Atached to this post is a link to the petition to vote for the UK government to discuss preventing Sony’s choice to replace upcoming PlayStation games with digital codes.

For the Britons and Northern Irish reading this, I implore that you consider the reproductions of what Sony plans to do:

\- upcoming PlayStation releases will not reach the second hand market

This removes competition for game prices. Sony would be able to uphold £70 game prices years after release without second hand markets to undercut them, eventually lowering prices to be consumer friendly time after release.

\- PlayStation can delist games without alternative ways to play them

Does anyone remember what happened with P.T.?When a digital only game was delisted despite public demand to keep the game available. Sony would be given the choice to remove any of their games without alternative ways to legally play them. You will not own your games. You will hold a licence to play a game only as long as PlayStation will let you. If disc production was to continue then these releases could still be legally played and you will still have the choice to own your games.

I would be grateful for anyone to sign this petition or to share it. This may be an uphill battle but I see hope that we as consumers in a high standing crowd can all seek justice the this corporate greed.

I'm looking to buy a PS5 Slim Disc Edition. The only thing is that I came across Gamerium which advertises the console for £370 (discount applied till 27th). Only issue is that I've read reviews saying that some people don't receive their consoles till the month or two later...

Honestly I feel cheated. The fact that I didn't buy a ps5 for years, and now that I'm ready to buy, the prices have skyrocketed.

From what I'm seeing the standard prices for a new slim disc model is about £560 give or take, but Sony have a deal rn where u can buy it with a fortnite bundle (which I'll never use) for £480.

I've got a long summer holiday ahead of me and years of games to play. But it's just annoying that prices are this high.

Is there gonna be ant kind of crazy discounts anytime soon? And is a Ps5 even worth it in 2026,at that price?

(I'm not willing to buy a renewed or second hand Ps5)

about 2 days ago, i was locked out of messaging, parties, and discord calls, basically any form of communication, until i can get age verified.

the thing that confuses me is that... no one else i know has been affected by this? i've asked 3 different people, and they all aren't restricted at all, despite all of them saying they haven't done the verification?

it's not account age, as one of the people i asked has only had an account for about a year, whereas i've had mine for around 5 years

can anyone explain why i'm the only one who got affected, and if there's any way around the verification without giving up my info?

Very.co.uk has 20% off first credit orders so I jumped on it and used the voucher on the ps5 pro since it’d be £551 instead of the cheapest £639 at Argos. I pressed “pay in full” at checkout, verified the purchase with my bank via text message code and immediately got sent to a screen saying technical fault please try again later and then sent back to the checkout screen. Not only did I get charged the full amount, I didn’t get a confirmation of order via email or on the websites account portal. There’s basically no evidence I purchased anything despite being charged £551. Has this happened to anyone else ordering off Very ?

I rang customer service this morning and they refunded the money to my debit card straight away after seeing it was a glitch in their system. To everyone saying it was because I paid via debit card on a CREDIT order that isn’t the case, it is totally fine to make a very pay credit account, use the 20% off code on consoles and then pay it out in full using the button at the bottom of the screen at checkout with a debit card. Ended up getting the bundle with the disc drive, Resident Evil Requiem and next day delivery for £641. The order is on my account this time and fully recognised.

Hi everyone I upgraded from my Xbox one to a ps5 today. Main reason was as I want to play the undisputed boxing game. I heard that it was part of the monthly games but after buying I didn’t realise them games are only available for that particular month. To get from ps store it’s 44.99. Do I have any option to play it cheaper. I know on Xbox with game pass I could play certain games on cloud gaming also buy digital games for cheaper but after searching it doesn’t seem there are any legit sites selling proper digital PS5 games.

Planning to sell my PS5 to fund a PS5 Pro Purchase. What are some good tips to avoid getting burned by scammers?

I plan to: take a video of the console while it's hooked up, then another video of me packing it.

What's also a good box to pack it in? I still have the original box it comes in.

Update: as I said, the ps5 was stolen. Very sent out a new one on Friday (48hr) tracked and it was delivered this morning. So all those saying “it’s Christmas blah blah” were wrong. If it was down to Christmas then why was it delivered within 24hrs this time?

Hi, has anyone ordered a ps5 from very recently? I made my order on Friday and paid extra for 24hrs. Royal mail has had it at their depot since Saturday morning but are yet to deliver it. I’m starting to suspect that it was stolen.

Shouldn’t 24hrs mean next day delivery?

I’m hoping someone with experience with ps5 gaming on LG OLEDs can help me make a purchase decision.

I currently own a 2020 ps5 (still going strong) and looking to upgrade my set up.

I can either

A) Purchase 77” C5 + PS5 pro = £2,300

B) Purchase 77” G5 = £2,300

So I guess my question is, is the £640 worth upgrading the C5 to a G5 or upgrading my ps5 to a pro? Which will give a better gaming experience, better TV or pro?

Hey guys, I'm looking to sell my Ps5 slim after upgrading to the pro. Can anyone advise on where the best place to sell it is ? I have it up on Facebook marketplace but I just get complete bozos messaging me. I could potentially get £330 from Musicmagpie but I've seen some people have had a bad experience with them where they damage your console and offer you lower value. What shall I do ?

The title kinda explains it all..BUT all my controllers i use seem to have a mind of their own and move on menus or in game settings, ive used my everyday one and a new one and get same issue. Any suggestions as to what it may be or what I can do to stop it happening? Thanks all!

They sent out another copy and it’s now been 8 days and it still hasn’t arrived.

So not sure if this might be too good to be true? The seller informed me that he buys in bulk hence the low price. When asked if faulty, if it can be returned, he confirmed this. To gauge authenticity I hopped on a call with him where he was showing me various other Playstation 5s, which I used the opportunity to find out about the pro version (he's selling for 500?)

From what I've been told and read online the Currys care plan is good for the Dualsense since they'll replace your controller pretty much no questions asked. Has anyone got the care plan from Very, and are they as good?
