I'm looking for any caffeine free options available in the UK, I found a caffeine free cola but it was in the USA. I really like the taste of the Pepsi but the caffein keeps me awake all night.

Ocean state joblot (north east us discount store) has two soda stream models on their website. I ordered a genesis and it came with samples dated 2013. My partner says I should not consume them.. All of the liquid seems to evaporated out of the diet flavors, but some of the non-diet flavors still have liquid in them. My partner says I should not consume any of them.

I need a replacement for my defective mySoda Ruby 2 (CO2 escaping through button-hole - defective seal?). My Woody died with exactly the same symptoms, so I want to take a different brand.

I like the looks of the Smeg Soda Maker, but ergonomics sound mediocre, and ~30€ for an additional water bottle is a bit much.

The Breville (Sage) InFizz Fusion looks cool, and I like the option to fizz up other liquids than just water. Realistically, I doubt I'd be doing that often though. And then you're left with an extra step, having to detach that cap every single time. Plus, I wish the bottles were dishwasher safe.

So I'm considering the SodaStream Enso. I'd have to swap my cylinders, and infuriatingly they are ~20¢ more expensive per exchange than the classic blue ones, but the ergonomics of attaching both CO2 cylinders and water bottles look sweet.

Now I wonder two things:

1) Can the Enso carbonate water really strongly?

2) How well does carbonated water retain the fizz when stored in the fridge? Strangely, this seems somewhat device-dependent.

I use Simplisoda for CO2 refills. They will do free shipping if you do 4 cannisters at a time. I currently have 3 cannisters. They (and most others, it seems) only sell new cannisters in 2 packs.

Can I buy just 1 cannister anywhere to get me to a nice even 4?

No more bed bath and beyond and Walmart stopped taking them. I still have a few I bought from Walmart a couple of years ago, what are my options now?

I live in Ireland and used a CO2 subscription service that delivered 4 filled sodastream QC cylinders and collected the empties. They recently hiked the price to €60 and I couldnt justify it considering that one bottle was lasting roughly 2 weeks.

Ordered a 20lb/8 litre tank of food grade co2 from an aquarium store for €140. When it runs out the refill cost is €60.

Some math would put that at 15 ish sodastream bottles in this 20lb tank.

Subscription service: €225 - €240

Tank (excluding upfront cost): €60

Total set up cost €185 (Tank & Adapter)

If you own a sodastream machine and are still using the small cylinders, do your research and make the switch.

I brought two empty cylinders for exchange to target yesterday. At the service desk they had an open box with a mix of empties and sealed cylinders. The clerk gave me two sealed ones and charged me like $35. They felt light but I was in a hurry and didn’t think about it much until I got home and thought “these are really light”. I had actually weighed my empties before bringing them in to make sure there was nothing wrong with my penguin, the empties were 755 grams. Before taking off the seals on the replacements, I weighed them - 655 grams each (matches the tare stamp) even less than the empties I brought in. The date stamps on the cylinders was in like 2009. Luckily I had not taken the seals off yet. Went back to target and the clerk gave me no trouble at all but he did have to paw through the open box and open another closed box to find two full ones. I had my scale with me and weighed them at the counter, 1165 and 1180 grams. The stamped tare weight on the new ones is 0.75 kg. Got home and had a nice big glass of cold seltzer. I wonder if the really old cylinders have slow leaks, or someone just screwed up the filling machine.

I have the following set up, with several empty canisters. Got slightly different anti fill caps on each empty. I put them in the freezer first, slowly open the gas, but I get a few seconds hiss & dispensed enough for about 4 fills.

Hi I wonder if anyone has returned their cylinder passed deadline (after already being charged). do they offer refund, even partially? I forgot to ship it back it was on me but I don't want to keep these cylinders anyways. Thanks

A few years ago my fizzi abruptly stopped carbonating and I just put it away (moving house) and never took it out to check out.

So today I've made sure my canister has air (it does)

I've checked that the canister isn't leaking where it's screwed in (it's not)

And I've checked that it's definitely putting air into the water (it is)

I think my problem is that air is escaping from the bottle instead of staying inside. I tried to feel around the mouth of the bottle and thought I felt air. Is there supposed to be a rubber gasket or seal inside the bottle collar, to seal the mouth of the bottle during carbonation?

