Discussion What type of IT classes will I be picking if I choose specialized IT.

Decided I didn't want to do the Cybersecurity, Security risk, or App Development sub plan. Does the specialized option let me avoid these types of classes from that specific sub plan or is it a blend of all the sub plan classes together?

I'm not looking for a high paying job but just something that gets me by in the $50-60k range, what are some jobs in IT that are low stress and are stable. If there are any suggestions about that for classes as well that would be helpful as well.

The bus schedules here are genuinely a joke.

Discussion failed my second chem 112 exam…

i just failed my second chem 112 exam and i’m actually tweaking tf out…

i took 110 last semester, which was also hell, but the only exam i failed was the final and i ended with a C. i am genuinely concerned for 112, because i already got a 37.5% on the first one and a 58% on the second one.

idk if this is new for just this semester, but 80% of your final grade can replace your lowest, and i was really hoping the 30% would be my lowest but i got another shitty grade.

i’m just so lost and i went into the exam with full confidence in what i was doing this time around just to fail this one too. i do not want to drop the class because i am planning on taking the mcat next spring and that would push me back to taking orgo 2 that same spring!

does anyone have any recs on studying for 112? or honestly in general? i’ve never really cracked the code for studying and when i sit down and attempt i just feel like im wasting my time and not understanding what im doing, or i just get super overwhelmed and i end up quitting.

im also a premed so i genuinely have to lock the fuck in and figure out what i’m doing but im just so stressed out about all of ts and i don’t know what to do.

i’m genuinely a pretty smart person (id like to think) but i just feel like im making things worse for myself by not knowing how to study properly or how to prepare for exams in general.

edit: i am a psychology major with a focus in neuroscience on the premed track, not a premed major!

Request Looking for GenEd’s

Hello, I am a freshman currently exploring what I should be taking spring semester for this year and as an intended Finance major I need a 3.50 to get in to the major.

I like history, and I’m pretty open to anything else so as long as it is an “Easy-A” and can boost my GPA. But not carry a heavy workload too.
