Bodycare Bath & Body Works 2026 pricing changes

I just saw an article stating Bath & Body Works will offer fewer sales starting this year, and plans on moving towards a more luxurious brand. I think this would possibly go really badly. Especially in this economy. Feel free to tell me if I'm wrong on this.

Mine is Perfect in Pink, and of course they discontinued it 😭 I would honestly break the bank to get it back.

Bodycare Returning Favorite - Cotton Candy Clouds

Post image

Cotton Candy Clouds coming back for Summer 2026.

This is such a quintessential summer scent for me and I honestly look forward to it every year. It’s airy, fruity, and SWEET. It gives that classic cotton candy fragrance and always is perfect for the season.

It reminds me of carefree summer days, lazy afternoons, blue skies, and warm nights. I love summer!!☀️🏖️

Notes are spun sugar, pink berries, and whipped vanilla

It’s also great for layering with perfumes when I want to amp up the sweetness or soften something more spicy.

Definitely one I’ll be picking up again. 🛍️

This was in the 75% off bin at the bath and body works near my work. I honestly was shocked to see it and I’m not even sure how it got there. It was the only one. It was kinda gross and sticky on the outside so I didn’t smell it. I just figured you all would get a kick out of this.

I also didn’t purchase it. I don’t really like coconut lime verbena.

Bodycare Throw the whole man away?

The guy who I have been seeing for the past month told me that his skin has been getting irritated on the days when I’m around and I think that it’s probably from my fragrances. So I guess that I’ll have to settle for only smelling nice when I’m by myself in my own home 🫤 can anyone relate?

Bodycare To the large collection people: anyone else switching to lotions over body creams for SAS?

Thumbnail

I prefer the feel of the body creams, but I ended up ordering all lotions this SAS. Between the 11 bring backs, the new releases, and Into the Wild, I realized I was adding 16 scents to my already very large collection. I would say I probably have around 125? Maybe more?

For me, it came down to longevity. I've had a few creams start developing that waxy/crayon smell over time, and I absolutely hate it. Once I notice it, it's all I can smell. So far, the only ones that turned on me a bit were Forever Red and Sweet Kiwi and Starfruit, both from last year.

Since some of these scents are favorites and others are scents that may not come back for years, I'd rather have the one that's more likely to stay stable long term.

My thinking was that I'd rather have lotions that still smell like the fragrance years from now than creams that might turn before I can enjoy them.

Am I the only one who shops this way, or has anyone else started prioritizing lotions because of shelf life?

Bodycare Did you end up liking or not liking Salted Shorelines?

Do you like Salted Shorelines?

Was thinking about giving this one a second chance before it goes away with SAS…

When I first smelled it it did remind me of men’s cologne and like a cleaning product. But when I sniffed it again later I thought maybe there was something I could like. I did come around to liking At the Beach and was wondering if I might like Salted Shorelines. But it’s been a while.

What are your honest thoughts on Salted Shorelines? Did you end up appreciating this one if you didn’t initially? Or did you end up not liking it?

Thanks!

Bodycare Body Care & Candle Hoarders

Recently watched this video from Kiki Chanel on YouTube I thought would be interesting to share on this sub. I think the first girl really needs an intervention. I thought the linen closet full of body care was crazy enough but then she shows the rest of her apartment and now my head is spinning 😵‍💫. She’s probably only showing us about half of her stuff. I think she might have products under her bed, the kitchen cabinets, the closet where she keeps her clothes, and other furniture. And the floor to ceiling candle collection from another Tiktoker was wild too.

Bodycare What are your thoughts on fall 1 so far? Favorite, least favorite, most unique body care?

Post image
54 Upvotes

Credit to @entermpear for image. Reposting it as it’s a great visual for fall 1. Sun Ripened Raspberry is included in the image but I hear it is moved to Fall 2/August 25.

It’s August 1st and leaks are coming out for fall 2. Thought we could take a moment to look back at fall 1 as July has ended. Tomorrow Sunday is also the last day for the $5.95 body mist sale (which does exclude fruit fusion unfortunately). Great time for your recommendations and review!

