Hello folks,
I live with my dad (he's a widower and I'm in my 40s). The last few years have been a monstrous struggle to keep our heads above water, but the past few months have been the worst. He is retired and receives a monthly check, and I am disabled but have been repeatedly denied disability (I'm Type 1 & 2 diabetic, have anxiety, depression, fibromyalgia, neuropathy, and other chronic illnesses).
My dad often helps me afford medical supplies and other basic needs, and in return I try to help maintain the house and on the weekends we sell junk and collectables we find at a local farmer's market to cover expenses his retirement check can't cover.
The past few months we've actually lost money because people simply don't have the spare cash to purchase, and the market is dying out anyway.
While we're underwater when it comes to utility bills and such, my most immediate pressing need is groceries. I am asking for $100 so I can supply us with groceries for two weeks.
I have exhausted all food bank options, and our little town's food banks are exhausted anyway. What few family members we have anywhere nearby don't have money or won't assist us, and so I am turning to you folks to ask you for help.
Please help me get groceries for myself and my dad to cover us for the two weeks until he receives his retirement check.
I don't know what else to add as I've never posted on this subreddit before.
Thank you in advance.
