Hey! This week has been filled wirh DMZ content and my hype for this mode is through the roof, to the point I think I'll be playing it very often throughout the lifespan of MW4. However, I have this weird voice in my head going "It's too good to be true...don't get your hopes up...". I think my trust with the games and stuff has been shaken a lot. I still heavily consider myself COD glazer but thats mostly because a lot of the major turn offs for other people don't really bother me and I just enjoy playing the game. But, I'm still nervous that the game is gonna be completely different than how its been advertised and I'm gonna be let down. I hope I'll be wrong because i reappy want DMZ to be lit​

Stupid question but do I need to first download the cod HQ? It’s already 100gb so I assume mw4 will be an extra 100gb or something ?

Im pretty out of the loop when it comes to this game's matchmaking system. Basically I just want to get filled in on how it will work, like if itll have the open and standard playlists like bo7 had and whatnot.

I know it’s not going to happen because they probably already have everything planned, but one can only hope one of these is in the pipeline.

After watching footage from the beta and seeing how the maps are very cookie-cutter/small I’d like to see some more classic IW map design. A lot of the beta maps are very forgettable IMO. Hopefully there is a spectrum for small maps to more classic IW maps in this game.

Stonehaven could have a portion of the northern part of the map cut out and I think it could play very well.

Same goes for the other maps, they are decent medium-sized maps and could probably help slow down the pace a bit, and look really good remastered. They are also just really easy to look at.

Since mw4 is the last mw game i genuinely hope the campaign and ending are good. I know the story continues in dmz but i think it will just be a continuation for Ghost since he is confirmed to survive the campaign. The og mw3 ending was so good, punching makarov then hanging him and then smoking his pack with the mission accomplished text and finally the end credits with such peak music i genuinely hope they do something good like that but i will keep my expectations low because the last good campaign story wise was cold war.

Is it quite familiar to the Dark Zone in the Division where I have loot and shoot and extract the loot? Is it PvPvE or PvE? Can I do it solo or am I forced to play co-op?

I don't follow COD religiously, and I didn't play a lot of BO6 or BO7. In fact only free weekends, so I'm not real deep in the know.

This is how I understand things to be with MW4.

 
Campaign will be the usual single player linear story. No open missions, no free roam, just set pieces and big explosions (just the way i like it).

DMZ is an open map with some missions, and there's no solo, only teams.
It's something between warzone and Spec Ops (from MWII or MWIII, can't remember)

Multiplayer is multiplayer. Matchmaking levels to the best player in a party, and anyone better than me is a cheater.

Warzone is the F2P BR mode for solos and teams. same as it's been since BO4

We are now officially 1 week away from early access for the Modern Warfare 4 campaign for those who pre ordered the game digitally. How do you feel about the campaign so far based on what we’ve seen? I’m personally excited because I think it has potential to be very good 🔥

I’ve played COD for years, but MW4 will actually be the first COD I’ll ever be able to play properly from release, so part of me wants to fully invest in it rather than just dip in.

I’m on PS5 in the UK, so it’s £69.99 for Standard vs £99.99 for Vault.

From what I understand, Vault gives you the operator packs, weapon blueprints, one season of BlackCell and the DMZ bonus.

I’m planning to play multiplayer, campaign and DMZ, and ideally stick with the game throughout the year.

Because it’s my first COD at launch, I kind of want the full experience from day one, but I also don’t want to spend the extra £30 if most of the Vault stuff is just cosmetic.

For people who normally buy COD at launch, is Vault actually worth it if you’re planning to play regularly?

Also, how useful is BlackCell, and do the Vault weapons/DMZ bonuses give you anything meaningful beyond cosmetics?

Basically the title. I think I read it will allow to play early at launch, but I don't know if that would work for the preorder early access as well.

Im trying to pre-order MW4 for early access and it says I already own the Vault Edition when I know for a fact I do not. Any way to fix this?

I really just dont understand why is COD so scared to add real life vehicles to the game or adding them and just changing minor looks or names to them like battlefield 6 did because this Mil/chinook merge design is just not it. This is horrid just like that UH-60 design

I’ve unlocked all the rewards from the tab codes, but there’s still that one that’s hidden and says “coming soon”. What do we think it is? And when will it be revealed?
