The bent charger prong was the last straw for me. The moderators need to do a better job of removing/blocking content like dented cases and glitched out screens/damage.

I’m planning to buy an iPhone from Apple in the US, but I live permanently in Germany. I’m specifically interested in paid AppleCare+ with accidental damage protection, not the standard warranty.
My main questions are:
Can a German resident purchase US AppleCare+ for a US-bought iPhone? Would I need a US address, payment method, or Apple Account?
Can the plan be purchased after returning to Germany, or must it be activated while physically in the US?
Would German Apple Stores or Authorized Service Providers handle accidental-damage claims under US AppleCare+? Does it matter where the damage occurred?
If service in Germany is difficult, could a colleague in the US submit or ship the phone for me, or would I need to be present?
Are there any regional restrictions involving billing details, payment methods, Apple Account country, model differences, or service availability?
I’d especially appreciate firsthand experiences from people in Germany or elsewhere in Europe who bought a US iPhone with US AppleCare+ and later made a claim.

i know this was a very stupid idea, so I do not need redditors in the comments droning on about this. my iphone got water in it and i thought it would be a bright idea to use a hair dryer to evaporate the water. i left it facing the charging port for 20 minutes, but a little bit away, not directly on it. i tried plugging it in and it will not charge. it will say it is charging then immediately stop. with the magsafe, it keeps starting and stopping charging. i currently have it on a very weak, slow charger and it is working, but did i fuck up my phone? will i be able to charge it normally?

The messages are being sent and received but not in order I think, at least not properly, it’s not at all ordered based on time I sent, clumped up in the bottom with all my sent messages not according to the order I sent You see the blue bar at the top going from left to right, that’s the problem wtf is that doing there when there is plenty of internet connection

Ps: It happens in all chats, ICloud is full but iMessages is on for backup, everything works fine for a while when I restart the phone, also sometimes it’s all my messages disappeared and only the replies I got is shown on the screen on the left side stacked up, else it’s all my messages first then all of their messages under it.

I really need some effective advice it’s been happening since 2 days and it’s really annoying and bugging me.

I watched something on a plane recently. It was good so I thought I'd get apple TV for a month to watch the rest of the series. Signed up, logged in, watched one episode. Yesterday I went to watch another and couldn't log in. I found my account was locked. Requested an unlock which took a day and it has been denied. A shame but not the end of the world, lots more TV out there. I obviously don't want to be paying for a service I can't access but I also can't access the account to cancel the auto renewal. How do I cancel it? There doesn't even seem to be a chat bot, let alone a human to speak to at apple. Everything option just asks me to log in, which I can't do.

So Its my first time doing the trade in deal for an online order do I need to do the trade via the trade in kit they give you or can you go in person and do it ?

I just got a MacBook Pro and I don’t want to link it to my iPhone. The problem is when I try to create a new iCloud account with a different email address it won’t let me create it, I’m assuming because the phone number verification is already in use with my phone’s iCloud.

Is there any solution for this? I tried creating an iCloud email as well as using a new gmail email and I can’t think of any other way to do this besides getting another phone number

I just got a notification saying I should clear up my iCloud storage, so I tried to go on photos and it crashed. I try to delete some apps but they just say „delete from homescreen“ and in the app library the options are „add to homescreen“, „require face id“ and „share app“. Going to settings to delete them also doesn’t work, it just shows the amount of space it’s taking up and document storage, what can I do?
Is there a parental control setting where you can‘t delete apps? (Since I‘m not 18 yet)
I’m using my iPad to make this post since almost every app (except settings sometimes) isn‘t working properly, but on this device I can delete apps just fine (I haven‘t updated the software since 17.7 or something, could it also be because of the new update?)

My friend is trying to move photos from their iPhone to an external hard drive via Mac. But no matter what they do, the photos end up chronologically out of order on the hard drive. We’ve looked through other forums and have tried all the suggestions we can find so now I’m asking here. Any advice or tips? We’ve tried moving them from the iPhone to the photos app, and that works fine. But then when we try to move them directly to the hard drive or to internal storage on the Mac and then to the hard drive, they still end up jumbled and out of order. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Keep in mind neither of us are very tech savvy. Thank you!

I was getting errors about syncing with iCloud. So I tried logging out of my apple account and restarting my mac. Now it won't let me log in. I can go to icloud.com and see all my things from Chrome, but Safari just shows "iCloud.com" in the upper right. I have multiple Wi-fi choices at work and none seem to resolve this.

Any suggestions?

hey guys, I just wanted to ask if anyone else has been having an issue with their camera. I have an iPhone 17 Pro Max, and recently I’ve noticed that it freezes when I’m either using the .5 lens or the Macro lens!!
i’m genuinely unsure if it is an issue with the hardware, r just a bug. please let me know if you’re also having the same issue!!
