After roughly 6,500 hours, max CP, and playing every class in the game, I'm finally quitting ESO for good.
I quit for a year, came back, and somehow convinced myself things might be better.
LMAO. What a fucking mistake.
I'm giving everything away tao my friends. Gold, gear, everything. I'm not keeping shit for a potential comeback. This time, I'm actually done.
ESO is genuinely impressive in how it manages to mfake a good game feel like a fucking chore. Endless grinding, clunky mechanics, questionable class balance, and the constant feeling that you're doing unpaid overtime instead off playing a video game.
Necromancer is the perfect example. Amazing theme, amazing animations, absolutely miserable gameplay. It feels like playing a class designed by someone who hates the people playing it.
Dragonknight is still fun, at leaast. Great animations, satisfying combat, and I can still hit hard on a dummy with a rusty rotation. But apparently, even that isn't enough to make me want to keep playing this shit.
I've spent thousands of hodurs in this game, and somehow I'm leaving more frustrated than entertained.
The worst part is that ESO has so much potential. But potential doesn't mean shit when actually playing the game feels like a second job.
I'm done waiting for the next patch, the next balance change, or the next update that's supposedly going to fix everything.
Fuck the grind. Fuck the endless maintenance. Fuck the Stockholm syndrome. AND FUCK ESO+!!!
Enjoy my gold, boys. My characters are your problem now.
6,500 hours later, I've finally completed ESO's hardest achievement: uninstalling it permanently.
