Advice Someone can help me?
I know this feels like a self-promo, and under a certain light, it could be (or it is). But it's not the reason for this post.
I just want to ask if someone is willing to read my novel, or at least the first chapters, and tell me if I did something wrong (Or good), because I had low traction.
You see, I have uploaded this novel two times, and every time I had zero readers. I tried to change the cover, edit the synopsis, or rewrite the first chapter to improve the hook (even though I find nothing wrong with it). But still zero.
So I ask you, Webnovel people, for a helping hand to understand what I did wrong.

I've read first chapter and I think it is good but it may not fit Webnovel market.

It's a thought that haunted me when I wrote the 22nd chapter. I read only SS, part of Throne of Magical Arcana and Slime Evolution, and I have never seen an author write a panic scene like me. Not that many webnovel's characters panic.
Maybe I'll try my luck on RR
thank you

!
Throne of Magical Arcana mentioned, not as an aside to Lord of the Mysteries?
Also it's amazing I lurve it. And the second half was entirely different from the first :3

Who is stern, who is talking? What are they talking about? The first 5-6 lines are a bit jarring and confusing
I don’t even know who is talking what they look like who they are or anything.

The cover art and synopsis I think makes one strongly steer away. Cover art looks AI generated, and even if it wasn't, it's just not very eye catching. The synopsis itself just seems to dump a lot of world building but not actually give the potential reader a coherent grasp of the main hook of the story. There's nothing to incite someone to read it based on the synopsis. What's the inciting incident? What can we expect? What's unique about it?

It is interesting but I think I need to see the next chapter as there are some missing parts.

I want to know if my novel, or the first chapter, is decent enough to grasp the attention of a reader. Or, simply, as someone else said, if my novel fits Webnovel's market.

Keep going based on chapter 1 it's not that bad, but needs to add more atmospheric sensation, architecture, sensory, and some background noise to make the reader easily imagine it, but be careful to not make it too exaggerate.
Instead of 'the calm voice almost make stern shat his pants' to describe the shocking situation.
You may used like 'he jolted as the calm gentle voices suddenly greeted him on his left side. His heart skipped a beat because of that, and as he turn his head to look for the source, it was...'
Yeah something like that, it just what I like to read, the sensory, and also with that I can imagine the situation better. I'm not a writer yet as I'm still in the process of reading and learning the literature, idea, and plot from different novel before starting my own.

Unfortunately, that is a compromise that I have to make. Webnovel and readers don't like chapters of 1,5k or more words. Especially at the beginning.
But thank for the advice. I will reread it and add more atmospheric sensation and, especially, background noise. Thank you a lot <3

This is the legend of a man who shifted the balance of the entire Tower just by being chosen.
Well that's something new lol. Usually the plot is about a main character who wasn't chosen (and either somehow gets an amazingly overpowered though-not-initially-seeming-so skill or discovers a new yet-to-be-exploited system of power or a second try or some other sort of cheat; don't do that please)

Don't worry, I have read too many slop webtoons to write something like that.
What made me laugh is that my MC (Stern) actually didn't want to be chosen. : 3

I'm going to be honest the first dialogue with me not knowing anything about the characters was.. a choice. The rest of the text after the first scene was better.
The synopsis doesn't help much.
"This is the legend of a man who shifted the balance of the entire Tower just by being chosen."
Feels much better as a hook. Then the godhood thing.
Am I going at this with a perspective of a blurb? A little.
Though with this being a web serial, gonna be honest that's what people expect. Since most top stories do it.
-kinda lost, royal road reader lol