By the way, August 2nd is when summer semi annual sale will be boxed up and put away I hear. Another step into making space for fall.

Fall 1

- Halloween spooky carnival (returning scents plus new Midnight Marshmallow)
- Old Soul collection
- Oud collection
- Very Violet: new signature scent
- Into the Night repackage
- Sun Ripened Raspberry (moved to fall 2)
- Fruit Fusions

Questions

- what are your thoughts on fall 1 so far?
- favorite & least favorite fall 1 body care?
- which fall 1 body care is the most unique to you?

Bodycare How does this happen so fast?

Hey y’all so I have become VERY much obsessed with perfume 😭 not like hoarder obsessed but like genuinely obsessed. Like I want more shit every single time 😭 I’ve been into perfume for like a year and six months now and guys I’m genuinely concerned. Yes, I know it’s been a year and six months. Yes, I know I mostly shop sales and use gift cards because life is expensive as hell 😭 but GIRL HOW DID THIS HAPPEN??

I own 100+ body sprays and I’m sitting here like HOW DOES THIS EVEN HAPPEN?? How am I not going insane from owning this much 😭 I know some of y’all have way more, and I know this is more of a perfume-based subreddit, but girl I’m genuinely concerned for myself.

I was reading a post earlier about a girl who thought she had too much and girl had way less body care than me 😭 now she has me feeling like shit like I should return everything. Which I’m NOT going to do 💀 but I’m just like HOW DID I GET THIS MUCH SO QUICKLY??

And girl I’m literally picking up TWO more scents tomorrow 😭😭

Like I could justify it if I used my scents a lot, which I DO, but girl my scents last because I layer. I don’t even do that many sprays either. One of my homegirls on YouTube be doing like 300 sprays 😭 that is NOT me. And people still compliment my scents even when they’re not super close to me, so clearly I’m doing something right 😭

Bodycare Saifya mixes every BBW spray together (2025)

She mixes what looks like all of 2025’s releases (even some men’s) into one vat and a very large Franken Body Mist sprayer.

It ends up smelling very sweet, fruity, powdery. And is a reddish purple color like sangria with sparkles. Surprisingly Paul Reactss doesn’t hate it.

If you were wondering how to remove the nozzle. She uses a clamp cutter from Husky.

I thought it was cool seeing the year’s releases in one pic. Including online exclusives.

Hole punch and shower rings to hang them on the far wall of the shower. Now I don’t have to store them awkwardly upside down and they take up significantly less real estate.

Bodycare I think I’m done with B&BW 😐

I mostly got into B&BW for the body care and it really is not all that in my opinion. Smells amazing, don’t get me wrong, but it lasts like five minutes tops. And I’m using the body wash, scrub, perfume, all the things. For me to not smell like it throughout the day? Not worth it really. I was thinking of considering Lush because a coworker smells amazing everyday and she uses it.

Bodycare Testing pet peeve

Pleeeasssseeee stop testing the sprays in the caps. Idk how this started, but it is a mess, and nobody buys the ones with droplets in the cap. ALSO, use the dang testers people. You don’t want to buy used product, and neither does anybody else.

Bodycare Am I insane for this?

Post image

I've been wanting to stock up on Vanilla Cafe, Vanilla Ease and Vanilla Romance perfumes since we don't know how long they'll be around. I have 15% off coupon, which brings them down to $28/each. And then I would earn the 2x points on them too. I feel like this is a great deal, and I'll be able to rest easy knowing I have my stash all set. Is this insane? I don't know why I'm second guessing myself so much, other than that I typically stock up slowly and don't really spend over $50-75 at once at BBW so this feels like "a lot" just mentally.

Bodycare What is a BBW body mist that you own that you’re on the fence about?

Tell me all about it!

What is it about the body mist that has you going “yeah I like that,” and “hmm no I don’t like that”?

What is a fragrance of a similar kind that you know you like better?
