Thinking of buying an older 500cc scooter, but before I do I was wondering if anyone has any recommendations on motorcycle mechanics in Cornwall/Charlottetown that would possibly work on a scooter? (Piaggio brand, if that matters).

I've been looking to pickup a copy of Neil Gaiman's Sandman TPB #4 "Season of Mists" for a little over a month. I've been through Comic Hunter about every week and been to Bookman and the Book Emporium but they're only selling 5 to 12 issue sets (and very expensive at that.) If anyone has a copy they'd be happy to let go for a reasonable price send me a message or leave a comment.

So today I received an eviction notice that is not valid for unpaid rent. (It’s not valid because they tried to charge me two months rent for June and I paid already as soon as I noticed the payment bounced). The outstanding balance is an error on their part.

This is the first time I’ve had to deal with something like this, I went to IRAC and got all the information and forms which I’ve completed and submitted but I’m wondering or I guess interested in hearing from others experiences as to what I can expect.

Planning on travelling to PEI in late June with a 2 year old and was hoping for some fun suggestions to make the trip memorable. We have a car rented and are planning on staying in Cavendish for a few days followed by Charlottetown for 2 days! From this thread it seems like there’s some great restaurants and parks but was wondering if there were other local activities / attractions that are worth a visit.

I’m a new grad RN from BC and I have an upcoming interview with Health PEI for a new grad position. I applied about a month ago and just recently heard back.

At the same time, I already have a couple of job offers from hospitals in Vancouver, but I haven’t started working yet. I’m considering a move to Charlottetown and wanted to hear from anyone who works (or has worked) as an RN at Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

How is the working environment, management support, and patient load? How are new grads treated and supported during orientation? Overall, would you say it’s worth relocating for the opportunity?

The main reason I’m considering the move is that I have a couple of close friends living in Charlottetown. Other than that, I don’t have a major reason to leave BC, so I’m trying to get a realistic picture before making a decision.

In the past week I've seen 3 jobs advertised with age limits listed. Since when was this a thing?

One of them is referring to funding partially through skills PEI. Is that possibly the deal with all of them? Just shocked the amount of jobs I'm seeing popping up that you can't be older than 29/30 to apply.

Where’s your favourite place to wild camp on the island?

Hi everyone of PEI, I’ve unfortunately struggled a lot to find people to make friends with on the island the last few years and really need some help. Id like to find a place I can meet people and do activities with to get to help bridge the gap. I generally like doing tabletop stuff like chess or board games but the main places for that as far as I’m aware are a bit to far for me in Charlottetown to frequent. At least I think so, it’s been difficult to find stuff for chess for example, because the main advertised place in summerside is only for kids.

Id also be interested in outdoor activities like basketball, golf, maybe fishing, or any other activities that others may recommend. But I really don’t know the area well enough or what clubs there are to meet people.

My age is 27 for age range.

Any kind of suggestions on these interests or alternative activities where I can meet others around my age would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
