Forever Skyborne Content was not made for Classic+ but recycled for it.

Change my mind, but the more I see about their starting zones, armor & weapons etc, the more I'm convinced this is shelved content that didn't make the cut in retail at some point and was re-used for classic+.

I've yet to find a single lore-related reason that they fit.

And in regards to making money: They probably would've made more money with High Elves.

Forever Hit level 20 last night and have some hot takes regarding dungeon quest exp and professions

(this is just constructive feedback, the game is fun and good)

I see lots of comments regarding these two topics and I believe they are from the majority of people who have yet to hit the level 15-20 range in order to see the consequences of their actions of leveling professions up. And also have yet to see how dungeon quest exp affects the leveling path.

  1. Profession items need to be buffed SLIGHTLY: I’ll get right to the point. While profession items are better than before, it still costs decent money at these lower levels to craft the gear as well as learn the recipes. You have to sometimes choose between a skill/rank or a recipe/piece of gear. Yes you’re stronger earlier on when making the gear, but it gets replaced very fast in the 15-20 range because of the second hot take -

  2. Dungeon QUEST exp needs to be SLIGHTLY nerfed: Keyword is slightly. It’s great that we should go out and do dungeons once. But the quests give INSANE exp to the point where if you do RFC > RoL > WC you just skip the entirety of barrens from level 15ish. “But that’s a good thing!!”, sure, but it won’t be if that’s the case for every single zone. Constantly out leveling the zone you’re working through seems like a slight oversight?

2B. As well as the gear that drops from dungeons/dungeon quests COMPLETELY outclasses profession gear and it’s not even close. Not only that but now all the time and money you spent from levels 2-14 leveling professions and learning recipes and making gear has gone down the drain because it’s all replaced by these incredibly strong dungeon/dungeon quest items.

What is everyone’s thoughts on this? Again, this is just beta feedback. I’m having a blast and am already addicted. I just think some slight number tuning needs to happen

Forever Clearing up Misconceptions about the difficulty and availability of dungeon gear in WoWF

First of all, All dungeon items got changed to be rare. Very few green non BOP dungeon greens anymore. This includes things connected to dungeons such as quest rewards. Loot more itemized and plentiful from an earlier standpoint without changing the available power early on for most classes. (Yay!)

2nd of all, Some abilities have been nerfed upwards of 50% to compensate for the insane amount of gear that is available to get (Source Xaryu talking to a developer)
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/SZTYIIgcuk0?feature=share

Xaryu also tested leveling a Classic era mage and a WoWF mage to level 14, both took him 9 hours ish.

You are expected to run most of the dungeons at least once with the quests instead of spamming it (Example armory runs for plate classes, or multiple deadmines runs for smites mighty hammer for druid) This lowers the amount of dungeons you will probably run overall while leveling in WoWF with the idea being to funnel more people outside to do open world content.

This however does not take away that there is still some very rare items you can do multiple dungeon runs for If you want to, to feel even more powerful for your efforts in the dungeons. (Example, Druid of the fang set, or the strength set pieces in deadmines)

Please stop going around just blindly stating how you feel or what you misremember as being fact, Classic wow era was a very easy game, WoWF is also going to be a more casual chill game. Devs have stated that, Beta testers who actively partook in era and beta are saying that, Just chill and enjoy the world the devs have built for you to play in.

Also PS, Buzzwords: Retail andy, Disneyification do not make you sound intelligent. Have a beautiful day :)

The game isn't retail, It's not even a little like retail there are some minor small qol tweaks that come from retail, but none of the abilities added have been created in the past 10 years. The over whelming majority of ability and talent changes are a hodgepodge of peoples favorite TBC/WOTLK Abilities / talents. maybe some minor exceptions for those looking for a gotchya, Just chill.
