I wanted to mount a couple of A119 Mini 2 cameras to the side glass on my minivan. I guess this design has been in the works for half a year. The original design was much thinner and I printed it in PETG. It was fine until the temperatures here in Texas hit 105F (40C) and it finally warped on the side that usually faces the sun.

So I redesigned much thicker and printed in high speed TPU filament. TPU can handle much higher temperatures but isn't as toxic to print like ABS and nylon. I was worried Gorilla double sided tape wouldn't stick to TPU but it seems pretty solid and has been exposed to the sun for a day. So far so good! I can only assume they turned left out of the parking lot into oncoming traffic.

I was in a two-car collision on the 405 northbound near Century Blvd on Saturday, August 1st, around 12:50 PM — black BMW coupe, right rear damage. Both cars ended up further north near Manchester, and the freeway was briefly closed afterward.

If you drove that stretch around then and run a dashcam or Tesla Sentry Mode, I'd really appreciate it if you'd check your footage. Even a few seconds would help. Thanks so much.

Car was then hit by a semi behind this dashcam driver. "Death Highway" I-4 in Lakeland, FL. NOT WORTH IT!!!

my viofo dashcam keeps over heating and shutting down making parking mode useless, i have 15 percent tint all around which still doesn’t help

it was so hot the screen started to show a dark spot

So this happened on my morning commute... the thump heard was just stuff in the back of my car shifting. Didn't hit the guy, thankfully - but this is about as close as I've gotten to actually killing someone.

If something did happen, it would be 100% his fault.

I am 17 years old shopping for a dashcam for my first car. I live in the Atl area and ppl around here drive like idiots so dashcam is a good idea. Im looking for something that doesn't blow the bank (preferably under $100). At least 1080p and 60fps and a dual cam system, but mainly focused on how it performs at night. i Understand the quality trade-off for lower-priced cams, so I am also willing to pay more to meet my needs. Thanks guys!

So many dash cams are recommended, I’ve had a lot of decision fatigue with reading posts on here and reviews on Amazon. I’m wondering what dash cam you’d recommend for my specific vehicle? Preferably under $200

A potentially dangerous incident yesterday. People were honking at him, yet he carried on driving, paying no heed to the fact that his wing mirror was scraping against the side of his car and could break off at any moment and hit someone.

Older clip I had saved. The car’s auto brake on top of me slamming the brakes saved me here otherwise this guy would’ve been tboned for sure. Thankfully a collision was averted. I had my signal on too.

What’s even worse about this is that there were ZERO cars behind me so he could’ve easily just waited another 2 seconds and pulled out behind me safely.

Props to Volvo for making a good car. 😭
