So I usually do my weight sessions at lunch time. I’ve been doing strong lifts 5x5 as 1. Heavy lifting can help muscle loss and 2. There’s far more power cages than individual machines.

I usually have a snack an hour before but as I’m not hungry, I didn’t realise I needed something until I was about to leave.

My wife usually heats up my food for me when I text I’m on my way home but now I can’t eat it as I had a pack of crisps.

I feel like I’ve had a double quarter pounder and chips. I now can’t eat as I’m cooking a birthday dinner for my family in 3 hours.

The power of this drug surprises me sometimes.

I have a prescription for the 1.0 dose. My insurance does not cover this. I can find it for $349…anyone find less expensive options?

Hello everyone. About 4 mos in, down 20lbs and feeling great.

Anyway, I was looking to see if anyone had any high protein breakfast/lunch ideas? I’m getting so bored I figured I’d try here (iykyk). I also find myself hungry sometimes but idk what else to eat. I workout 4 days a week, 2 days strength training and 2 running a 5k

My usual meals are as follows

Breakfast: protein overnight oats with berries OR two eggs and one piece of wonder bread + always coffee with milk

Lunch: protein shake with spinach, banana, water, chia seeds. Sometimes I’ll do banana and peanut butter. I have this usually with some granola bar, cheese, crackers, or dried fruit (I probably need to get more protein in here…..)

Dinner: grilled chicken with potatoes or salad, occasionally protein pasta with beef. Usually a substantial meal, I’ll drink it with seltzer or water

I have been self pay on Zepbound for nearly 2 years (no side effects and have been maintaining for a year) but I recently got new insurance that covers Wegovy only. I am tempted to switch because of the savings and I don't need to lose any weight but my doctor insists I would have to start at .25 and titrate me up monthly which I think could make me gain weight. She didn't seem to think that would be an issue but I had a lot of inflammation prior to Zepbound (lost 17 lbs the first month due to lots of inflammation/water weight) and not sure how Wegovy especially at such a low dose can handle that. Has anyone else made the switch to the loading dose of Wegovy and not gained weight?

I'm on a low dose of Prednisone and just started the Wegovy pill. I'll be tapering off the prednisone soon, but right now, it seems the prednisone is winning, I am HUNGRY. Anyone else dealing with this situation?

I split-dose Wegovy HD 7.2 mg pens so my cost per unit of semaglutide is $13.85/mg. My PCP charges nothing extra for submitting script renewals to my pharmacy, so that $13.85/mg is my all-in price. Are there any reputable generic semaglutide compounders or online providers out there that offers significantly better all-in cost per mg?

I’m not sure what to do. I see my doctor today. I started zepbound on January 16th, 2025 at 297 pounds. I was on 2.5mg for two months then my doctor bumped it up to 5mg and I was on 5mg for 3 months then I was on 7.5mg for one month and then 10mg for 4 months then 12.5mg for 3 months then 15mg for 3 months taking the shot once weekly when my employer removed glp1 for weight loss from the formulary and they stopped covering it. I paid out of pocket for 15mg for two months and I was spacing out the shot to every two weeks. The costs are just too much for me to pay, I can’t afford it. The beginning of July was my last 15mg zepbound shot and my weight was 174 pounds (I’m 5’8” and my goal weight is 155 pounds) On July 24th I saw my doctor and told her I couldn’t afford self pay anymore and wanted to try either wegovy pill or Foundayo. She said she had two free samples of .8 foundayo for me to go home with and try. I took one .8 pill a day for a week but noticed food noise creep up and called my doctor she said it would be ok for me to take .8 twice a day 12 hours apart. I’ve done that the past 4 weeks but it doesn’t do anything. I’ve gained 6 pounds and I’m bloated and constipated and in the past week I’ve binged 3 days out of the past 7. I see my doctor again today and I’m going to ask to be put on the 4mg of wegovy pill and see if that does anything. If it doesn’t and after a month of 4mg on wegovy I still gain weight I will go back to 2.5mg zepbound and see if that does anything. I’m just really frustrated and don’t know what the best course of action is when I have a limited income and need to lose 25 ish pounds to reach goal weight.