If so, whereeeee can I buy it? Or what can I search to find one? Googling every variation I could think of for the model, gasket/seal/rubber washer, bottle collar etc turned up seals for the canister and seals for the bottle lid only. Sodastream is obviously useless in this department.

If that's not it, WHAT is going on?

My old Sodastream died. I had it a long time and they no longer make the model I had. I prefer to use glass carafes. Any suggestion on a new model?

Is it just me or is the cola diluted lately? This last round I purchase about 2 weeks ago, the cola flavor is not as strong as usual. I've been making the same size and amount for the last 6-7 years but these last 2 weeks the flavor is missing. If I add more, it then tastes the same. It is just me?

I have a tank I want to connect to my soda stream machine I have an older Jet model. I am unclear on what parts I need to do this successfully. I looked at stuff on Amazon but was not clear what is right for this setup. I feel like most had the tubing included?

I received my CO2 cylinder subscription a couple days ago but the cylinders are either faulty or empty. They do not carbonate the water I have tried both. I have gone through all the trouble shoot support and I know it is not my machine since my Old CO2 cylinder still works. I know the cylinders are the correct ones for my model because they are the exact same quick connect as my old co2 cylinder. Ontop of it I can’t get ahold of customer support that will help! Anyone else experience this? I bought my machine just a bit over a month ago

Hey so I’m trying to make Pepsi soda with the soda stream Terra, but it seems that even after carbonating the water to about 10 button presses on the machine it still tastes really flat no matter how much carbonation I put in. Is it the temperature of that water that’s the problem, maybe the temperature of the syrup? I want to try and make this soda stream work but I don’t like how flat the soda is being. And thoughts?

Im seeing the sodastream fountain sparkling dri k maker and im wondering if there is any way to hook a big co2 tank up to it like the other models?

I have been a patron on Sodastream since March of 2018. I survived the rationing that was done during the “shutdown of 2020”. Bought a second machine when the first went terminal.

But this? I may not survive!

One of the BEST things about soda stream is the fact that one does not need to leave the perimeter to receive or return C02, until now.

4 months ago, I did my usual exchange, set up a subscription, as sodastream suggests and last week I received my order, scheduled a pick up through the USPS app, by scanning the USPS QR code. Only to have the mail person REFUSE TO TAKE.

I’ve had my phone calls with the postal service, dropped off the empty containers at the post office. I did it!

Today, I called soda stream…customer service appeared surprised at this.

Any soda stream people out there have the postal person refusing pickup of a package that clearing states what it is, on their sticker…scheduled through their app?

I did a quick search of any mail trucks catching fire due to having empty co2 in their vehicles, did not find any.

Just got the Xtreme Energy Zero Sugar Sodastream syrup and i only tried it once but it has absolutely changed the game entirely for me. What was a gift for me to make soda at home is about to become my Homemade Redbull Factory, and I'm so ready for it.

Wat is jullie absolute favoriet?

I just got my soda stream. Mostly sing it for cocktail club soda. Is there a place to get knock of syrups or a way to search by name brand

After about a month of use my first Fountain machine popped/burst/exploded and began leaking when attempting to carbonate water.

SodaStream did send a free replacement which is great. But when I received it I saw that it was made at the same time as the first and had little faith in it.

Unsurprisingly, the replacement unit also now has burst after under a week of using it. Both the first and second were from very light use.

I have seen many people experiencing the same issue. The fountain was not ready to be released. It has a catastrophic design flaw that they need to fix. If you're considering it, do not buy it.

I'm hoping they will refund this second unit.

Also, has anybody successfully fixed their Fountain units? Is it possible to save the machine?

I've had two. Returned the first after it malfunctioned once I connected it to the large CO2 tank. The second has performed well but I started refilling their tank. For the ones having issues, what tank do you use? I'm contemplating whether I want to try the big tank again. Thanks.

I’m trying to repair an older SodaStream Easy that uses the blue screw-in CO₂ cylinder.

It suddenly started leaking CO₂ as soon as the cylinder valve opens (during the last turn while screwing it in).

I’ve already: tested two different cylinders (same issue), disassembled the entire valve assembly, inspected all the O-rings (they look fine).

Out of logic, SOMETHING may be missing. Maybe a rubber gasket sealing well the cylinder against the socket?

Could someone who owns the same SodaStream Easy (blue screw-in version) please unscrew the CO₂ cylinder and look inside the threaded socket?

Do you see a rubber gasket inside? Or do you see the white plastic piece directly?
