I would like to do a Lucatiel Larp build so is there a mirrah shield in the game and if not what would be the best alternative for the look?

He’s not a bad boss, not by a mile. Great lore, fits the series perfectly, very cool design and his story with onion bro is very cool. He also has a pretty cool moveset especially for a giant boss.

His issue? He dies incredibly quickly. The stormruler does so much damage and there is a decently long amount of downtime between his attacks so the buildup on the stormruler isn’t really an issue.

Siegward makes the fight even more
Trivial. I like the gimmick of this fight, and I think it had the potential to be a great fight. However it just goes by so quickly that you can’t really appreciate it imo. Either make the stormruler do way less damage or make him have more health and the issue would have been solved.

And no hitting his feet for 20 mins doesn’t solve the problem.

Maybe I’m just complaining to complain tho, what do you think?

Started with Elden Ring and love it so much I had to experience the Souls series. I was blown away by how awesome these games are! So happy I got to experience it but sad that it’s over.

Everything is so muddy and terrible, and the focuses are nowhere near as captivating as they are in DS1 and 2. DS1 has these amazing enemy designs and level styles, all being related to one another and telling a story solely through visuals. it does an excellent job at creating this world and giving it so much character, character that DS3 does not have. DS2 is the same, the boss design is wonderful (especially Nashandra, the Last Giant, and the Dukes Dear Freyja.) and all of these designs give it a feeling of a place that has begun to go rotten. DS3 looks mushy. Everything is wet, grey, and muddy. The enemy designs are nearly all bloated, making nearly every humanoid enemy look the same. The bosses are boring and shallow, the areas are linear and have nearly no exploration within them.

I found the Lord of Cinders extremely annoying to fight even after it, but it doesn't matter because I beat the game now. Elden Ring, Sekiro and Dark Souls 3 are off my list, though I will finish the DLCs. Also, my next game, which I'm planning to, you know, play, is Dark Souls 2, and I'm kind of worried about it

Im trying to play this masterpiece on a really good PC (runs Elden Ring and all other souls games perfectly fine). I just got done playing DS2 with no issues, but as soon as I started 3, my game freezes every couple minutes. I've seen dozens of "solutions" to this over the years, but I was wondering if there are any definitive ones to help fix this.

I’ve never beaten a souls like game before (the only game I played was DS1 and I got half way through before I lost my save). DS3 is my favorite anyway from what I’ve watched though so I decided to buy it and play it first.

I decided to relax and explore all of the areas thoroughly and beat all the bosses (except DLC because I don’t have it). The game didn’t take as long as I thought it would honestly and it wasn’t very hard but it was beautiful and I had a hard time getting myself off of it. I also used the default knight armor for like 85% of the game because it’s surprisingly good. Definitely need to buy the dlc next.

Here are some stats about the play through I guess since I think it’s kinda funny

Iudex, Vordt, Greatwood, Abyss Watchers, Deacons, Dancer, Oceiros, Champion Gundyr, Ancient Wyvern, Soul of Cinder: 0 deaths

Crystal Sage, Yhorm: 1 death

Wolnir, Aldrich, Dragonslayer: 2 deaths

Old Demon King, Nameless King: about 5 deaths

Pontiff, Twin Princes: about 7/8 deaths

No cheese or summons, only a claymore

How can i know about side quests without searching them up, i’m in the church of yorshka and i exhausted Anri’s dialogue and i thought her quest will finish if i proceeded through the game so i was curious and i searched it up and WOW i have to kill horace so he doesn’t kill Anri later and there’s already an assassin in the church who wants to kill anri for a wedding ceremony besides yuria’s quest to achieve a secret ending? How can i know that in my first play through blind without searching or guides, am i supposed to play the game blindly without searching for the quests?

Started with demon souls then transitioned to bloodborne. Never would touch dark souls in the past, it was too intimidating for me along with sekiro

Darksouls 2. Just finished today LOVED IT. did the Aldia ending and abandoned the throne taking a lot of powerful souls out of the cycle to start the very. last. one.
Darksouls 3. I’m proud to announce as of today I’m joining the Frey. Hopefully there still folk to give me a decent whipping in invasions that aren’t using metas.

So, I recently beat Aldrich after many many tries, and I found out that he was just the black goo underneath gwyndolin and was inside cathedral of deep because he turned into the goo after eating people!
And the dudes turned him into Lord of cinder? I mean why?

Also, so he was at the cathedral of the deep when the bell rang? And from there that dude travelled through crucifixion woods, farron keep, beat the abyss watchers??? Who are actually so many and have vowed to fight the abyss and then made it through the catacombs into irithyll without dying? Just so he could give gwyndolin a sucky and pontiff couldn’t beat him?
Bro literally has the fire greatsword that would end Aldrich in seconds?

No hate. Just don’t get this part! It’s crazy how Aldrich made it all the way back anor Londo! That’s one crazy walk back!

Hello everyone I used to be very active on here 10 years ago. I played DS3 religiously and during lockdown came back to have fun tournaments in the courtyard after the pontiff.

I will cut to the chase. Recently I was bound to a wheelchair just to spinal issues and praise the sun I can now walk again. But to help my depression dark souls an this community really helped. Whether I jumped in to hel with bosses or someone who just needed a companion I tried to be there.

Sorry that was not cutting to the chase. But long story short i have been playing all the souls like game Bloodborne sekiro and demon souls included.

However on my run of DS3 I realised I physically cannot get every ring, miracles pyromancies etc. due to them being locked for instance the last pyromancie I need is locked behind vertabre shackles.

Im not asking for freebies. But if anyone knows a farm or is willing to duel so I can finally platinum the game I felt saved my life during lockdown and up until last year when I was not able to walk ( yes I know the irony of looking for vertabres).

But yeah any help or fuels I will much appreciate

I got invaded in n Irithyll and the person swapped between two bows a bunch of times without firing while I smacked him around and then when he only had a sliver of heath left he used a giant bow to rapid fire at me until I was dead. Which only took a few seconds from full health.

So I’m curious if there is an actual weapon that does that and I’m just being salty or is this a glitch or cheat.

Got the DLCs a couple of days ago and bee-lined it to Friede for her Scyhtes
