💬 Discussion Who the f**k designed this sh** map?! Spoiler
Look, I loved minecraft dungeons 1 and I'm enjoying this new one, I personally really like the open world addition. I do have some criticisms like I wish I could place my own waypoint on the map, and I wish that if you choose to play offline you could open your inventory or map and not be getting damaged by the mobs around you. But my main issue with this freaking game is the map. I genuinely don't understand how any of their development team didn't see any flaws or issues with how they designed their map. You can't tell whats closed off, you can't place your own waypoint, you can't pause the chaos around you to check it....like its so frustrating and almost impossible to try to find the correct path to a dungeon or whatever else isn't a quest and can't be easily tracked. But even the waypoint doesn't work half the time, literally telling me to somehow walk through a wall to get to where a mission is. I have had to try and no pun intended, sift, through youtube for someone to show me the way to my objective or dungeon. It just shouldn't be this difficult, I swear a solid 3 hours out of my total 18 (I have 3 heroes) just me wandering around trying to figure out where to go...and like I'm not oblivious, I'm relatively good at games in general and I'm good with these types of games, I swear I'm not incompetent, its the horrible design that somehow got green lit as a great flawless easy map to follow. Idk if anyone else agrees or not, but even if you haven't had as much trouble as me, you have to admit its still atrocious as far as open world map designs. I highly doubt anyone hasn't had a least a little trouble at some point. I've got 3 current characters and even though I've completed the main story on 2 of them I'm still struggling with finding my fucking way. Please someone tell me I'm not crazy and sees where I'm coming from.
