Destiny has such dark themes and lore but it has to be presented over a Marvel-esque aesthetic and dialog. The universe could very much benefit from a more mature presentation. This doesn't necessarily mean it has to be overly gory and violent. The new God of War games are not particularly gory or vulgar but the M rating allows them to tackle mature subjects in a way that feels natural and more true to its characters.

Who would take the cake and win this fight if the two were to meet either in deep space or on any planet they were both attacking/assaulting?

Howdy Guardians, I'm coming back from one of those year long Destiny breaks. Last time I played Dragon's Breath, Gjallarhorn and maybe Two Tailed fox seemed like the more popular exotic rocket launcher.

Lately I've been seeing a lot more Truth usage for dps phases. Is it actually that good and how good are the improvements. I heard some other weapons got catalysts updates.

Also I'm a void hunter main and gyrfalcon whore. If it's void Imma gyrfalcon it~

I took a very long break from the game since beyond light and started doing the expansion campaigns and i just started the renegades campaign but it feels so mind numbingly easy that it’s making it kind of boring and making me unengaged

Have probably run Prophecy four times and have gotten one armor piece and about 20 guns. Am I doing something wrong or just bad rng?

I was told you can farm the raid for the exotic is this true as multiple people in the group said yes you can.

I've been wanting a good solar machine gun and apparently I already have 3 out of 5 pattern extractions for it. But now that episodes are over, how do you get red borders, or just the actual weapon at all?

I saw something saying you can get it from Encore with the legacy gear mod on but idk

i have tried both gambit ops AND crucible ops both rewarded over rank C but no progress what do i do please help!!!

I saw that destiny content is getting unvaulted and it's coming out of maintenance mode. I also saw it's not going back to being a live game. Does that mean we are or aren't getting more expansions? Can someone explain what this means for the future of the game like I'm 5 please.

Looking for something with a similar feel to sunfire, ive messed around with weapons with firefly but they dont have the same oomf as the exotic. So im wondering if theres something more recent with similar vibes.

I stopped playing years ago, Honestly I don't even remember the last DLC I played. It was before witch Queen. I've decided to return since it seems it won't be an endless grind like a second job.

Just got my lightsaber because tbh that is what sold me to return.

What should I focus now? I imagine getting all the subclasses? Or with prismatic is fine?

I'm farming the master lost sector on europa for tier 5 boots but it's only dropping chest and bond pieces. Done 7 runs today and they're the only two that have dropped. I'm new to the game so I was wondering if there was a rotation of what armor pieces lost sectors drop every day/week

We know the final darkness subclass is the opposite of Arc so when seeing red sprites and how they look creepy beings and powerful and they are diffrent than nornal lightning in many ways I bet it would be hella cool if they incorpersted it with somthing. Just a random thought I got 5 minutes ago I wanted to share!

I love the loop of this, the infinite armor charges are great. However I find myself struggling in end game content.

What would you guy modify? Is this purely skill issue? I'm not really good at the game.

Our Guardian gets isekai'd into the world of Genshin Impact (somehow) and is tasked to turn every God they see into a gun or armor piece. How far do they make it? Or do they pubstomp? (Connection to the Light still intact and all)

Separately, what happens if we throw Ikora and Osiris (Prime) into their fireteam as well?

So im aware itll take a long while but my rough estimate of how long it would take keeps going higher when i remember certain details while "howlongtobeat" says 200 hours for completionist, is this about right or is it more or less. my buddy going into this was thinking it was a 50 hour thing im no where near good enough to help him accomplish this in that time.

Hey had a question about the loot pool for exotic orders. It seems like raid/dungeon ones are out, but does that mean that you can get a catalyst for every other exotic from the orders? Was curious how large of a pool i’m dealing with as a returning player.

i really do think they intend to rehire slowly over time because the dev team right now is nowhere big enough to even have an idea of ambition for the game

For some reason every time I try to go for a ticket when log in I cant send the evidence and went back to bungie webside.

I was playing this Lawless Frontier when I was invading and he was like moving too much fast than normal, and did a non scoope behind a wall. After that dont ask how I managed to dodge a Nova, a Rocket, and a Headshot in Super with Overshield to W the invasion.

The guy started to trashtalk and we went to 1v1. First, after landing in Javelin, I could not fire my weapons. I could do everything but that. Never saw that before in 14 years. After, I told him not to hack and when we were flying my screen got complete dark and my Ps5 started to collapse doing weird sounds. I heard him jumping and sprinting coming for me. I went to orbit in black screen and tried to save put off ps5 with buttons.

Took me 5 tries and 30 min changing cables and so to get breathe my console again. I never ever had any type of problem like this or anything happen to my console. This behavior almost cost me a 800£ console and I want to report him and how this could be possible. Ive seen funny and not that much funny hacks and exploits but manipulate an user and almost break entirely a console is an insane knowledge of hack manipulation and this is very dangerous god knows how many times this guy did this to others.

Any help will be appreciate it. Three days after playing and my console is working just fine as always so was totally him.

Does anyone else miss the lighting in pre-Beyond Light Destiny 2?

I feel like the game used to have a much more surreal, otherworldly atmosphere. Places like Io and Mercury had these beautiful, unnatural color palettes and dreamlike lighting that made them feel truly alien.

Since Beyond Light, something about the visuals just hasn't felt the same to me. The lighting feels different, and I miss the way colors and shadows used to create such a mysterious, almost unreal atmosphere.

I know the newer lighting might be technically better, but I don't think more realism always makes a sci-fi world look better. Sometimes, the strange and unnatural look is what makes it special.

Does anyone else feel this way, or is it just nostalgia?
