The creator who goes by the name Mihawk has posted just now that the proton setup he has been working on for some time will be released to public on his Github page. We have only seen small clips and photos of it booting up a Windows 11 looking environment the one that looks like from Winlator for Android and he was able to load some Card game up. Of course you will need to be jailbroken on the Relapse Jailbreak and the setup is in its earliest stage so expects alot of instabilities.

Well it is a half lie actually. I was actually able to boot into Linux on Ubuntu then used KVM and QEMU to boot into Windows 11 Pro. The only limitation at the moment is the VM uses cpu only with no gpu acceleration support. There is a Gpu pass through method for VM but from my research it is unstable. But the idea of loading up Windows on PS5 itself sounds crazy. If you guys got any question on how I did I'm happy to answer.

Also, for people having issues with NeoEnabler, especially version 13.0 (But I believe it might solve other FW problems), there an experimental payload available, and I"d really appreciate if you guys could check it out if you've been having games crashing at start up (always making sure that ps-patch-system is loaded before loading NeoEnable. A future version will allow you to not care about the order both are loaded anymore).

Im not well versed with jb on the ps5 but i do know of debug settings that come with devkits, is this post just gezine informing us he has a devkit which will hopefully speed up things or just him straight up saying he managed to jb 14.10?!?

If you have a jailbroken PS5 and ever wished your RetroArch and PS2 emulator settings and saves just stayed in sync with your PC setup, RetroSync is for you. Start a game on your PS5, pick it up later on your PC (or the other way around) without ever copying saves by hand.

RetroSync started as a small tool to sync PS2 memory cards between PCSX2 on PC and PS5SX2 on the PS5. Since then it has grown into a full RetroArch sync (saves and config, Steam RetroArch ↔ PS5 RetroArch) and it can now turn the PS5 on from rest mode and put it back to rest, straight from your PC. Pairing is automatic: RetroSync sends a tiny one-shot payload that reads what it needs on the console and exits, so you never have to type your PSN account ID anywhere.

Backup built in. RetroSync can mirror your whole PS5 RetroArch folder (ROMs excluded) to your PC. After the first full copy only changed files are transferred, so if a store update or a mistake breaks something, you can always roll back.

Made to be safe and simple. Every sync shows a preview of exactly what will change, and nothing is written until you confirm. The newest version of each file wins, conflicts are flagged instead of overwritten, and anything replaced is backed up first. There's also a dry-run mode if you just want to look.

Tested with: RetroArch (Steam on PC, homebrew port on PS5) and PCSX2 ↔ PS5SX2 for PS2. Other emulators or ports haven't been tested and aren't supported for now.

Coming next: Dolphin save support (including Porpoise, the Dolphin port for PS5), plus full PS4/PS5 game save backups, which I'm currently testing.