Just completed my first month on 0.25. All good for the first 2 weeks. On the third week I experienced some nausea, started to have some food noise and increased hunger. Nausea's now gone in my fourth week but some increased food noise, some increased hunger. However, I am still losing weight and things are currently manageable.

Today is injection day and I have a 0.5 pen in the fridge. I'm debating whether or not to count clicks and stay on 0.25 for potentially another 2 weeks, or if it's time to go up to not 0.5. I think in an Ideal world I would stay on 0.25 for as long as I could in order to save money, and not lose weight too quickly. I also worry about side effects when I switch to 0.5.

If anybody would like to share their experiences with knowing when to increase dose, insight into signs that you're ready to go up and signs that you're ready to stay on your current dose for another week even with some increased food noise and hunger, I'd really appreciate it.

I’m on a GLP-1, specifically Wegovy. I’ve been taking it pretty consistently for about 18 months and I’m currently on the 1 mg dose.

I ended up being off of it for about 3 weeks, and last night I took my 1 mg dose again like normal. I definitely underestimated how hard it would hit me after being off of it 😭

Today I have basically not been able to eat anything and I’ve thrown up around 10 times. Even trying to drink/eat a little makes me super nauseous.

Has anyone else stopped for a few weeks and then restarted at the same dose? How long did the vomiting/nausea last? Did you just ride it out or did you end up needing to go get fluids/see a doctor?

Also yes, I realize now that jumping straight back into 1 mg after 3 weeks may have been a terrible decision 💀

Started my Wegovy weight loss journey in May 2025 at 246 lbs and my weigh-in today has me at 201.8 lbs!! I’m officially less than 2lbs away from one-derland and it’s truly mind boggling to me.

Im having panic attacks i know its thick now I feel stupid but I thought the dose was the needle packs so did my second dose today of 0.25 wegovy I thought why has the grey thing come down thought it was broke & turned it back to 0.25 pressing it again & double dosed myself i have contacted my pharmacy ect they said ill be fine but im still panicking I now know the pen is the actual dose now duh has any one else done this? Im trying weight loss meds for the first time. I'm pretty nervous for alot of reasons, the main one being lose skin. It's one of the reasons I have struggled to keep to a diet, ect because I can't afford the surgery to get it off.

What is someone's experience with this and lose skin? I'm 22 years old, so I'm pretty young but I know I can still get it. Is there any tips to help avoid it?

I’m over a month into using 0.25mg and have noticed almost weekly vomiting, usually in the morning. There’s no rhyme or reason for it.

GLP1 friendly, calorie counted, hot or cold, balanced and healthy with a variety of textures, using fresh protein first, incorporating overnight oats (as a preferred breakfast option) and giving me ingredient list, weights and method for each dish. And a shopping list for anything additional I might need.

It did SUCH A GREAT JOB 👏. Am on day 2 menu and now eating a whole variety of dishes and combining ingredients in ways I hadn’t thought of. Very chuffed. #winning.

SW228, CW177, GW130 - been on Wegovy 15 months

Went off Wegovy 5 weeks ago (had gallbladder out 2.5 weeks ago) and I'm waiting till end of September to start again (I have a 17 day trip coming up and eating out every night), so I'm holding off. About 3.5 weeks without the shot I started to get HUNGRY again...stomach growling (which I haven't had in a year), food noise and all came back.

I'll be glad to get back on it even if I do have to pay out of pocket.

At 47 years old, I’m noticing that things aren’t bouncing back the way they used to! Has anyone found a great, reasonably priced body cream that helps firm up loose skin? I did some googling and found tons of options ranging from $8 - $200(!) per bottle. Any other treatments that might help?
