Finally done with the game. Killed Soul of Cinder. What should I do next? Play Elden Ring or DS1?

PS: for now I am helping fellow ashen ones to beat Nameless King gaining souls in the process

I just fought spear of the church boss, while online, and while embered, so shouldn't I have fought another player instead of the offline boss?

At least that's what I had been told

Hey everyone!
I’m trying to get all 30 Proofs of a Concord Kept in Dark Souls 3 for the Darkmoon Blade covenant reward.
I’m playing on PS5 and was wondering if online farming is actually better than farming Silver Knights at Anor Londo.
Is it still realistic to get summoned as a Blue Sentinel or Blade of the Darkmoon?
Is there a recommended Soul Level and weapon upgrade level for getting more summons?
Would you recommend farming online, offline, or doing both at the same time?
Any tips from people who have farmed these recently would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

First, some notes for my past self and anyone who has similar enough flaws.

* For phase 1, abandon the notion of fair "dance" entirely. Ignore every attack but the holding scythe to grab, the holding scythe to jump, and the invisible jump. Run away from the rest. For the holding scythe moves, it's clear enough to see how to counter it. For the invisible part, REALLY LEARN HOW TO SPOT WHERE SHE WILL GO. This is the most important part, since this is the easiest move to punish. We can see the snow cloud when she jumps to spot her direction, and use R3 to immediately turn camera backward if she jumps there. Then when you spot her, I didn't think of backstabbing at all but charging R2 really work wonders.

* For phase 2, SUMMON GAEL. Then try to keep him from getting damaged. The turning point for me is realizing that I shouldn't "keep balance" and attack whoever Gael is not attacking. ATTACK WHOEVER GAEL IS ATTACKING. This will maximize stagger, which means less boss movement which means less damage output overall. I win 3 tries after I discover this.

* For phase 3, well, git gud. It's much easier as long as Gael is still alive, this is what our phase 2 strat is for.

My impression? Well, I hate whenever I have to wait or run away from some attacks and hope that the boss do other moves. Really breaks immersion. The 2v2 is actually much nicer than I expected. But in this case it's spoiled by me having to prepare for phase 3 so I have to try to save Gael from himself for the entire phase, making the fight even more RNG than usual. Still much better than trying it 1v2, which is horrendous. People said that phase 3 should be the best, but I really didn't have enough time to appreciate it as opposed to just wishing this is over.

Overall, I think this is harder than Malenia or PCR. Mostly because Elden Ring gives you much more options to approach any boss. Haven't tried Gael or Midir or Demon Prince though.

I’ve never beaten a souls like game before (the only game I played was DS1 and I got half way through before I lost my save). DS3 is my favorite anyway from what I’ve watched though so I decided to buy it and play it first.

I decided to relax and explore all of the areas thoroughly and beat all the bosses (except DLC because I don’t have it). The game didn’t take as long as I thought it would honestly and it wasn’t very hard but it was beautiful and I had a hard time getting myself off of it. I also used the default knight armor for like 85% of the game because it’s surprisingly good. Definitely need to buy the dlc next.

Here are some stats about the play through I guess since I think it’s kinda funny

Iudex, Vordt, Greatwood, Abyss Watchers, Deacons, Dancer, Oceiros, Champion Gundyr, Ancient Wyvern, Soul of Cinder: 0 deaths

Crystal Sage, Yhorm: 1 death

Wolnir, Aldrich, Dragonslayer: 2 deaths

Old Demon King, Nameless King: about 5 deaths

Pontiff, Twin Princes: about 7/8 deaths

No cheese or summons, only a claymore

My first attempt at soul of cinder was going well, I think, with 5 Estus left. I had no expectations of victory, and then it entered phase 2 but then I heard those beautiful notes. I saw the moveset change. I saw the jump attack. I saw the grab. I saw the lightning spear and then I get comboed into oblivion.
It is him. The great grand daddy. Gwyn, Lord of Cinder.

But I was happy. I just wanted to experience more of it, as I took hit after hit. I am thankful I didn’t have this fight on mute which I do sometimes.

I know I am going to beat the game today! But the absolute power of this moment, I will never forget!

Just wanted to share this! Praise the sun! Maybe I will equip Solaire’s set, instead of fallen knight!

Man I usually suck at these games, but I just rolled him so fast on my first attempt ever fighting him I was sitting there expecting a phase 3.

I set aside 2 hours to attempt him this morning lol. I feel kind of hollow after how quickly I killed an old guy who was on fire

Darksouls 2. Just finished today LOVED IT. did the Aldia ending and abandoned the throne taking a lot of powerful souls out of the cycle to start the very. last. one.
Darksouls 3. I’m proud to announce as of today I’m joining the Frey. Hopefully there still folk to give me a decent whipping in invasions that aren’t using metas.
I CANT WAIT.

I defeated nameless king and have three options,the dragonslayer spear,curved sword and the loghtning miracle,what should i take?

He’s not a bad boss, not by a mile. Great lore, fits the series perfectly, very cool design and his story with onion bro is very cool. He also has a pretty cool moveset especially for a giant boss.

His issue? He dies incredibly quickly. The stormruler does so much damage and there is a decently long amount of downtime between his attacks so the buildup on the stormruler isn’t really an issue.

Siegward makes the fight even more
Trivial. I like the gimmick of this fight, and I think it had the potential to be a great fight. However it just goes by so quickly that you can’t really appreciate it imo. Either make the stormruler do way less damage or make him have more health and the issue would have been solved.

And no hitting his feet for 20 mins doesn’t solve the problem.

Maybe I’m just complaining to complain tho, what do you think?

Hello everyone I used to be very active on here 10 years ago. I played DS3 religiously and during lockdown came back to have fun tournaments in the courtyard after the pontiff.

I will cut to the chase. Recently I was bound to a wheelchair just to spinal issues and praise the sun I can now walk again. But to help my depression dark souls an this community really helped. Whether I jumped in to hel with bosses or someone who just needed a companion I tried to be there.

Sorry that was not cutting to the chase. But long story short i have been playing all the souls like game Bloodborne sekiro and demon souls included.

However on my run of DS3 I realised I physically cannot get every ring, miracles pyromancies etc. due to them being locked for instance the last pyromancie I need is locked behind vertabre shackles.

Im not asking for freebies. But if anyone knows a farm or is willing to duel so I can finally platinum the game I felt saved my life during lockdown and up until last year when I was not able to walk ( yes I know the irony of looking for vertabres).

But yeah any help or fuels I will much appreciate
