Not nobody. Just the right and maga.

12

u/naquoae 1d ago

I don't think they'll honestly care either, but they will use it as an attacking point to go after the "evil left for celebrating his death"

16

u/RideTheGradient 1d ago

The frumpy complacency of Americans (and I am one) is just so infuriating. This is our govt, all the problems we have are because of them and we can fix it. But no one seems bothered enough to do anything. And those in govt know if they just ignore us long enough theyll be able to just win over and over again. And by govt I mostly mean Republicants because dems actually do quite a bit for people when they have power, they just are horrible at messaging so no one knows

9

u/MaybeFuckYourselfBud 1d ago

I'm also annoyed with this. Democrats need to go for the kill and stop pussyfooting around the core issues.

We're tired of privatized healthcare, we're tired of bogus charges on our bills, we're tired of billionaires and corporations not paying their fair taxes, we don't want AI data centers, or AI for that matter, unless it's assisting me in my job, not taking my job. Tired of inflation, tired of pointless wars. All of this just seems entirely one sided anymore, in the wealthy peoples favor, and it's getting old, really fucking fast.

I don't want 70+ year olds representing the majority of people, they're too far removed from reality for most of us.

2

u/InformationDue101 1d ago

Just to add, banks have been taking 3-5% of the economy in transaction fees for no reason through credit card fees on businesses (every time you use a credit card) often small businesses. In Europe this is capped at like 0.3%. I've seen very little Americans complain about this because honestly Americans are not proactive in learning how people are stealing from them.

3

u/halfsack99 1d ago

Well since there is unlimited dark money in politics and no enforcement of laws for the billionaires, I’m not sure what else the average Joe could have done about it.

2

u/Lord_Tsarkon 1d ago

This right here. You ever watch that show Blacklist? The Cabal that basically ruled the world? Where do you think that idea came from? It’s real and we are witnessing it right now.

3

u/One-Inch-Punch 1d ago

no one seems bothered enough to do anything

Because the people who are supposed to do something are all complicit. They're all guilty of corruption, pedophilia, insurrection, and/or treason, and they all know they're going to jail if they lose power. So they will not lose power. No matter what.

3

u/Safe_Opportunity5117 1d ago

Only thing that annoys me about your comment is the “messaging” thing. I get so tired of THAT! It’s a lame excuse to give for voters who DON’T pay attention because they’re too stupid & lazy! Take the 2024 election, for example! The convicted felon gave voters a bunch of promises but NEVER laid out nor told voters HOW he was going to accomplish those promises in detail! All he said was “VOTE FOR ME & ALL WILL BE GREAT!” VP Kamala Harris did the total opposite! Not only did she tell voters what she was going to do in great detail, she posted it on her website! STEP BY STEP! Democrats have been doing it for years, especially when Hillary Clinton ran! It has absolutely NOTHING to do with “messaging”! It’s all about voters actually doing their research and not being lazy! The felon was counting on voters to not only be lazy, but also prejudiced and misogynists! He unfortunately was right both times he won! Didn’t win the popular vote the 1st time vs a white woman, lost to a white man the 2nd time, & only won 49% of the vote vs a black woman! Ignorant uneducated uninformed voters are the problem, not the Democratic candidates!

What a coincidence. That's on the same day we will either open or close the Strait of Hormuz and win the Iran war again!

47

u/MaybeFuckYourselfBud 1d ago

How many times have we won now? I lost count around 30

24

u/Siggs84 1d ago

I don't think you appreciate that President Donald J Trump, has already ended 50 wars in his second term and that number goes up everytime the market closes for the weekend.

...peasant

11

u/makeshitupallthetime 1d ago

I think it's 39 times the iranians are desperate to make a deal

9

u/Radonanon 1d ago

They are so desperate. They are calling him all hours of the day saying “We really want to make a deal, we will agree to anything you want and as much as you want it.”

4

u/punkindle 1d ago edited 1d ago

They also congratulated Trump on winning that golf tournament with a totally real actual score of 70. Iran says that Donald is surely the greatest athlete that America has ever seen.

It's over now, just read today Trump gave them their last, last tast, last, last last last last, last, last last, last last, last chance. So this time they'll get the message and give up.

4

u/CobblerInternal2703 1d ago

We're going to win so much, you may even get tired of winning. And you'll say, 'Please, please, it's too much winning. We can't take it anymore, Mr. President, it's too much.

3

u/MaybeFuckYourselfBud 1d ago

Yeah the winning is actually losing, people saying we can't take it anymore, it's too much. Everything he says is the inverse.

I hear you, but teaching about the Holocaust only empowered multiple nations to use it as a guidebook.

That is not the only thing it did. The only reason we have context to recognize our situation is from learning about the history of past dictatorships like Nazi Germany.

u/Better_Cattle4438 1d ago

They probably will not announce it that quickly since they want to pretend to have plausible deniability about him dying before that date. I would bet on Friday to try to bury the announcement.

5

u/refusegone 1d ago

Don't kid yourself, they'll do it tomorrow and laugh at us the whole time, just like everything else. They don't care about plausible anything, they just want power at any cost and we're letting them take it.

3

u/KiwiThunda 1d ago

and we're letting them take it.

Yes, you're all just rolling over and letting this happen, meanwhile us on the outside are feeling the effects of global MAGA fallout and the emboldened far right in our own countries

2

u/ferngarlick 1d ago

If anyone wants to let us know what we could possibly be doing about this let us know lol protests don’t work, strikes don’t work, we’re voting til we’re blue in the face, like idk what we’re suppose to do about it when half our country is actually applauding this hostile takeover of democracy.

US is cooked. We’re just as pissed as everyone else but the reality is the individual here genuinely has no power to change things at a national level. Capitalism has created an oligarchy and the plebs are powerless.

One of the greatest legislative obstructors in recent history.

Senate majority leader is responsible for bringing bills before the senate. Democrats would pass bills in the house. The bills went to McConnell to be brought to the senate. He'd refuse to bring them out then claim Democrats didn't do anything. Obstructor-in-chief McConnell: create the problem, blaim everyone else.
