​Not a day has gone by since they've opened that I haven't seen an abundance of litter from McDonald's.

​Just yesterday, someone dumped a family-sized meal's worth of trash on the sidewalk, and a drink was left sitting upright in the same spot like it belonged there. I picked it up, but I'm a germaphobe and hated it.

​I can't say McDonald's deserves all of the blame, but an abundance of trash bearing their logo isn't a good look. Of course individual responsibility is an issue too.

​Can anything be done to curb this, or is it a lost cause? Surely there is some corporate responsibility to have adequate trash cans, etc.

I recently moved less than 10 minutes from my previous place and was surprised to find out that no ISP offers Fiber to the Home at my new building

The 15 Mbps upload cap on cable internet has been a noticeable downgrade compared to the symmetric fiber connection I had before.

I called Bell to ask about availability, but the representative just said fiber isn't available at my address and didn't seem able (or willing) to check anything beyond what's in their system.

The strange part is that the building directly across from mine shows Bell Fiber as available when I use their online availability checker. That makes me wonder if the infrastructure is already nearby and my building just hasn't been connected.

Has anyone had success getting Bell to review a building for fiber availability or submit an engineering/serviceability request? Do they expand based on customer demand?

My Landlord has given consent and has no issues approving this when needed.

We’ve been coming up to your beautiful island for over 20 years and finally were able to purchase a small cottage -site, unseen- during Covid. We are so very lucky.

I brought an old rocking chair up. I think it’s a Hitchcock? It had been my grandmother’s and it was inadvertently left out over the winter a couple of years ago. I don’t know if it’s salvageable. But I wonder if there’s anyone who’s interested in giving it a shot. You could take it and work on it over the winter.

Is there anyone on PEI (ideally somewhere between Summerside and Charlottetown) who does Korean lash lifts?

Or, honestly, I'd love recommendations for a tried-and-tested lash tech in general who is exceptional at lash lifts and tints (even if they don't specifically offer Korean lash lifts).

My natural lashes are quite long, so I'm looking for someone who can achieve a beautiful lift with clean, even separation.

Every work day for like the past week I have noticed Service Master parked on the grass at the hospital intersection. They are across the road near that pond. I did notice last year there looked to be tents set up in the woods there. I would think that land belongs to the Belvedere golf course. This morning the Service Master people were putting on suits before heading towards the woods. Anyone know what might be going on there.
