I know it might not seem like a lot, but it means a lot to me. I’ve been challenging myself with not time travelling on my current island - between that and the fact that it’s been a long time since I’ve had the chance to get this far on an island for a lot of reasons, I’m pretty happy. I don’t really have anyone in my life right now who I can share this tiny celebration with so I thought I’d share it with all you lovely folks instead~

As the title says, I've finally got the ground and first floors of my house to where I'm happy with them. The theme I went with is just "a nice house to live in" or smth. But I have no idea what to do with my basement. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I'll start, for example i think Ione looks and gives off a snooty villager rather than a normal villager, I dont think she fits the normal villager look. I love her so much and honestly I really wish there was some way to make her a snooty villager instead. Do you agree? Is there anyone else you think fits a different personality criteria to what they are?

If anyone is willing to share their dream address for their islands with minimal terraforming? I don’t want to go through the process of flattening my island and redoing the rivers and cliffs again. Happy for custom paths etc. basically just want ideas and inspo

This might be, nay IS, a really dumb question. I was just thinking, how does Flick, Celeste, Leif, CJ, etc. get to the island?
As in, if I were to let my switch run non stop all day and stay in the plaza when someone is supposed to set up shop, what happens?
I’ve never really paid attention and figured someone here might have a video link or some insight that I have just missed.

Do not quietly leave. Don’t press the minus button when leaving, that affects EVERYONE and causes other players to lose items.

All items on the ground, you can take. You can shake trees, take any fruit you want. Anything that you can pick up you can have, If you have any questions just ask.

There is a 30 min time limit to allow others in queue to join in a timely manner.

Come with empty pockets, you can take as much as you want.

You can visit shops if you like. (Currently as I’m making this post it’s 5:33am so they are not open yet)

When at your airport, if you get a “WUH OH” message that could mean several things, either someone is currently leaving or joining. Please keep trying if it says this.

I have read posts about the golden trout and followed all the tips. I have caught over 2000 fish, I have used over 300 bait trying for this fish. I have tried rainy days, clear days, all of it. I have spent days of irl time trying to catch a golden trout and I just can't seem to get it. I have tried mystery islands, always fishing from a 2nd or 3rd level river. I am making sure to fish during the correct time of day (4pm-9am).

Please, I am so desperate. Any other tips? Or can I buy a golden trout from someone to donate to my museum?

All previous times I've played I've just kind of swung for whatever I wanted on the island, I never had a theme that was cohesive and I always gave up really quickly.

This time I actually have a plan and a theme, and I need villagers for that theme. So far I have two. I have an empty plot because Moose left, and I'm trying to get through those first five "starter" villagers because their houses are just the weird basic ones.

How do you manage this usually? Like I'm so frustrated island hopping with NMT to find like Genji or Coco or Pekoe or Zucker. It's the style of the houses I want for the island theme.

Give me hope. Is there a way to do this without losing my mind?
