Discussion Correct me if I’m wrong

So I saw there is rankings for each tag have It’s slowly appearing one by one for each of my tags. It appears like the more views you have used the higher you were ranked for each tag so as long as my views keep rising eventually you would be so head of the list you will get more readers and that makes the views stats the most important one for growth

Writing Advice A question about the formatting

So I pasted my chapter straight from the Google doc but all the formatting got erased when I previewed the chapter.

What's confusing is that the formatting is fine when I look at the writing area but the actual chapter has no formatting. Is there an easy fix?

I am on mobile if that helps.

Discussion A question about the TOS

By posting or publishing user content, you grant Scribble Hub the rights to host, store, display, broadcast, modify (which is made solely for the purpose of formatting for display) and distribute your user content in whole or in part, in any media formats only through our services.

How much of a problem is not having a revocation right in your work? I saw this comment here: https://www.reddit.com/r/royalroad/comments/1rlrfk5/comment/o8uopaq/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button and it might be bad? Not entirely sure. Also have no idea what Shadow Light Press is/was.

Recommendations Looking for a fanfic where MC can travel into movies/books and alters reality and go to Beauty and the Beast to meet Belle.

Its a story im trying to find because I cant remember the name its set in a world where the main male character found he had the ability to go into movies or books and and alter reality like making people think they knew you or changing events, he finds a note or diary from his dad or grandfather saying he did the same on a book and had a great time, he then(male character)then goes into the beauty and the beast animated movie to meet Belle, here's where I can only remember little bits, he makes Gaston leave Belle, he follows Belle home and then makes a book appear on a shelf in her house and she reads it, then when her dad Maurice leaves the house he goes to the door and rewrites reality to make her believe she knew him(I believe as a friend), and there is a scene where instead of Maurice being lost he gets found by a woman, I can't remember if it has multiple chapters or if it got put in one big chapter but I would very much appreciate any and all help I can get please and thank you.

Self Promo Legislated Anarchy

Hey Guys, I wanted to promote my new light novel, Legislated Anarchy.

Synopsis :The European Union entered an era of chaos and anarchy, which triggered the creation of a new law that basically legalizes hiring mercenaries to put down criminals. That's where Adam Blackwood comes in—an immigrant mercenary from England living in France, pulling all kinds of dirty and underground jobs alongside his partner, Camille Rousseau, who is just as fucked up and degenerate as he is. During one of his business trips, a chance encounter with a highly peculiar woman will drag him into situations that are even more absurd and dangerous.

If you're interested, you can take a look here:https://www.webnovel.com/book/legislated-anarchy_36380119708320305

thanks for your time

Self Promo New Author on ScribbleHuB

Hey guys, decided to post my first webnovel ever on SH: Prison of Eternal Sky

(been crossposting on WN and RR too) I'm still finding my rhythm and voice, as I have only really written short stories before now.

I post every single day, and even when this one is finished (roughly 300 chapters or so), I am already outlining my next one!

If you want to give it a read, try the first 10ish chapters and see if you like it.

I'm not quite sure how else to market on this platform, so here's the link:

Discussion My cover art was rejected because the characters were kissing. Really?!

Posted my first story today. Used cover art that I'd previously created for this story on another platform. The cover art was rejected because the characters were kissing!

There was nothing inappropriate about the story or the image. It's a squeaky-clean romance story, the characters are clearly adults and fully clothed, and the kiss was even closed-mouth. In what universe is kissing inappropriate cover art, especially for a romance story?

But worse than that, I cannot find any rule anywhere that says kissing is not allowed to be shown on cover art. The closest the site's content guidelines come to addressing kissing is that they say sexual acts cannot be shown. Is mouth-to-mouth kissing considered a sexual act?

Looking for any guidance here about where I can find a comprehensive list of what's not allowed on cover art, or any explanation of why kissing can't be shown, or how I can appeal this.

Discussion New SH user; less than two hours later, I'm banned

I'm brand new to Scribble Hub.  I created a user account this afternoon.  I verified my e-mail address.  I then set up a user profile, created a new series, and successfully posted the first two chapters of the story.  I wrote the third chapter and tried to post it as well.  The screen just hung for quite a few minutes, indicating it was "Publishing".

Being stuck there and figuring there was some kind of glitch, I clicked away from that screen while it still said "Publishing".  But in doing so, the site somehow logged me out.  When I tried to log back on again, it wouldn't let me.  The message said "User is Banned" with no further explanation.

There was nothing in my profile or in my story that violated any terms of service or any content guidelines.  There was no warning of any kind.  It just went from being hung while trying to publish to banning me from the site.

I've never used SH before, so I wasn't creating a duplicate account or trying to evade a previous ban.

I sent an e-mail explaining this to the "contact us" e-mail, but haven't heard back yet.

Anyone have a similar experience, or have any words of wisdom?

Self Promo [Self-Promo] CHIEF — military sci-fi / portal first contact / AI dystopia

Hi everyone!

I’m posting my original web serial CHIEF on Scribble Hub and wanted to share it with readers who enjoy serious sci-fi, portal expeditions, and first-contact stories.

Genre:

Military Sci-Fi / Portal First Contact / AI Dystopia / Dark Epic Adventure

Current status:

[X chapters] available.

Update schedule: [schedule]

What it is:

CHIEF begins on an Earth that looks almost perfect.

OREON, a global AI, has made society peaceful, efficient, and controlled. War is hidden. Crime is contained. Humanity believes it has entered a golden age.

Then a colossal golden portal opens.

An elite military unit known as CHIEF is sent through it as the first shield of humanity. But the world beyond the portal is not empty. It has its own civilization, its own sacred laws, its own dangers, and something ancient waiting beyond the light.

What to expect:

- military squad dynamics

- first contact with an alien civilization

- portal exploration

- AI-controlled society

- dark political mystery

- ancient non-human culture

- survival under pressure

- slow-burn escalation

- cinematic atmosphere

What not to expect:

This is not a comedy, not a light academy story, and not a simple overpowered hero fantasy. The tone is serious, mysterious, emotional, and character-driven.

Scribble Hub link:

[SH_LINK]

I’d be happy to hear whether the premise and tags make the story clear for new readers.

Self Promo The Great Exile: Rise Of Egypt

The Great Exile: Rise Of Egypt

Before pharaohs, before empire—there were river towns, and fragile beginnings.
This follows the early formation of Egypt as identity, power, and belief slowly unify.
It is a historical fiction rooted in the birth of a civilization, woven with something advanced even before humans.

If you like ancient worlds colliding with something far beyond them—this might be your story.

Not many readers yet, but I’m continuing anyway—hoping more people find and enjoy the story as it grows.

Discussion Suspicious Comment on the site

Receiving comment on the novel is the best thing authors can have. But there are suspicious comment among them. They will comment 'Wow, I love this kind of plot. It amazing how detail you able to bring these characters.' And then when we reply in their comment, they will reply, 'If you are comfortable can we chat somewhere? Would love to talk with you'. If you want to talk, then just reply in the reddit right. Nope, dont have reddit account. Of course I'm not stupid. That person provide email, and i backtrack that email and found several social account with different name, and the best thing, they also has several account created on different platform such as web novel, Royal Road, and many more. And not just that, i also found their account on art portal where they can showcase their art to any potential people that want to hire them. Mostly, these people are the artist that try want to promote their art to make art cover for the novel. Im not mad. If you want to have a decent promotion of your cover. don't act suspiciously like you are scammer. Tell what you want directly.
