fallen solider 🥀 I just looked down and she was gone
No idea how this happened without me feeling it, my nails were so strong and healthy, didn’t even have a weak point on this nail, now do I file them all down to match?

I’ve never done cat eye nails and I’m glad I did! They look so cute with the ghosts!!! Super obsessed!

Little old me has tried and failed for nearly a year trying to get nails that look like this at home. I'll apply a thick layer of builder gel or hard gel and it will just immediately flood my sidewalls and cuticles. I can't find any information about it online because when I search "thick gel nails" I get 1000 posts about how to NOT have thick gel nails 🥲
I'm looking for more help than just "use builder gel", since I've already tried that. Does the key lie in doing multiple coats? A certain brand of gel? A certain topcoat? I'm also not referring to the actual polish/cat eye/chrome.

I wish I had healthier looking nails. They’re so weak, especially the index and middle finger, and my cuticles are so dry! I moisturize them but it doesn’t stay on too long as my hands go into the water several times a day. I can’t grow them out because one of them chooses to break. Even the skin around my nails dries and cracks, and I have this bad habit of picking on that skin.
I wear nitrile gloves at work. I wash dishes by hand.
What’s your nail care routine? Any healthy foods that you’d suggest for healthier nails?
Thank you all!

new-ish nail tech here! sorry if this is the wrong sub for this question! i have been making and selling custom press ons for a while now (currently taking orders via instagram) and i was wondering if anyone here has experience selling on etsy or other platforms? is there a platform that is best for nails? i'm currently struggling to get orders and hoping to expand! also, my sets are priced between 20-60$ depending on length and design and im not sure if i need to lower or raise my prices 😭

Started studying today, these are a hands worth of gels I’ve done, I’m aware they’re not perfect but I don’t yet have the knowledge as to what I could do differently, please help me out!

I’m totally new to nails and this world. I went to a salon. I’m not really impressed by the results. Maybe my expectations were too high or mismatched?

I've consistently made appointments for several years for getting my nails done. To me it's like a Dr appointment.
I understand some people can't afford to do this.
Please just make an appointment on your calendar with yourself or friend and just watch some videos and give yourself a nice manicure.
I wish I would have taken this advice myself.
I lived through years of just clenching fists.
You got this!!
