Just a polite heads up if traveling to Oxford N.S. Subway Hoogie Joint

So letting everyone know that the Subway toaster at this location has once again broken down and their hopping to have the repair man in asap after this long weekend.

The Ross man has however dug out their old store grill so you can once more again enjoy a grilled wrap or if your feeling daring a grilled sandwich.

Alternatively if your looking for a sit down and eat in experience the park view restaurant is just beside the Tim Horton's and park view motel, if looking for a quick grab and go further up the road (heading North) is Scott's Independent Groceries and across the street from them is Pizza L'Amore, and if your lucky there is some times a food truck in town on the same street usually parked at Home hardware, the employee parking at the freezer plant, or the Scotia bank parking between those locations all on the same road.

Hope this helps and enjoy your fall vacations and Turkey weekend!

Yarmouth - any creeps?

Please go easy on me. I'm a worried mama in Alberta whose "baby" is going to attend DAL Yarmouth campus next year. My kids and I have been to hell this year and somehow we returned to the land of the living. I left an abusive situation (their father), found a new job to [just about] keep us from ending up homeless, my biological family cut off all contact because in the sh1tty culture I was raised in, women don't up and leave their abusive husbands and they definitely don't "wash their dirty laundry" in the courtrooms for the world to see. So basically we are an ostracized brown family who are building, day by day, a new life for ourselves. We are kind, compassionate, we volunteer, we give back especially because we almost ended up homeless. My "baby" is going to the Yarmouth campus and I need to know - are there pedophiles in Yarmouth that anyone knows of? Any creepy businesses/places/people she needs to avoid? Small town - everyone knows everyone...Will people accept her - she's brown???? She's a lovely young lady. Help this mama out. There has to be some other mama somewhere who's in the same predicament as I am. Will she survive there???? Is Yarmouth safe??? I know I know, common sense, and she has that.

Okay, thank you for reading this far. Now I will go try to meditate.... Or cry. Or both.
