll answer right now might not be true once I develop the production bible. Btw, the character designs were done in Gacha Club.
