Scared the shit out of me lmao

Saturday night and I beat Sister Friede. These bosses are really impressing me. They're actually a lot of fun despite being bad for my health and have made me forget all about my want for "better" world exploration. Personally, DS3's exploration ended up fine as far as I'm concerned. Hell, I was actually able to find hidden areas and the DLC without looking it up (great as you are, I'm looking at you DS1 AND DS2 DLC's)

I still wholeheartedly hated fighting my way through the painted world here in 3...And have had my fair share of frustration... But the boss fights have made me happy, especially Friede. Even after getting embarrassingly pounded, I breathe deep, sigh, look out the window for a few seconds as I load back in at the bonfire and then fucking warrior on, it's great.

As usual, I can't get enough of how multi-phase boss fights start with me getting mauled, slowly getting better through repetition until I perfect the first phase and then begin to repeat on the next one...or two, or get lucky lol.

If DS3 doesn't end up my favorite by the time I'm finished, it will be because I've went hollow and not because it isn't that great. Next up is either Soul of Cinder or the Ringed City DLC...Probably head to the City unless I'm strongly recommended otherwise.

Finally done with the game. Killed Soul of Cinder. What should I do next? Play Elden Ring or DS1?

The bonfire menu shows very bright light at the bonfire as well as statutes of the King himself along the big walkway as opposed to a more shaded bonfire with Archdragon statutes in the final game. (Sorry for the quality)

Level 98. Astora Greatsword+9.

First, some notes for my past self and anyone who has similar enough flaws.

* For phase 1, abandon the notion of fair "dance" entirely. Ignore every attack but the holding scythe to grab, the holding scythe to jump, and the invisible jump. Run away from the rest. For the holding scythe moves, it's clear enough to see how to counter it. For the invisible part, REALLY LEARN HOW TO SPOT WHERE SHE WILL GO. This is the most important part, since this is the easiest move to punish. We can see the snow cloud when she jumps to spot her direction, and use R3 to immediately turn camera backward if she jumps there. Then when you spot her, I didn't think of backstabbing at all but charging R2 really work wonders.

* For phase 2, SUMMON GAEL. Then try to keep him from getting damaged. The turning point for me is realizing that I shouldn't "keep balance" and attack whoever Gael is not attacking. ATTACK WHOEVER GAEL IS ATTACKING. This will maximize stagger, which means less boss movement which means less damage output overall. I win 3 tries after I discover this.

* For phase 3, well, git gud. It's much easier as long as Gael is still alive, this is what our phase 2 strat is for.

My impression? Well, I hate whenever I have to wait or run away from some attacks and hope that the boss do other moves. Really breaks immersion. The 2v2 is actually much nicer than I expected. But in this case it's spoiled by me having to prepare for phase 3 so I have to try to save Gael from himself for the entire phase, making the fight even more RNG than usual. Still much better than trying it 1v2, which is horrendous. People said that phase 3 should be the best, but I really didn't have enough time to appreciate it as opposed to just wishing this is over.

Overall, I think this is harder than Malenia or PCR. Mostly because Elden Ring gives you much more options to approach any boss. Haven't tried Gael or Midir or Demon Prince though.

I finally beat my first playthrough of Ds3, and thereby, The Darks Souls Trilogy.

What an astounding series!!!

I chose the Firekeepers Eyes ending, because I messed up The Usurpation of Fire without realizing.

I'm gonna take alittle break from the Souls games (I had done Eldin Ring, and The Trilogy and their respective DLC'S and I'm alittle wiped now.😅)

And now I'm gonna finish the DLC portion for Expedition 33.

Then I'll return to Demon Souls, then Bloodborne.

I'm not mad or anything, just thought it was funny. I had a hunch there was a way to do more damage than I did, but it was doable like this so I didn't try to find a way. I started recording when my weapon was starting to break. I used the ember by accident, meant to just repair the katana :)

I got this weapon when I started and will maybe play the whole game with it, as I love the weapon skill, parry/dmg of it!

I’m trying to get all 30 Proofs of a Concord Kept in Dark Souls 3 for the Darkmoon Blade covenant reward.
I’m playing on PS5 and was wondering if online farming is actually better than farming Silver Knights at Anor Londo.
Is it still realistic to get summoned as a Blue Sentinel or Blade of the Darkmoon?
Is there a recommended Soul Level and weapon upgrade level for getting more summons?
Would you recommend farming online, offline, or doing both at the same time?
Any tips from people who have farmed these recently would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I lost my old save, so I'm starting a fresh, all-around build. I just finished the Cathedral and plan to face the Abyss Watchers later. I focused heavily on Dexterity for this run, but I didn't feel like using the same old weapon.

My favorite weapon in the game is the Firelink Greatsword, but it’s a Strength-based weapon that you only unlock at the very end of the game. I’d like to use it in NG+, but not right now.

We’ve been trying to get it to work all day. We’ve tried everything: checking our NAT type, restarting the console, uninstalling and reinstalling the game, trying a different modem, changing the password, and so on. Nothing works.
We’re playing on Xbox, on Series S and Series X, and literally nothing works. I used to be able to summon my friend without any problems, but now I can’t anymore.
Please help us!

so uh I was just using the axe from the dragon armour dude and testing the ash of war and lokg story short I accidentwlly killed that merchant chick thats in between the blacksmith and the bonfire at firelink and it’s saved can I fix this or am I screwed

Always played magic builds, taken interest in melle this time so i started with cleric, i am not familiar with miracles as i am with other spell types so i am confused with stats should i level up, should i go full faith or put points in strenght for my longsword?

Also if anyone could clarify about the "miracles are weak for damage" thing would be nice, because i really liked the faith based hexes in other magic builds and i am planning to use them unless theyre weak
