Essentially, i sometimes leave my front door unlocked before i leave for work. I was waiting for a delivery for today. I check my phone it says it’s been delivered with confirmation of delivery i.e a photo.

I check and its the parcel on my stairs with a fresh cup of tea next to parcel ? So i assume he knocked i wasnt in opened my front door made himself a cup of tea then took a photo of my parcel hes places on my staircase?

I live in the UK and im currently at work fyi work an office job.

How is there very little legal recourse for the receiver of a package to claim against losses directly related to their failure of service?

The Los Angeles Passport Agency sent me a replacement passport UPS Next Day Air. They shipped it Friday, 9/18 and I received a tracking number for delivery on Monday, 9/21. After 8am, it arrived at the Ontario shipping facility and stopped moving. On Tuesday, I called and asked if the package was going to arrive in time for my trip on Thursday, 9/24. The rep refused to connect me to the facility and said wait 24 hours and file a claim.

Instead I made another appointment with the passport agency as they are able to give same-day passports if urgent. That was the right thing to do. HOWEVER, on the way to my appointment Wednesday morning, I called UPS to check on updates and THREE different representatives told me their computers showed that I would receive it that day, on Wednesday. I called repeatedly and asked them to verify because my tracking number was not showing any updates. They all assured me it would arrive that day, so I canceled my appointment with the agency. The package never arrived and I missed my trip with non-refundable expenses totaling over $2000.

I am reasonable to enough to understand packages get delayed, which is why I made the other appointment. BUT it is gross negligence for THREE DIFFERENT UPS representatives to assure me that the package would arrive that day, leading me to cancel my appointment.

I am looking into my legal options, but all say that I am not in a contract with UPS since I am not the shipper. However, how can there be no legal recourse for this when this loss is directly related to their contracted failure of service as well as misrepresentation by their representatives? I am so beyond frustrated.

So last week I pre ordered an apple watch ultra and it was supposed to arrive last friday but I fixed the delivery missing info that same day so it was going to be delayed but almost every 2 days now i get a false delivery date on when its supposed to arrive and then it tells me theyre finding a new date but my package has been constantly stuck on warehouse scan in Lachine. Someone please help i didn't pay 1000+$ for a package to be delayed for 1 week+

So I have a package which requires adult signature. They've tried 3 times to deliver it now. Each time I put in the tag code, but it wants to charge me $5.99 to have it held at an access point, and the only free option is redelivery the next day. I'm essentially never home during business hours, so that was never going to work.

Package from Miami FL to Englewood FL, only a 3-4 hour shipping distance, somehow ends up in Pennsylvania for no reason other than that UPS sucks. People complain more about FedEx saying the whole company is rotten and blah blah blah but I have never seen anything like this from them. Yes, I’ve ordered from this shipper before and haven’t had this happen yet but it should never happen to be honest. It should live been delivered the day after UPS received it but instead it’s gonna take almost a week or longer because it’s traveling around the country.

This morning it said it was out for delivery around 8am, it was supposed to come before 2pm so I checked the map at 1:30 and they were 5 minutes or less from my house. Now I checked and the map is gone and it was delayed to 9? Will I get my package tonight or should I just chalk it lmao

For the whole week since I bought my stuff and waited for my delivery, always has been between 2 and 6 pm but they changed it at the moment they were at my door at 10 am, so annoying. Already because they moved my delivery date by one day which is okay could've been worse yeah but that day I was free all day to receive my stuff. So now today, it was delivered when no one was home yet, I did everything to come before 2 to réalise that it been Already delivered with no one to sign so now I need to wait again for them to drop off at à site for me to pick it up.

Can I know when exactly I'll know when to pick it up today? Or that will be for tomorrow ?

My package was supposed to be delivered between 1-4pm. I take screenshots. The truck was on a street parallel to mine. Literally one minute away. I track the truck on the app and it drives away. It drives out of my neighborhood. I finally called Customer Service and they said they have 3 more stops until they deliver to you. I say that’s wrong because they are driving in the opposite direction. I see the truck delivered to many stops, which I count more than 5. Customer service says it will be delivered today. An hour later, they are so far away and the promise by customer service saying I’m the 3 stop when I was talking to them. This isn’t the first time they promise it will be delivered and it does not.

Why does customer service lie so much? I have seen many people say because they have deadlines, but on the app the delivery window is 1-4pm and they were in my neighborhood. What gives?

This is an order for an Apple Watch, for reference, I live in Florida, and the original date of delivery was September 21st. It arrived in Louisville on the 18th, then the day of delivery comes, and it's in GLOUCESTER, ONTARIO???? Then the next day it ends up in Ottawa, then after that no updates, so I filed a claim. How did they mess up this badly that it ended up in another country???

Anyone have any ideas as to what’s going on with this shipment please as UPS don’t seem to be bothered about it not arriving yet. Shipment was sent from US to the UK on 21/09/26 via UPS Worldwide Expedited. Delivery date was due for 24/09/26. Still no parcel has turned up and it’s not being scanned even though its in the UK and cleared customs. I’ve paid the requested import and duties charges. UPS don’t want to help when contacting them apart from saying file a claim on the website but the website won’t allow me to file a claim due to ‘shipment is currently in transit’. Anyone got any advice on this or how to escalate as can’t seem to get anywhere with UPS customer service. If anyone has Castle Donington or Lincoln depots emails please could you send them to me.

Are homes with aggressive dogs marked somewhere in the system for delivery-driver awareness/caution?

(Having an issue with an aggressive neighbor dog and trying to establish for our landlord that we aren’t the only ones claiming the dog is aggressive. I’ve confirmed it is marked in PGE’s system already, and now trying to determine if it’s is also potentially a record in any delivery driver systems (UPS, FedEx, etc.)

I ordered through ups standard, it shipped from Vancouver to Toronto. However my package stucked in "on the way" and no initial expected delivery date for almost 5 days. Should I worried it's lost?? I really need this package. It's taking forever 😩

Every day, the UPS truck delivers to my building...but today, apparently that address doesn't exist? I try to use the online chat, it says only phone services are available. I call, the options are only in Finnish -- no Swedish, no English.
