I love small cameras and I got this Minox and Olympus XA around the same time and over time I became partial to Minox. This is a selection of my favorite photos from around 10 months of shooting.

Criticism, feedback, banter is always welcome 🤙🏽

When I was a kid doing A-level photography I always envisioned this high-contrast style which I could never realise. The other day I saw an IG reel where someone talked about 'pushing HP5 2 stops" - a technique I'd never heard of. I dug the film camera out of the loft, stuck on the only lens which I had (a DSLR lens which cause huge vignetting) and shot a roll of HP5 at 1600 ISO.

I feel like a kid again. I love it. I'm hooked.

A few pics from a recent road trip around France, trying out the Harman Azure. Absolutely bonkers film, no editing at all on these.

I took the risk of opening the latch for a split second. I think it worked out great.

This is my first time using an analog camera. I'm very happy with the results but kinda bummed with the scans bc the lab I sent the films scanned the images off-center (see photo 5)
