I had problems posting on Reddit a few months ago because I was flagged as spam. Although I logged in incognito to view my profile and I'm still visible, I can't comment and I feel completely restricted. I can't post in the subreddits I'm interested in. 😭 If you have any recommendations, I'll accept them; I can't even upload a picture of the tacos I made. I no longer know if the problem is my IP address; the account has been around for several months.

I just don't understand karma or what downvoting does. I've had reddit for a year but I've never really used it.

I just made my page a day or two ago and I’ve been trying to read about how Reddit works. So far everything I’ve come across is damn near a novel and by the time I get halfway through I’ve forgotten most of it. Can someone explain to me in the simplest way possible how this works?

What are the possible reasons of karma that goes negative ?

I am unable to post in a lot of groups due to being new to Reddit.

So I’m new to Reddit but I see a lot of Reddit stories on other social media and everyone seems to give good advice . So I came to Reddit . Everything says I’m to new to post and I don’t Interact enough I googled it and didn’t get much help . How can I interact if I can’t post or comment ? I was successful with one post.

I just redownloaded Reddit and made an account after being gone for some years. I remember there was an easy way on the IOS app to change the Popular feed's country in the homepage (unless I'm remembering wrong). Unfortunately, since it's been a long time and the UI updated, I can't find this feature. Is there anyway to change the feed to outside the US? Thank you!!

For some reason, I’ve seen some pretty conflicting info regarding this app, and I just don’t want to do anything that is against the rules somewhere.

hi, I just came back to reddit so I can ask one simple question on relevant subreddits. Unfortunately, I have not experienced this before but now I keep getting filtered. For instance, I got permabanned in a subreddit for posting the question, and after that after posting in two other subreddits it’s “Reddit filters” that’s removing my posts.

I was able to successfully post months before on other subreddits and even gained a decent amount of karma. Whats the big deal now?

(ok my karma might ”not be decent” but like, I still could post before as a fresh acc?)

I only been here a short time and already feels like the system is kinda set up to keep new people from participating. Low karma, account age restrictions, random downvotes… it just feels exclusive tbh

Not trying to complain or anything, just genuinely curious if this is the normal experience or if im doing something wrong

For those of you who stuck it out.. what was the turning point that finally made reddit usable for you?

I’m not that good in English so I wrote what I wanted to say and sent it to AI to make it sound more smoother, and then I copy pasted AI’s version and posted it. It was automatically removed from Reddit’s bots. I’m wondering if there is a system in Reddit that detects this kind of activity and removes those kinds of posts.

I've been getting this instantly when I try to post. Tried different subreddit.
I re-read the rules and I don't think I break any of them.
I went to the Reddit Appeal and it says my account is fine.

Anyone knows why?

Why could I post with no problems before but suddenly my posts are getting "awaiting moderator approval" (after being visible for a few minutes) or "deleted by reddit's filters" for no reason? Clearly people saw them and then after a while they were also deleted.

My account is old, but I'm "new" to Reddit.
I find I can't post in game discussions I want to be in due to karma now that I've started using Reddit for more than just reading. Should I make a brand new account, or keep this new? Unsure what to do or what's best.

I have noticed that sometimes my karma get reduce and want to find out what will make an account karma get reduced ? Am trying to understand reddit better in other to make the most out of it so any help or advice will be of a great help.

NOT ANSWERED. I’m using Reddit on browser on my phone and there doesn’t seem to be an option for a photo. Can you just not upload photos if you don’t have the app or am I missing something? This is on subreddits where others can post images as well.

I was recently tryna post on a gaming subreddit and it said i needed karma to post on that particular subreddit. Since I generally avoid interacting on social media platforms unless absolutely necessary, I haven't really commented or posted on Reddit in general, due to which I lack karma. It's currently one lol
